“Lindsay was absolutely amazing! She was on time, took excellent care of the girls and they absolutely loved her, and extremely communicative. We will definitely be using Lindsay again to take care of our pups! Lindsay you are the best, thank you!”

About: Hi, I’m Michael! I’ve spent the past few years helping care for my stepmother’s pets whenever she needed an extra hand. At first, I didn’t think much of it — but over time, I realized how much I truly enjoyed it. That passion inspired me to start offering my pet care services to others! Here’s a little about my experience: • Feeding pets on a regular schedule • Walking and cleaning up after them • Administering medications (pill form) • Refilling water and ensuring hydration • Spending quality time playing, relaxing, and keeping them company I treat every pet like family, and I’m committed to making sure they feel happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. I am currently a college student at UMBC and work at a bar on Thursday nights. As a result, my availability is primarily on Fridays and weekends. I am generally free during these times unless I have a prior commitment. I make it a priority to maintain a flexible schedule to provide attentive and reliable care for your pets When caring for pets, I carefully follow all instructions provided by the owner, making sure to stick to every detail. I take pride in being thorough and dependable because I believe every pet deserves the best care. My goal is to ensure that each pet feels safe, comfortable, and happy while their owner is away.
“Laura took such great care of our cat when we were away for a week! The photos and updates provided peace of mind so that we could enjoy our trip without worry. We will definitely be asking Laura to care for our kitty when we go out of town in the future!”
“We have been using Alina for a couple of years and are so sad to be moving and losing our sitter! Alina has been so helpful and has went out of her way to help us with two medically complex kitties. So much appreciation!”

“Grateful to Tabitha for taking care of Luna and Oliver while we were out of town! Luna was happy for the company and both cats were well taken care of during the visit.”

About: • 30 Minute Drop-Ins include potty breaks, feeding, playtime and of course plenty of snuggles to keep your pet happy and comfortable while you're away. I go above and beyond with detailed "report cards", daily photo and video updates, or regular check-ins via text or email. I take the time to build trust with nervous, shy, or reactive dogs rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. I work part-time from Saturday through Tuesday, but I'm completely free on my days off and on Monday mornings until 2:00 PM. I'd love to provide companionship and care during those times, ensuring your pet is never alone for long. I always match the owner’s exact routine to keep the pet calm. I provide tailored in-home care for all types of pets, ensuring they stay safe and happy in their own environment. I treat every home with respect and send regular updates so you have peace of mind
About: Note: I live in downtown Baltimore but work in Arlington, VA so housesits in DC/Virginia are ideal. Hi! I’m Serena, a dependable and experienced pet sitter with over 10 years of experience caring for pets and homes. I grew up in a home full of cats and 1 dog and was a proud cat owner for many years. Since then, caring for other people’s pets has become something I truly enjoy. Friends, neighbors, and travelers regularly trust me to care for their pets while they’re away. I understand that pets are family, and I always work to make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and relaxed in their own environment. My clients often tell me they appreciate my communication while they’re away. I make sure to send regular updates, photos, and videos so you can see how your pets are doing and feel confident they’re in good hands. Outside of pet sitting, I’m an avid gardener with over 30 indoor plants and a vegetable garden. Because of this, I’m also very comfortable caring for plants and maintaining a home while you’re traveling. At the moment, I am available full-time some weekdays during the day as well as some weekends. Please send me your dates, and I will check my calendar. My Care Style My goal is to keep your pet’s routine as normal and stress-free as possible. During visits I focus on: • feeding and fresh water • litter box or bathroom breaks • playtime and attention • monitoring behavior and wellbeing • maintaining routines your pet is used to I’m also happy to help with small household tasks such as watering plants, bringing in mail, and keeping your home tidy while you’re away.
“My first time using Jules and DEFINITELY NOT my last. Jules was responsive and interactive with both of my dogs. She played with Roman and rubbed Coco like the princess she is. We will be booking again.”

“Sam is the only person that we trust to watch our dogs and he does such an excellent job each time. We've been using Sam for years and plan to continue to use him in the future.”

“I was out of town this past weekend and this was the first time I tried Rover to find someone to care for my dogs. Malik was very patient and kind when it came to my somewhat “tedious” instructions when it came to making sure my dogs were properly taken care of. Everything I asked/requested he did it for me with no issue. My only reason why I am leaving you 4 stars and not 5 is because on the last visit, which was the longest/messiest one because of my puppy, I understand you were in a rush so you did leave but it feels like you just did a drop and go and did not complete the job. You left trash in the trash can that you used to help clean up the mess instead of throwing it out , my swiffer was laid face up with a dirty pad on it in my living room right where the puppy is which is a risk etc , and where I live there is very high mice activity that I have been trying to combat so this condition does not help at all with doing so and this alone causes me great anxiety. Literally other than the last bit of the visit I would absolutely book Malik again as my sitter in the future.”

About: I have been dog sitting with my father through Rover since I was 13. Now that I have moved out and have a cat, I am excited to care for your furry friends! I am a medical student on summer break currently working remotely. This gives me the flexibility to walk and take care of dogs most days. I am almost always in the area since I work from home. My previous experience with Rover has taught me the ins and outs of taking care of dogs and cats alike.
“Susan did a great job taking care of our two dogs while we were away. We felt totally confident in her ability to care for our pets. I highly recommend Susan for your pet care needs!”

About: Pets are family and they deserve to be treated that way! I want to provide that service as well and gain the trust of your animal as much as I do yours! I am currently a college student with breaks during the day to be able to care for your pet in between classes and in the evenings I follow instructions from the owner as to what needs to happen when. I take time to sit and pay with the pets in order to gain their trust

About: Hi! My name is Crystal! I am a huge animal lover! Growing up I always had dogs and cats. I even had a guinea pig and turtle. I also love to go hiking. I live a few minutes away from the State park and go often. The past 13 yrs I have had a cleaning business and I'm looking for a change and also trying to help my son start a pet sitting business of his own. I do try to have an open schedule and be pretty flexible because things do come up unexpectedly and I do my best to work with that. I will be serving the Baltimore and surrounding areas. I look forward to fulfilling the needs of you and your pet!
“Jamie was the best choice we could have made for our girls! She was so relaxed and easy going so our kitties took to her immediately! We will absolutely be using Jamie as our permanent house watcher from now on!”

“Brittney was my new puppy first dog sitter to checkin on her while I am at work. We had her for only one week. Brit did great with keeping her safe, feeding her, and some TLC. Brit also replied to my request for checkin on the same day request. Lots of pics and super nice with my new puppy!!”

This was our first time using Rover for our cat Walt. He is slow to warm up to people but Tabitha was great at the meet and greet just going at his pace and not forcing anything. She stopped by for 2 visits and by the second one he was less shy and approached her more easily. I would definitely recommend Tabitha as she was available on short notice and reliable.

I am a return customer. I made a mistake and missed the window to review on her previous visit, so I had to make sure to tell you guys how Jules is awesome. My dogs love her. Jules followed the instructions on feeding them perfectly so it’s like I never left. It’s so peaceful knowing my dogs are in good reliable care. I tell my friends to Book Jules.

Mel took perfect care of our Ety, communicated proactively before, during and after the booking, and thankfully was flexible and worked with me when I got the dates of our trip wrong. Great to have a cat sitter we can rely on near us in Halethorpe, will book again

The boys love her so much! I’ve had to use another sitter before when Lindsay wasn’t available, and the boys definitely have favorites — Lindsay is the favorite 💕 The photos she sends always showcase how much they adore her. Oscar is usually pretty shy, but he comes right out when Lindsay arrives 😏 Both boys are purring nonstop, and I can even see Max making happy biscuits in the photos. It genuinely warms my heart! I also recently had a little medication change with Oscar, and Lindsay was more than willing to medicate him every day without hesitation. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing they’re in such loving, capable hands. Litter boxes are always clean, she changes water dishes daily. 10/10 best sitter I have had.

Christine has been our go-to sitter for many of our recent trips, and she’s great! I really appreciate the detailed updates and the sweet photos we get while we’re away. The peace of mind we have when we book with Christine makes our trips that much more relaxing and enjoyable. Highly recommend her as a sitter!

Samantha has watched our dog twice now and she is always so fantastic with Tahlee! She sent photos of Tahlee while I was out of town! Samantha was able to work with our schedule even with her weekend already being booked out! Absolutely recommend Samantha to house sit your pets!
