From energetic puppies needing structure and training to senior dogs requiring extra patience, meds, and mobility support—I’ve done it all. I cared for my own beloved pup for 17 wonderful years, so I understand how much trust it takes to leave your furry family member in someone else’s hands. Whether it’s administering medication, reinforcing good behavior, or just offering lots of love and attention, your dog’s well-being is always my top priority. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine, and my flexible schedule means I’m available when you need me—whether that’s early morning walks, midday drop-ins, or overnight stays. I prioritize each pet’s unique needs and can easily adjust my day to fit their routine. Whether your dog thrives on a strict schedule or just needs some extra attention and playtime, I’m here to provide consistent, loving care whenever it’s needed. I welcome your pet into my home as part of the family—because they deserve nothing less! I’m located between two beautiful parks, perfect for daily walks and playtime. My schedule is flexible, and I always tailor care to match your pet’s usual routine, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and right at home.

“Nina is the absolute BEST! I feel so relaxed when I am out of town knowing Nina is taking such good care of my girl. She sends a nice note on the visit and lots of pictures. It makes me happy to see all the love my cat gets when I’m away. 👍🏼👍🏼”

“Lucy always does a great job, spending time so our cat Jackson isn't so lonely. There must be something about her since Jackson is particular but he comes out for her.”

“Jessica has been amazing - she’s very easy to work with, pays attention to details, and even goes above and beyond. Our dogs love her and we will look forward to having her watch our dogs again!”

“Tanner is such a great sitter and we feel lucky to have found him. He is so reliable and capable, and we felt like he could handle whatever came up with his calm and sensible manner. Not to mention, he is an overall nice person and exactly the type of fellow we would trust with our home, plants, and beloved cat.”
“James was great with my cat! I knew Lollipop was in good hands when I had to leave for a week and all of the pictures made me feel so much better about leaving. He was also flexible with my changing schedule which was much appreciated!”

About: I'm a life-long dog owner and have had cats much of my life. Years of volunteering at animal shelters has given me real, hands-on confidence with all kinds of animals and temperaments, including the reactive and anxious ones who need a calm, patient hand. I'm comfortable administering medication, managing mobility limitations, special needs, and the kind of quirks that make pet parents nervous to leave instructions for a new sitter. I also have advanced training for working with dogs with behavior challenges, training protocols, dog and cat body language, and I am currently in the process of getting certified in pet first aid and CPR. No matter the animal, the basics stay the same: sticking to their routine, and sending updates and check-ins so you're never wondering how things are going. Your pet is in calm, capable hands. I work from home and am available for walks and drop-ins in the mornings and evenings, and midday as my schedule allows. I’m also available for house sitting. Have needs outside of this? Let’s talk! If the travel distance exceeds my daily service range, additional fees may apply. For walks and drop-ins, I keep things low-key: familiar environment, familiar routine, minimal disruption to their day. For house sitting, I stay in your home and keep your pet's routine exactly as you left it. I treat your space with the same care I'd want someone to treat mine. Got a weird routine, like needing to fake a 5-star meal, or finding the perfect blade of grass for a potty break? Tell me about it, I'll make it happen.
About: I’ve lived with dogs and cats my entire life. I currently have two perfect one eyed cats and I couldn’t be more obsessed with. I love dogs of all sizes and adore cats. I currently work from home, so my day to day is pretty flexible. We can workout whatever schedule you need that your pet is most used to! Whatever your pet needs, I will take care of! It’s as if you were never gone! I’m active, so long walks are not a problem
“If you need a cat sitter… JESSICA IS THE ONLY BEST/PERFECT option!! As someone who was very scared to leave my cat alone for the first time and not knowing anything about this app, I was very fortunate on finding Jessica to babysit my cat while I was away! She not only comes in to do her job, but she also makes sure to create a bond and play with your little friend! I have nothing but amazing things to say about her! She is the BEST!!! If anyone is worried about communication (like me) you have NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT! Jessica would send me photos of my cat and a summary of how their days went very fast! And if I had any questions or concerns, she would always reply back ASAP! Jessica is the ONE to take care of your little friends! (:”

About: Leaving your cat in good hands while you travel can be stressful — I've been there! To me, the key is simple: good communication, attention to your cat's unique needs, and lots of love and respect. Because no two cats are alike, and yours deserves care that reflects exactly who they are. With many years of experience living with cats, I bring both knowledge and genuine love to every cat I care for. Right now I have a very flexible schedule, which means your cat gets my full attention — no rushing, no stress, just quality time and consistent care every day. Every visit starts with taking care of the essentials — feeding, water, and litter. After that, I follow your cat's lead: if they're in the mood to play, we play; if they'd rather just have some quiet company, I'm there for that too. No cat should feel lonely while you're away.
“Thank you for taking such good care of my Girl while I was very far away! We have never been apart for that long and I was so much less worried about her knowing she was in good hands.”

About: I’ve had dogs in my life for as long as I can remember! My pets have ranged from a 15 pound cockapoo to a 180 pound American Mastiff! I am a very gentle and caring person with a flexible mindset and happy to help where I can! I am a teacher who is on summer break! My schedule is fully open and ready to help at any time. I can be very flexible with my schedule and I am ambitious and ready to work. I have cared for dogs in multiple different home environments. I am comfortable with putting your pet in a crate if desired and spent my whole life walking my dogs as well. I’ve also worked with all ages and dogs and have administered medicine, trained dogs, and of course played with them all day long!
“Alex was amazing and took great care of my cat. She was very responsive and was able to check on everything I thought of at the last minute. He was suffering from a slight eye infection, and she monitored it and made sure he was making progress in getting better. I would definitely book her services again.”

About: Hi everyone! I am Gabbie, and I am new to Rover. My whole life I have always had a pet! I grew up with dogs, cats, hamsters, and fish. I currently have two cats that I adore, but I would love to walk some dogs in my free time! I am an avid volunteer at a local animal shelter and walk dogs there every weekend. I am experienced in giving medicine to pets as well :) I am currently in school, so many of my afternoons are free for dog walking and activities! I would love to fill my schedule with your pup! I will be sure to adapt well to whatever environment your pup is in, to ensure their safety as well as my own! Mostly, I will be walking dogs so I will be sure to take all necessary precautions to keep them safe!
“Catherine took wonderful care of Bella. When a few unexpected issues came up, Catherine handled them calmly and efficiently, keeping us informed and problem-solving without hesitation. Bella was comfortable, happy, and well cared for when we returned, which says everything. Reliable, attentive, and genuinely caring, Catherine gave us peace of mind and earned our full trust. We would gladly recommend her to anyone who wants their pet treated like family.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Locust Point
My wife and I have had Sylvia petsit for us a few times now, from a couple days to a week or more. Everytime she is thoughtful, communicative, and addresses our wide array of pets needs with the utmost professionalism. Having 3 cats and a few reptiles with different care routines means we ask a lot but she always steps up to the plate. Sylvia really goes above and beyond and we couldn’t recommend her more!

Sophia was so attentive and sweet to my two cats! This was my first time leaving my cats alone for the weekend but they were in such good hands with Sophia. She made sure they had plenty of food and water and spent extra time petting them so they wouldn’t get lonely - I highly recommend her to any other cat parents out there!

We couldn't have asked for a better cat sitter! We have two cats, and one of them requires medication, so finding someone we could completely trust was incredibly important. From the very beginning, Nina was punctual, reliable, and consistently communicated after every visit, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were out of town. One of our cats is very shy and usually keeps their distance from anyone new, but somehow she managed to earn their trust and even become friends! Seeing updates and photos of our normally unsocial cat feeling comfortable and interacting with her was amazing and reassured us that they were receiving genuine care and attention. This is, without question, the most comfortable we've ever felt leaving our cats while traveling. Knowing they were in such capable, compassionate hands allowed us to truly enjoy our time away without worrying. We wholeheartedly recommend Nina to anyone looking for a dependable, caring, and exceptional pet sitter. We will absolutely be booking with her again!
