About: I truly believe pets are part of the family—and when they’re in my care, that’s exactly how I treat them. ❤️ I have experience with dogs of all sizes and personalities, including walking, drop-in visits, and caring for them in both my home and their own homes. I love getting to know each dog and figuring out what makes them happy. Whether they want to play, go for a good walk, get lots of attention, or simply curl up beside me, I’m happy to follow their lead. I’m an active, engaged pet sitter and love playing, talking to, and spending time with my furry friends. Once they’re in my care, they become part of my family. I enjoy playing with cats too, and giving them attention, but I also understand that many cats are happiest doing their own thing. I’m perfectly comfortable letting a cat have their space while keeping a watchful eye and making sure they’re safe, comfortable, fed, and cared for. My home is smoke-free, clean, calm, and pet-friendly. I keep food safely stored in cupboards and maintain a clean and sanitized environment. I’m mindful about keeping floors and common areas clean and making sure pets have a safe, comfortable place to relax. I have lengthy experience with large aquarium set ups with fish, turtles, geckos and lizards. Most importantly, I’m dependable, attentive, and respectful of your pet’s individual routine and personality. I’ll follow your instructions carefully, keep you updated while you’re away, and treat your home and belongings with the same care I would want someone to give mine. Whether your pet needs a long walk, a playmate, a quiet companion, medication reminders, a cozy place to stay, or simply someone to keep them company—I’m happy to help. Your pets aren’t just pets to me. They’re little members of the family, and they deserve to be treated that way. 🐾 P.S. Rover is my first experience charging for pet care and that’s why I don’t have many jobs posted or reviews. Previously I traded services or offered free. I have been a Trusted Housesitters member for over 6 years. Meet n Greets are required for first time services. Please allow the necessary time frames. My current availability is as such: Flexibility during the day/evening for regular and drop in-walks, drop-in visits, pet care, 7 days a week. Holidays: Same availability and services at a modified fee. I’m also happy to care for pets in my home for doggy daycare care or boarding when the timing is a good fit. I know pets do best with consistency, so I’ll work with you to understand their normal routine and make sure they get the attention, exercise, and care they need. As my schedule changes, I will update my availability as quickly as I can. When you leave your pet in someone else’s care, trust matters. I take that responsibility seriously. Your pet’s safety and well-being will always come first. I’ll follow your instructions carefully, stick to their normal routines as much as possible, and pay attention to the little things that help them feel comfortable and secure. I’m also happy to send updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is doing well while you’re away. I treat your home with the same respect I would want someone to show mine. I’ll keep things clean and secure, make sure doors and gates are properly closed, and never take shortcuts when it comes to your pet’s safety. I’m dependable, attentive, and committed to doing what I say I’ll do. If something unexpected comes up, I’ll communicate with you rather than making assumptions. Most importantly, I understand that your pet isn’t “just a pet.” They’re family. My goal is for you to come home to a happy, comfortable pet—and to feel confident that they were cared for with kindness, patience, and genuine attention while you were gone. About: Hey, I'm Stephanie! I'm a dog walker and pet visitor based in Baltimore. I walk dogs of all sizes and energy levels, and I also do drop-in visits for cats—basically any furry friend you have at home. I've been around pets my whole life. I’m currently a cat mom to two very energetic kittens and helped train my father’s boxers. I volunteered at an animal shelter in Washington state for years until recently relocating to Baltimore. I'm patient, reliable, and great with anxious or high-energy dogs. I'm available Monday through Friday from 7am to 2pm. I live in Charles Village and work from home, so I can fit walks or visits into my schedule easily. Let's make sure your pet gets the attention they deserve! My sons bus picks him up at 6:15 am so I have the entire morning and afternoon to care for your pet until about 2pm I understand every animal is different so I’m willing to be as hands on or laid back as your pet needs me to be and I’m very understanding towards anxious pets that need me to build their trust and affection

About: I have extensive experience caring for dogs along with a genuine passion. I believe dogs can be a life changing companion that benefit greatly from social and physical enrichment. I have a universalistic philosophy, I believe everything is inherently the same/equal at its core. Taking the perspective of a dog leads me to believe pets can be under appreciated or even neglected due to the busyness of life. Dogs are also very therapeutic for me; this combination of factors lead me to have a genuine and enthusiastic approach for canine care. My mother purchased dogs for emotional support, although she had a hard time supporting them in return. After noticing this, I decided to take care of them personally. I took care of all five of her dogs as well as my friend’s elderly Labrador. I would make them fresh dog food every week, walk them almost daily, take them to the dog park, groom/bathe them, teach them tricks, and show them love. I believe this inadvertently benefited my mom as well. As the dogs had a greater capacity to provide the grounded emotional support she needed. Providing this care didn’t feel burdensome at all, instead it felt mutually beneficial. With this background, I feel confident in my ability to bring a positive impact to your pets life. Not currently working, so I would love to take care of dogs when the owners are out at work. This would allow them to receive nourishment in times of inaction. I like to always be around the pet if possible. Petting and playing naturally occur, whilst keeping alarms on my phone so I do not forget any potty breaks or meal times. I also like to give the dog at least a 10 minute walk to use the bathroom so they don’t feel rushed. I have a minimalist phone and would never engage in any form of substances while watching a dog. Therefore, I will have minimal distractions and ample availability to properly care for your canine companion.

About: Friends and family know I will always jump at an opportunity to help out and spend time with a pet, and I've spent a lot of time taking care of both my own and other's dogs and cats. I grew up training and running with my family dog, and now I have my own little kitten who is my best friend! I am a master's student at Johns Hopkins with a pretty flexible schedule. My classes are primarily mid-day T-F, and I am available most other times for walks, feeding, or just a check in! Your pet your rules - I always like to make sure their environment is safe and free of hazards and accident prone things, but any additional things you might need I am happy to accommodate. I will always double check that their space is safe when I leave your home!

I’m new to Baltimore and new to Rover, and I’d love to use my skills to explore the city with your pet! I’m currently working part-time, so I’ll have plenty of time for your pets! I am also free most evenings after 5:30, and I’m open to overnight stays. I currently cannot offer hosting pets in my home, but when I care for your pet, I truly care.
