About: I currently have two cats and experience with medical interventions as my male cat is diabetic. I’ve loved getting to know their individual personalities and needs! I hope to provide the same compassionate and specialized care to other pets in the area. With my current work schedule I’m available all weekend for pet care and visits and every afternoon for drop ins, walks and assorted needs. My schedule is pretty flexible with time in advance to plan! Pets in my home have well scheduled care and there needs are met on a reliable and consistent basis to help them feel comfortable and decrease stress. I have two cats that get along well with other animals!

About: I've lived with animals my entire life — there's never been a stretch without a cat or a dog in the house. I've raised three puppies from their chaotic early weeks all the way to well-mannered adulthood, and I've spent just as many years around cats, from skittish rescues to laid-back lap cats who never leave your side. That mix of experience means I'm comfortable with the very different things dogs and cats need — walks, playtime, and training cues for one; a calm hand, a clean litter box, and patience for the other. Years of pet-sitting for other families has taught me to read what an individual animal needs rather than treat every visit the same way. Whether it's a dog who needs an energetic walker, a cat who just wants company and consistency, or a multi-pet household juggling both, I'll treat your home and your pets like my own. While my weekday work hours are long, my weekends are sacred — and my golden retriever gets the full benefit of that. We're out for long walks, playing at the park, or just hanging out together with nothing else competing for my attention. That's the same energy and focus your pet would get when I'm caring for them: undivided attention, plenty of activity, and someone who genuinely wants to be there rather than squeezing it in between other things. Whether I'm caring for your pet in my home or yours, my approach is the same: plenty of activity balanced with genuine downtime. I'm an active person who loves a good long walk, a game of fetch, or just running around outside — but I'm just as happy cozying up with a good book while a dog or cat curls up next to me. Lots of snuggles are guaranteed either way. I live in a very walkable part of Baltimore with lots of foot traffic, so there's no shortage of good routes and new sights and smells. My golden retriever and I are out most days walking along the wharf, and I'm glad to bring your pet along on those same walks or tailor the pace and distance to whatever they're used to. In your home, I'll stick as closely as possible to your pet's normal routine — feeding times, walk schedule, favorite spots — so the biggest change they notice is an extra set of hands to give them attention.

About: I love all animals, but dogs and cats have a special place in my heart. I grew up enjoying their companionship and taking care of the dogs and cats my family raised. My friends and family have relied on me for the last 10 years to take care of their dogs and cats when they need help. I have experience with many breeds and all sizes. My schedule is very flexible as I work from home. I cherish the opportunity to take your pet outside for walks and take care of their needs during the work day. I am able to provide a high level of attention and am available most weekends. I have a small fenced in yard, as well as dog-friendly parks walking distance away. We have a very friendly labradoodle pup in the house who enjoys having other dogs come over.

About: INTRO: I will care for your pet like he or she is my own family member! I make sure your dog gets the proper attention, exercise and nutrition he or she may need. I love spending time with animals, this includes snuggling and games. I am more than willing to do house sitting duties as well, like watering plants, checking mail, signing for packages, or anything else you may need while you are away. I'm also open to caring for fish and other aquatic and exotic pets. ABOUT ME: I grew up with two chihuahua mixes and have been around dogs of all breeds for the majority of my life. I had a pet turtle for many years when I was a kid and I have also been around many cats though through family and friends. I work from home so I am able to provide your dog with many bathroom breaks as well as outside time. When it is nice out I often work in the backyard with my dog. I can also provide walks / leash training when they are in my care. OUR HOME: I live with my fiance (also a verified Rover sitter!) and our super senior chihuahua mix and live in a small row house across from a park. I never let my dog out without a leash and close supervision and will provide the same to your pet. There is plenty of couch space for naps and cuddles, as well as little corners for makeshift caves and relaxing spaces -- though we have 4 formal doggy beds as well. We can also divide the space in half if your pet needs some independence or boundaries, or there is room for a crate. For sleepovers, dogs are not usually allowed on beds but they often do find themselves there, somehow. I work from home, and I run errands during the week occasionally, but if your dog cannot be alone let me know and between my fiance (also a Rover sitter!) and I, someone can stay with your dog. We also have friends who have dogs in the neighborhood so if your pup wants/needs to socialize we can arrange that! Bunny, our super senior chihuahua's typical routine: 7:00 AM - first potty 7:15 AM - breakfast 11:00 AM - lunch potty 1:00 PM snack break 2:00 PM - afternoon potty / backyard sniffing time 5:00 PM - pre-dinner walk 6:00 PM - dinner 11:00 PM - last potty In between, are naps, snacks, training, playing. Heavy on the naps. I don't let my dog meet other dogs on walks! And do the same for clients, unless otherwise specified. I will always check with you before bringing your dog on a new activity. **I only typically take one client (multiple dogs okay) but there are some crossover times, sometimes (typically one night or one afternoon). If you would like to ensure that you are the only client I can provide that service for an extra $10/day.

I live in the Fed Hill/Riverside area and WFH most days! I would love to get out of the house and walk dogs on my lunch break whenever possible. I miss my pups back home and am needing some time with dogs! I can easily walk dogs on the leash or with a harness! I can crate if needed and do whatever is best for your pets needs!

About: I’ve spent years caring for pets in my community, including seniors and those with medical & behavioral needs. I’m new to Baltimore and new to Rover, and I’d love to use my skills to explore the city with your pet! I’m currently working part-time, so I’ll have plenty of time for your pets! I am also free most evenings after 5:30, and I’m open to overnight stays. I currently cannot offer hosting pets in my home, but when I care for your pet, I truly care.
