About: I've taken care of all different kinds of pets since I was 15, ranging from small dogs like westies and dachshunds to big dogs like pitbulls and Newfoundlands, as well as cats, and small mammals like guinea pigs. I work from home so I can watch your pet at my house, or I can stop by and sit them for a while, and I also have experience house sitting pets. I currently work from home and make my own hours, so I can work around your pet's schedule. I can take care of them at my house or watch them in their own home. I have a fenced in yard and multiple floors with pet gates on each level to keep your pets separated from own if it is needed.
About: I have experience caring for both dogs and cats. My family has owned dogs throughout my life, and I currently have two cats of my own. Through both personal and family experience, I have cared for pets of different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. I am a responsible, dependable, and caring person who understands that every pet has unique needs. Whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, administering basic care, or simply providing companionship, I will make sure your pet is safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and treat every pet as if they were my own. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets while you’re away, and I strive to provide reliable care and peace of mind. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! As a high school athletic trainer, my schedule becomes much more flexible during the summer when school is out. This gives me additional time throughout the week to dedicate to caring for pets and ensuring they receive the attention, exercise, and care they need. I enjoy staying active, so incorporating walks, playtime, feeding schedules, and check-ins into my daily routine comes naturally. As a pet owner myself with two cats, I understand the importance of consistency and reliable care. Whether your pet needs a quick visit, a long walk, or extra companionship while you’re away, I have the time and flexibility to make sure they are well cared for and comfortable. I do not take care for animals in my home due to two cats already at home. In your home, I will be respectful of your space and the time that I have with your pet
About: Hey all, I have been hosting dogs on Rover on and off for almost 10 years now. My dog Camden really enjoys hanging out with pups and meeting new buddies! I work in DC Monday-Wednesday, but the rest of the week I’m available for boarding and drop ins/walks. I have experience with a ton of breeds, ages, and sizes of pups and am always happy to take them on adventures! I work remotely and have a fenced yard, allowing me to provide supervision pretty much the entire day. My own dog Camden is very dog friendly and would love any friend to play with, inside or outside. I have my own dog as well who loves meeting new friends. I would be happy to take our dogs on group walks or hikes, and have my own backyard for them to play whenever they want.

About: I’ve had dogs in my life for as long as I can remember! My pets have ranged from a 15 pound cockapoo to a 180 pound American Mastiff! I am a very gentle and caring person with a flexible mindset and happy to help where I can! I am a teacher who is on summer break! My schedule is fully open and ready to help at any time. I can be very flexible with my schedule and I am ambitious and ready to work. I have cared for dogs in multiple different home environments. I am comfortable with putting your pet in a crate if desired and spent my whole life walking my dogs as well. I’ve also worked with all ages and dogs and have administered medicine, trained dogs, and of course played with them all day long!
“Amazing job taking care of my little buddy! I am Definitely going to use his services again even the time to give my dog some extra water when his bowl was empty. I came home and my dog was happy..”

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have always loved caring for them. I grew up with two dogs: a 12 year old Golden Doodle and a 4 year old Cavapoo, so I’m very familiar with both senior dogs and younger, energetic pups. While they are my family dogs and not currently living with me, I’ve been involved in their care my entire life, often handling walks and daily responsibilities, especially when my parents were at work and I took on most of their care. I’m comfortable with walks, feedings, playtime, and making sure dogs feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I treat every dog like my own and enjoy getting to know their unique personalities! I work in the office Monday through Wednesday from 9:00–4:30, so my availability is a bit more limited during those days. However, I’m available during evenings on those days for walks or drop-ins. I work from home on Thursdays and Fridays, which allows me to be much more flexible throughout the day for pet care. Weekends can vary for me—I tend to be busy Friday evenings and Saturdays, but Sundays are generally open and a good day for me to provide care. I follow the owner’s instructions closely to ensure pets are comfortable and following their normal routine. During walks, I focus on safe leash handling and choosing routes based on each dog’s needs. For drop-in visits, I provide feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, and lots of play time of course. I always respect clients’ homes and my goal is to keep pets happy, cared for, and at ease while their owners are away.

“Luke walked Tommy and he was absolutely fantastic. His notes and pictures after every walk were something we genuinely looked forward to each day. He kept us updated the whole time and was wonderfully communicative throughout. Tommy loved him from the start. Genuinely excited every time he came by, and the two of them quickly became real friends. You could tell Tommy had such a great time on their walks together. We can’t wait to work with Luke again. Tommy truly has a friend in him!”

I have experience with young, elderly, shy, hyper, temper-mental, and loving cats. Please let me know the general attitude of your pet beforehand so I can prepare accordingly! I have a bit less experience with dogs but I'm so down for a long walk or throwing a toy around the park! I currently work as a marine biologist engineer, I work with many different kinds of animals by maintaining their water quality and exhibit health. Rest assured your pet will be well cared for if I'm their sitter! My work schedule is 8am-4pm Monday through Friday. I work the first weekend of every month and will be unavailable to book for those days! If there are any further questions please don't hesitate to reach out! I'm currently working full time until 4pm Monday-Friday (and one weekend a month) so I have plenty of time to check on your pets before you get home from work! Trust assured that your pets will be well cared for. Your pet will be monitored the entire time I'm with them so no accidents happen! About: I provide dependable, patient, and personalized care for every pet I watch. I am especially attentive to routines, feeding schedules, and behavioral cues to ensure each pet feels safe and comfortable. I have experience caring for energetic puppies who need structure and consistency, as well as senior pets who require a gentler approach and close monitoring. I understand the importance of exercise, enrichment, and positive reinforcement. What sets me apart is my attention to detail, clear communication, and genuine love for animals. I treat every pet like family, providing updates, photos, and peace of mind while you are away. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine because I work from home, which allows me to be fully present and attentive throughout the day. I am able to provide consistent supervision, regular potty breaks, walks, and playtime without long gaps in between. Since I am already structured with feeding schedules, morning and evening walks, and enrichment time for my own dog, adding another pet into my routine feels natural and organized. I also have home cameras for added security and peace of mind, which allows me to monitor pets even if I step into another room or step out briefly. This setup helps ensure pets are always safe, comfortable, and well cared for. In my home, safety and structure always come first. I maintain a clean, pet friendly environment with clear boundaries and supervision at all times. Because I work from home, pets are never left unattended for long periods. I also have home cameras for added monitoring and peace of mind. One of the biggest advantages of my space is access to a fenced indoor dog park. This allows dogs to safely run, play, and burn energy in a secure, controlled environment regardless of weather. Playtime is always supervised, and I separate pets as needed based on temperament, size, and energy level. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their established routines closely, including feeding schedules, medication instructions, walk routes, and house rules. I prioritize consistency so pets feel secure and comfortable in their familiar space. Trust is everything to me. I provide regular updates, photos, and clear communication so you always know your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for.
About: I’ve had cats since I was 7 years old, and now being 23 I’ve had years and years of experience with taking care of them. Family members and friends always reach out to me to take care of pets while they’re away, and I love getting to be with their animals as well as my own every day. I’ve fed, walked, and played with dogs of all sizes and I’m willing to do any extra care a dog may need as well. I’ve fed, played with, cleaned the litter boxes of, bathed, and taken care of sick cats many times, and I am of course willing to do any extra care. I have administered medication in the form of pills, liquid, and injections to cats as well as in the form of pills to dogs. I have given my own cats eye drops and ear drops when they were sick as well. Even though I do not have dogs myself, I have had a lot of experience walking dogs of different ages, sizes, temperaments, and energy levels as well as caring for them full time while their owners are away. I am available most mornings and evenings (and possibly mid day) and will be as flexible as I can to work with you and your pet’s schedule! I love to play with the pets I take care of after I am sure to do everything the owners requested me to do such as feeding, walking, cleaning, or anything else that may be needed. I know that pets have a hard time being away from their owners (mine always do) and that a little extra love and fun with the person taking care of them will always make them feel better. I want pets to trust me and see me as another figure who cares for them and makes them happy.

Emma is the BEST!! She takes great care of my dog Levi and I feel at ease knowing that she is the one visiting him. She always spends extra time giving him pets and treats, and she also sends wonderful report cards for me to view. So grateful for Emma! Cannot recommend her enough.

We are so fortunate to have found Sarah on Rover! We could not have asked for a more patient and understanding friend to our Tilley, and highly recommend her for anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy sitter! Great communication and flexibility during her visit, would definitely book her again!

Christine was great with our dog, Ron!!! He bonded so well with her and she had him on his schedule everyday. Our dog needs a ton of attention and Christine was great for that. She cuddled Ron when he needed and played with him regularly! We take our dog out 3-4 times a day and Christine hit everything on the mark. Her communication with me was very quick and helpful. I highly recommend Christine for quick visits or long trips! She can work around most schedules and leaves you peace of mind for your pet. Thanks again Christine! Will definitely be reaching out again in the future!
