I’ve cared for dogs from small to extra large for decades, and I treat every animal in my care like one of my own. I’m a married homeowner in Fells Point and started a small local dog walking and pet care business to serve the neighborhood’s four-legged family members. Whether you need a one-time walk over the holidays, regular weekday walks, boarding, house sitting, or last-minute help, I’d love to work with you. Safety, trust & environment
For pet and house sitting, I take detailed notes so your pet and home receive exactly the care you expect. I’m fully insured and am happy to provide a certificate of insurance when I’m staying in your home or boarding your pet in mine. For boarding, I only accept dogs I’ve already walked and built some trust with. My home is a great setup for dogs, with two levels of space to relax and move around, plus a fully fenced backyard. Your pup would also get to spend time with my two friendly mutts from the profile pictures, while still having their own space when they need it.
Pets
A typical day
A typical day depends on your pet’s normal routine, energy level, and personality. I’m a big believer in keeping dogs active and engaged, so that may include neighborhood walks, backyard playtime, toys, treats, training practice, plenty of attention, and some well-earned downtime. I generally try to walk each dog at least 0.5 to 0.75 miles per walk, while always taking the weather, season, age, and comfort of the dog into account. For dogs staying with me, they’ll have access to a fenced backyard, plenty of space inside, and the opportunity to socialize with my two dogs when appropriate. I also make sure every pet receives individual attention and follows the feeding, medication, exercise, and sleep routine their owner requests.
