About: I have extensive experience caring for dogs along with a genuine passion. I believe dogs can be a life changing companion that benefit greatly from social and physical enrichment. I have a universalistic philosophy, I believe everything is inherently the same/equal at its core. Taking the perspective of a dog leads me to believe pets can be under appreciated or even neglected due to the busyness of life. Dogs are also very therapeutic for me; this combination of factors lead me to have a genuine and enthusiastic approach for canine care. My mother purchased dogs for emotional support, although she had a hard time supporting them in return. After noticing this, I decided to take care of them personally. I took care of all five of her dogs as well as my friend’s elderly Labrador. I would make them fresh dog food every week, walk them almost daily, take them to the dog park, groom/bathe them, teach them tricks, and show them love. I believe this inadvertently benefited my mom as well. As the dogs had a greater capacity to provide the grounded emotional support she needed. Providing this care didn’t feel burdensome at all, instead it felt mutually beneficial. With this background, I feel confident in my ability to bring a positive impact to your pets life. Not currently working, so I would love to take care of dogs when the owners are out at work. This would allow them to receive nourishment in times of inaction. I like to always be around the pet if possible. Petting and playing naturally occur, whilst keeping alarms on my phone so I do not forget any potty breaks or meal times. I also like to give the dog at least a 10 minute walk to use the bathroom so they don’t feel rushed. I have a minimalist phone and would never engage in any form of substances while watching a dog. Therefore, I will have minimal distractions and ample availability to properly care for your canine companion.

About: I have always had a dog in my household since 8 years old from my own to siblings, I have seen it from every angle. From in my home to dog sitting I love dogs to the core of me . I work full time Monday - Friday 8-5 . But after work and on weekends I love walking around my neighborhood and getting out in the sun so this will be the perfect opportunity to do both things. When entering anyone’s home that is not mine , I love to abide by all the set rules given to me and stick to them. About: Friends and family know I will always jump at an opportunity to help out and spend time with a pet, and I've spent a lot of time taking care of both my own and other's dogs and cats. I grew up training and running with my family dog, and now I have my own little kitten who is my best friend! I am a master's student at Johns Hopkins with a pretty flexible schedule. My classes are primarily mid-day T-F, and I am available most other times for walks, feeding, or just a check in! Your pet your rules - I always like to make sure their environment is safe and free of hazards and accident prone things, but any additional things you might need I am happy to accommodate. I will always double check that their space is safe when I leave your home!
