I’m Serena, a dependable and experienced pet sitter with over 10 years of experience caring for pets and homes. I grew up in a home full of cats and 1 dog and was a proud cat owner for many years. Since then, caring for other people’s pets has become something I truly enjoy. Friends, neighbors, and travelers regularly trust me to care for their pets while they’re away. I understand that pets are family, and I always work to make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and relaxed in their own environment. About: I’ve taken care of both dogs and cats since I was a kid. I grew up with a tabby cat who was with the family for 16 years. I also have a small terrier mix named Jackson who I’ve raised since he was 8 weeks old—he’s 9 now! I also have my baby girl Nestle, who is a 2 year old aussiemo mix. She loves to play, cuddle, EAT, and go on long walks. She also loves to play with other animals and would welcome your pet with open paws! I currently work remotely, so I am home and available to care for your pet everyday. I take my own dog out every 2 hours for fresh air & a potty break. We also get some fun time in between that with the on-site dog park my apartment has. I have plenty of space in my house for pets to reside comfortably. I also have room to crate them if needed. There is a fenced in back yard where I live that will also be great for some fun running around and zoomies

About: I've had dogs my whole life, and began caring for other people's pets when I was in high school. I regularly cared for the director of the Michigan Humane Society's pets. I was a Baltimore City School teacher for the last 15 years and incorporated my love for animals in my classroom. I did mini lessons with my students on humane education, and engaged my students in rescue work within their community. Rachel was awesome and went above and beyond. We appreciated that she sought out one of our kitties to make sure she ate and was happy, and even did us a solid by securing a piece of luggage that we forgot. Handoff of keys and garage opener was seamless, and our kitties were both happy on our return.
Sunshine was incredibly communicative, followed every guideline we gave, and make sure our girl was happy and healthy. When she got a cut on her paw (through absolutely no fault of Sunshine), they did a great job of keeping us informed, sending us photos, and treating the cut to the best of their ability. The fact that they have insurance for any accidents or illnesses a pet might face in their care is also fantastic. We would be extremely comfortable entrusting our dog into Sunshine's care in the future.
Pak Ki was amazing and I would highly recommend her! I was leaving for the weekend and my original sitter fell through relatively last minute, but Pak Ki was super helpful and was even able to visit for a meet and greet with the cat before I left. She was prompt and detailed in her communications and was able to administer my cat's twice daily medicine while I was away. Thank you again!
Brianna was a wonderful sitter from start to finish. She communicated clearly and often, sending updates so I never had to wonder how things were going. She followed all of my instructions carefully and paid attention to the details that matter for my fur baby. She was kind and gentle with my cat, and my nervous, shy cat took to her right away. It was clear my cat felt safe and comfortable in her care, which meant everything to me while I was away. I came home to a happy, healthy kitty and a well-kept home. I would absolutely book Brianna again and recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable sitter.
Alex was absoltuely amazing! She went above and beyond to make sure my kitties were doing well and were comfortable. She kept their litter box super clean and was always trying to find them when they were being shy to make sure they were doing good. I also very much appreciate the daily photos and thorough updates!
I highly recommend Nataly, she was amazing with caring for my cat Mango! Communication was excellent and I could tell Mango felt safe and had fun with her. She sent lots of photos and updates, and there was a small issue that came up which she handled very quickly and calmly and kept me updated the whole time. I would love to have her cat-sit again sometime!
