Happy humans. I work from home so my schedule is flexible, which allows me to give dogs plenty of attention throughout the day. I also provide photo and video updates so you always know how your best friend is doing. My home features a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor play in a smoke-free environment. I care for every dog based on their individual routine, personality, and needs, whether they’re an energetic puppy or a laid-back senior. I’m comfortable administering oral medications, following crate-training routines, and maintaining the structure your dog is used to at home. I host only one family of pets at a time, allowing me to provide personalized attention without the stress of overcrowding. Dogs are left alone for no more than 1-2 hours a day.

About: 10 years fostering dogs with a local shelter—puppies, medical cases, reactive dogs, seniors, and the shy ones who need extra patience. My favorites are large dogs and blockheads (staffies, rotties, pit mixes), though a small dog sneaks in now and then (frenchies, Havanese, corgi, etc). I'm new to Rover but not to petsitting. I've cared for dogs from families who adopted my fosters for years, and I've been active on Wag! At my house, dogs get on the furniture, play hard, and get spoiled. Belly rubs, butt scratches, and ear massages come standard. My goal is to send your dog home happy, loved and tired. I'm self-employed and work from home when dogs stay with me. (My clients are used to dogs making an appearance during Zoom calls.) I'm a runner so long walks with dogs is just part of the fitness routine. I match my schedule to your dog's feeding and bathroom schedule. Every dog that comes here is treated with patience and care. Some arrive nervous, anxious, or unsure—maybe a potty accident in a new space, maybe hesitant to settle. My job is to help them feel safe, give them time to decompress, and meet them where they are. When they're ready, I'm here for play and snuggles. I have a fenced yard and my property backs up to a park. Dogs get regular walks, plus potty breaks. If a dog needs shorter, lower-key outings, we do on-leash trips to the park right behind the house. If your dog is reactive, we do backyard potty breaks and walk off-peak hours on a specific path to minimize potential sightings of other dogs.

I ask that all the owners give me a little bit of background about yourself that way I know that this dog is in a great and loving home. I currently have a 5month old German Shepard Puppy. Her name is Dime, she is about 50lbs, she is in level two of her pulpy class at Petco, she’s learning and picking up new lessons very swiftly and I can’t wait until she gets older. We were passing through on a road trip and put in a last minute request for some dog sitting so my daughter and I could go to the aquarium- we were greeted by a very excited pack of dogs, ready to play. About: I’m an experienced pet sitter with a deep love for dogs of all sizes and temperaments. My wife and I sit as a team, giving your pet attentive, round-the-clock care! She works just 5 minutes from our home and can easily head home during the day for potty breaks and check-ins, while my flexible schedule on a college campus covers the rest. We've volunteered and fostered through BARCS, which has given us hands-on experience with reactive or nervous dogs with special needs. We also have our own rescue dog, Taz, who is very dog-social and loves helping us foster or sit other pups. Taz is a bit skeptical of new humans, so we completely understand the patience, quiet confidence, and space required for dogs with behavioral quirks or human/leash reactivity. Whether your dog needs oral medication, multi-dog management, or just a calm, structured routine, we treat every pet with the exact same love, safety, and individual care as our own! I work on UMD's campus, but I have a flexible schedule and I am happy to adjust my routine to fit the needs of your pet! My spouse works just 5 minutes from our house and can also come home to provide mid-day potty breaks. We prefer to sit dogs in our home, which is only about 3 blocks from Riverside Park. We have a fenced in back patio with a baby pool for the dogs to play in the shade and cool off in warm weather and we regularly drive our dog and his friends to bigger spaces through sniff-spot if they need fenced-in space to run!

About: This young adult is filled with energy, patience and love! I have owned a dog since I was a child and tried to open a mini petting rescue zoo in my moms barn . It worked until I had to actually adult and pay my own bills . I love giving one in one attention and healthy treats . My availability is flexible due to working around my human patients . I value bedside mannerisms and do believe they don’t just apply to two legged friends. I have been known for my cautious and preventative decision making skills ! My temperament is easy going but firm because if not, all paws will break loose! Seriously , I would have 100 dogs at home if possible. I am currently working part time and from home . I have plenty of time to give your fur baby the attention and love deserving ! I have a mini fenced in area in my back yard that my own pup adores. It is just enough space to get the job done and provide leg room. I live in walking distance to three huge parks, and on leash we will have a wonderful time.
