About: Hi there! I'm Sydney and I'd love to spend some time with your pet! I've been an animal lover for as long as I can remember and deeply miss having a pet of my own. I got my first family pet, a cat, when I was 5 years old, and since then have had dogs, guinea pigs, and birds. I have been trusted to pet sit for neighbors and friends since I was around 10 years old. Throughout the years, I have gained experience taking care of many breeds of dogs, puppies, senior dogs, kittens, and senior cats. I have experience administering some medications to both cats and dogs as well. I am reliable and trustworthy, and will love your pet like my own and certainly would be happy to take plenty of cute pictures of them to send to you while you're away! I am a freelance musician and music teacher who is new to Baltimore. In addition to this, I work a part-time lifeguarding/swim instructor job. With this being said, my schedule is variable and pretty flexible. This leaves a lot of time for me to care for your pets. Whether it be walking, playing, feeding, giving cuddles, or just keeping them company, I can almost surely find a find to work it into my schedule! I will be sure to follow any instructions given when taking care of your pet in your home. This may include medications, feeding schedule, walking schedule, potty schedule, or anything else that will keep your pet happy, safe, and comfortable. I will aim to keep their routine as close to normal as I possibly can.

I've raised three puppies from their chaotic early weeks all the way to well-mannered adulthood, and I've spent just as many years around cats, from skittish rescues to laid-back lap cats who never leave your side. About: I've had dogs my whole life, and began caring for other people's pets when I was in high school. I regularly cared for the director of the Michigan Humane Society's pets. I was a Baltimore City School teacher for the last 15 years and incorporated my love for animals in my classroom. I did mini lessons with my students on humane education, and engaged my students in rescue work within their community. I left teaching last year to expand the business my husband and I own and run, The Dog Chef. We are becoming a full service pet store with dog sitting, daycare and dog walking options.
