“I met Gavin Witt about 15 years ago when he hired me to work on a community engagement project in Baltimore. I have had the privilege of working for--and with him--almost every year, and on a variety of projects, ever since. Gavin is incredibly invested and careful with any endeavor he takes upon himself; he is both a gracious leader and collaborator, whose attention to detail and follow-through is unmatched. He also has an ever-expanding heart and soul--he cares deeply about people (big and small!), with a great sense of patience and understanding. This care of humanity extends to other creatures, great and small and I have heard of his love of animals many times as well as his cheerful engagement with the pets of family and friends. While I live 45 minutes away from Gavin, I have two kids and our family has a dog, hamster, and bearded dragon (we, too, are lovers of all kinds of animals, great and small!). I am not exaggerating or embellishing when I say that if Gavin lived even 15 minutes closer to me, he would truly be THE FIRST person I called to babysit or pet sit for our beloved lots! I trust Gavin wholly and completely and know that whoever or whatever is in his care would--and will--be taken care of to the highest degree.”

About: I have grown up and lived with animals from a very young age, becoming very accustomed to training and watching after both dogs and cats. I also have experience taking care of beloved pets of neighbors, family, and friends from taking them on walks, feeding them, giving them medicine, cleaning litter boxes, playing with them, and showing them all the love! I have a full-time job in office, so most of my availability will be in the mornings, evenings, and throughout weekends. I am flexible however and can manage shorter drop-ins during the weekdays! I currently have two cats of my own and would be showing your animals the same love I show them. Whatever you need me to provide for them I can!

About: I’ve pet sat for neighbors and families I babysit for throughout high school and college. I was responsible for feeding and walking pets, and frequently let them out. I am a grad student, so I’m mostly available weekday evenings. I am also available Wednesdays 7am-11:30, Fridays 1-7pm, and anytime on Saturdays and Sundays. If dog/cat sitting in my own home, I have a small backyard, a private basement room to keep the pet separated from my roommates cats, and live in a walkable neighborhood.

She was wonderful and got along very well with Loulou who is a certified anti-social cat. She gave me daily updates and sent me pictures. Loulou sniffed me,said hi and refused to come back home when I went to pick him up. Goes to show how comfortable he felt even staying with Ananya for 1 week! About: . I developed a passion for animals, that i didn't know i had, until i became the operations manager at a full service Petco. I have experience grooming. I am an expert in pet nutrition and love the spirits of all animals. Your pets are my family. I want to love them like they are at home so they are not tense or stressed. I understand transitioning to new people and spaces can be nerve rattling to them. But i understand that and thats why im the best for your pet. I offer all services, anytime. I am currently transitioning into pet sitting and walking full time. The more clients I have the more availability I will have. I’m hoping to start a business with reoccurring customers. When I care for a pet , i am gentle and kind. I believe in positive reinforcement, and have some experience training. I will pay attention to cues , for behavior and potty breaks.
