Pet care experience
Your pet will have the best time!
All my life I have loved animals. I greet the pet before the human most times lol. Having had a family dog majority of my life, and now seeing all my siblings have their own pets (dogs & cats), I know how important it is to have someone you can trust to watch your pet, because pets are family! It brings me so much joy to spend time with animals and be able to provide them a safe space to play, explore, eat, sleep, and be loved on! Animals want to feel comfortable and safe just like humans do, and I am joining Rover so I can help provide this type of care for more loving pet owners 😊 If your dog stays with me we will: go on a minimum of 2 15-30 minute walks, have plenty of play time inside and outside, and be cuddled up on the couch enjoying each other's love. I will also send you plenty of pics with updates of how our time together is going! I want to give your pet the best experience while you are away so they feel okay with the unavoidable time apart. Let me rid you of pet parent anxiety & guilt. Trust that with me, your pet with be safe and have a great time 😊
Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
I have been caring for animals most of my life, and I care for them as if they are my own pets. I make sure their needs (food, water, bed/sleeping area) are easily accessible and that I am available to them whenever they need. I have a fenced in yard and communal courtyard, making bathroom breaks and outdoor playtime/exploration easy! I also have an open living room and a long hallway making indoor playtime fun and doable! And I have windows that look out onto the street and nature to keep their mind busy on those days the weather isn't the best (and they may not want to be outside). When on walks, I am alert and ensure they are always close to me and in safe situations. I know all the safe foods & medicines cats and dogs can have, as well as the unsafe foods & meds, which I make sure are put away and/out of reach for the animal. I know when to be stern in my tone of voice to discipline a dog when necessary (e.g. out on a walk and they are pulling or I need to get their attention, if they have gotten into something that they shouldn't have, etc.). I want to always make sure the pet is safe from harm when with me. They are like children to me, and I will do anything to protect a child! In addition to ensuring the pets safety, I love to snuggle and give pets all throughout the day, providing the pet with lots of love and comfort. Making them happy makes me happy!
Ratings and reviews
Olivia was so wonderful with our puppy, managing her puppy energy and showing her lots of love. She was very communicative and took great pictures. Her house is inviting and safe for dogs. We will definitely be booking with her again!

Rubi loves spending time with her favorite sitter! I can always trust Olivia to take good care of her and communicate changes or things to keep an eye on, which is always incredibly helpful and appreciated with a puppy. Thank you!!

Olivia is wonderful with our dog! She is a very caring person and clearly loves and respects dogs and their needs! She also is very knowledgeable and I know she will do the right thing for our dog as needed. We are lucky to have her as our dog sitter and will call on her any time!
Olivia has cared for my dog a half dozen times and each time has been a top notch experience! She send pictures and videos throughout visits, she follows any/all of my instructions and preferences when it comes to caretaking, and she creates her own activities that my dog has LOVED -- sometimes I think my dog prefers to spend time with Olivia than me LOL. Overall, she is a kind caretaker that really wants the dog to have a great time and for us owners to feel comfortable.
Olivia has watched my little Rubi for days at a time, keeping her active, cared for— and most importantly, ACTIVE, which is key for a very energized puppy. She was extremely communicative, flexible, and available when needed; she is absolutely our go-to caretaker for our little pup.

Schedule
I work remotely, so I have flexibility between the hours of 7am to 7pm to: pick up or drop off a pet, let a dog out to use the bathroom and get some fresh air, take a dog out on multiple walks and socialize them if their parent wants/allows that, be in the home whenever the pet wants attention and love, stimulate their brain by playing with them, and feed it breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I want to ensure a pet gets the most out of their day!
