“When Holly came to deliver the key, my little dog Joanie knew the sound of their vehicle, and was very excited and happy to see her! Joanie is never happy to see anyone, except me when I come home. You cannot get a better reference than that:)”

“Nina was fantastic with our cat while we were away. She was punctual, communicative, friendly and thoughtful with her Rover report cards. We didn't have to worry at all while Kitty was under Nina's care because we knew she was being very well taken care of. I *HIGHLY* recommend Nina's care for any pets! Will 100% be booking her again.”

“We are so lucky to have found Paula, she's an absolute blessing! She is competent, reliable, responsive, and just overall a kind and lovely human! It was such a relief to know our furballs were in good hands while we were away. I cannot recommend Paula more highly, and we will definitely be using her again.”

“One thing I never have to do is worry about my best friend, for I know he is in good hands. No matter the weather, she is always there for a drop in visit for my little buddy. I appreciate everything and all the things Connor does. She is truly a great big help and makes my life easier and stress free.”

“She is the BEST! I could tell my dog really like her. She came and play with the dog and does everything as instructed. Will definitely book with her again. Thank you”

“Leah is the best! On top of taking care of my skittish and curmudgeonly cats perfectly, she takes the best photos and has a great sense of humor. I would trust her with my kitties again anytime.”

“Sophia was great! She was available last minute to help check on our dogs when we already had plans to be out of town. The dogs seemed to really like her and she updated us with details on every visit! I would 100% ask to book Sophia again!”

“Shannon is amazing! Great with communication throughout the entire process and detail oriented to make sure your pet is as safe and healthy as possible. It was the first time I left my pups with someone who wasn't immediate family, but Shannon's messages and care put me immediately at ease! My dogs and myself highly recommend Shannon and she will definitely be our first choice in the future.”

“Courtney is wonderful with my fur baby! As long as she’s available, I will continue to book with her! She sends updates, treats my pets like her own and all around a great sitter!! Very blessed to have found her!”

“Isabel was a great sitter to our two kitties! Great communication, very timely and our cats, even our hard to please one, trusted and enjoyed their time with them! Would highly recommend :)”

“Evelyn was amazing with my cat, who can definitely be a little persnickety. She was so calm and chill, even when I explained that Pina can bite a little if she’s grumpy— Evelyn took it all in stride, and I’m confident she would be similarly good with other finicky pets! She has a huge heart and clearly just loves animals. When she checked in on my nugget, she sent wonderful pictures of their playtime while I was away, and even washed out the dirty food bowls she had replaced. She was so communicative both ahead of the visit, to plan it, and afterwards too. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again, and you shouldn’t either!”

About: Hi everyone! I am Gabbie, and I am new to Rover. My whole life I have always had a pet! I grew up with dogs, cats, hamsters, and fish. I currently have two cats that I adore, but I would love to walk some dogs in my free time! I am an avid volunteer at a local animal shelter and walk dogs there every weekend. I am experienced in giving medicine to pets as well :) I am currently in school, so many of my afternoons are free for dog walking and activities! I would love to fill my schedule with your pup! I will be sure to adapt well to whatever environment your pup is in, to ensure their safety as well as my own! Mostly, I will be walking dogs so I will be sure to take all necessary precautions to keep them safe!

About: I have grown up with two dogs throughout my entire life, with the second being my own dog I rescued a little over a year and half ago! I provide fully for him. He had to be house trained and potty trained by me and is the sweetest pupper I know, just a little shy sometimes (biased of course)! I’m currently working part time so my availability is almost completely open and my schedule allows for me to take same day or last minute requests! I have always lived in apartments, so when I take my dog on walks we walk around my neighbor or we go to the dog park usually 2-4 times a week. I have crate trained my dog his whole life. He goes into his crate anytime I am out of the house so I have no problem with having to crate a dog. I am able to play with, walk, or entertain a clients dog in any way that is most comfortable for what they usually do with their own doggy!
About: I have spent my entire life surrounded by animals and have over a decade of experience as the primary caretaker for my own senior Pittie mix. This personal journey has given me a deep understanding of senior dog needs, “big personality” breeds, and the importance of patient, consistent care. Over the years, I’ve served as a dedicated dog walker and sitter for friends and neighbors, adapting to a wide variety of temperaments and energy levels. I pride myself on providing a safe, loving, and attentive environment for every pet I meet. Baltimore city local with a flexible WFH schedule! I am available for weekday walks and drop-ins throughout the day. Because I work from home, I can offer consistent timing and am often available for last-minute needs or recurring midday visits. I’d love to help make your workday easier! Safety is my top priority! Inside your home, I am extremely respectful of your space and privacy, ensuring doors are locked and your pet is safely secured before I leave. I’m also happy to provide photo updates through the app so you have complete peace of mind.
Canton pet parents share their Rover experiences
Rebecca continues to put our minds at easy with every trip we take. She is exceptional and attentive and caring. We know our cats are in the best hands everytime. This last trip was slightly different because we had some health scares for 2 of our cats before we left and we needed extra assistance. Rebecca had short notice for the extra level of care needed and she was super responsive and reassured us right away. We are so grateful for her.
Writing a repeat review for Nancy. She is the best sitter we have ever had for our cat, who can be very timid around strangers. Nancy was able to bond with our cat and gain her trust (also demonstrating the time, effort, and professionalism she puts into her Rover jobs), and became our go-to sitter for the past year. We are moving and wish we could take Nancy with us! Would highly recommend Nancy to any cat-owner!

Kaia has looked after my two cats several times now. They both absolutely love her and have a great time with her - she even manages to get my nervous/grumpy male cat to play! I love reading about their antics together in Kaia’s cute and detailed reports. Reliable, professional, and kind. Thank you Kaia!

Sierra is wonderful! She asked a lot of thorough questions ahead of our trip and was flexible with her timing. Sierra was very attentive and spent a lot of time playing with our cats, who were thrilled with her company based on the numerous photos she sent throughout. Highly recommend!!!

Absolutely amazing! Easy communication, friendly, and reliable. Went above and beyond doing things we didn’t even ask for like bringing in our mail. Most importantly my kitties were safe and happy under her care, loved the beautiful photo updates she sent us too!

Holly & Robert were great with our dog, Luna! Lu can be reactive and anxious but Holly and Robert handled her with kindness and patience, communicating thoroughly during their drop-in visit. This was also a last minute ask so I appreciate them being able to step-in when we needed them. Thank you both!

Sarah took excellent care of my four cats, even my shyest ones felt comfortable enough to come out and play with her! She sent lots of excellent pictures! I was able to relax and enjoy my weekend knowing she was looking after my babies. Will definitely book with her again!

Daniel was able to help us out last minute with watching our dog over the weekend. We have a very timid dog who can be difficult to walk if he’s scared and Daniel was able to do a meet and greet and was able to gently connect with him and handle him over the weekend without any problems. He asked a lot of specific questions during the meet and greet in order to best care for our pup and sent a lot of updates throughout his visits.

I truly can't speak highly enough of the experience I had with Lexie today. My dog has very bad separation anxiety and was not settling enough for me to go to work, and I contacted her with like less than two hours until I needed her to drop-in, and she was so prompt in responding. She handled my dog with so much care, and was extremely communicative and was so so sweet! She sent a bunch of pictures and was giving me updates throughout her time with him, it made me feel so much better. She also followed all of my instructions for handling him thoroughly. The sheer relief I felt knowing my puppy was being taken care of and was not alone to freak out all day was beyond words, and I cannot thank her enough for her help today and on such short notice!!
