About: I adopted my first dog when I was 12, and the rest, as they say, is history! I have experience pet sitting for neighbors and friends, from puppies to senior dogs, including animals with medication needs. When I haven't had dogs of my own, I've been involved with fostering to get both cats and dogs ready for their forever home. I'm a hybrid worker with a flexible work schedule, so I'm available throughout the day, for whatever your pet(s) need, whether that's a midmorning walk, an afternoon play session, or meals at specific times of the day! I have a small fenced in patio, and I'm open to working with you to make sure your pet is happy, healthy, and safe. I have experience with obedience training, crate training, and animals with special requirements, and I will do whatever is necessary to meet your pet's individual needs.
“Shanikki is great with all dog breeds and they feel comfortable in her care. She is great at communicating and always gets back to booking requests promptly. So thankful for her great pet sitting!”

“This was my first time sending my baby off. He was a Covid baby so he didn't really get a chance to get out. Kobe took to Reynaldo right away. I got pictures and updates. Looking forward to other adventures.”

About: 10 years fostering dogs with a local shelter—puppies, medical cases, reactive dogs, seniors, and the shy ones who need extra patience. My favorites are large dogs and blockheads (staffies, rotties, pit mixes), though a small dog sneaks in now and then (frenchies, Havanese, corgi, etc). I'm new to Rover but not to petsitting. I've cared for dogs from families who adopted my fosters for years, and I've been active on Wag! At my house, dogs get on the furniture, play hard, and get spoiled. Belly rubs, butt scratches, and ear massages come standard. My goal is to send your dog home happy, loved and tired. I'm self-employed and work from home when dogs stay with me. (My clients are used to dogs making an appearance during Zoom calls.) I'm a runner so long walks with dogs is just part of the fitness routine. I match my schedule to your dog's feeding and bathroom schedule. Every dog that comes here is treated with patience and care. Some arrive nervous, anxious, or unsure—maybe a potty accident in a new space, maybe hesitant to settle. My job is to help them feel safe, give them time to decompress, and meet them where they are. When they're ready, I'm here for play and snuggles. I have a fenced yard and my property backs up to a park. Dogs get regular walks, plus potty breaks. If a dog needs shorter, lower-key outings, we do on-leash trips to the park right behind the house. If your dog is reactive, we do backyard potty breaks and walk off-peak hours on a specific path to minimize potential sightings of other dogs.
“Esterline was the perfect sitter. Shilo was well cared for. Sent regular reports and pictures. Definitely will use Esterline again along as she doesn't leave Rover.”

“Peter was very communicative and overall took care of our 3 year old labradoodle. He had other dogs there that were very welcoming and friendly to a new dog in the home.”

“Karla was amazing with Clea (as always!) She was available for a last minute booking after another Dogsitter cancelled. Clea had a great time, and we received lots of updates and photos. Karla was very accommodating with the booking times as well. Highly recommend her to others!”

“Jasmine is great!! This is my first time using Rover, and I am glad I found her. She is super responsible - asking me about daily routine; taking my dog outside for walk etc. Easy to communicate as well! Highly recommend 🥰🥰”

About: I have over 5 years of experience caring for dogs of all ages, breeds, and temperaments—including puppies, senior dogs, and dogs with special needs. I’ve personally trained my own beagle and have also helped friends and neighbors with walking, feeding, administering medications, and basic training. I truly love animals and treat every pet as if they were my own—patiently, kindly, and attentively. Whether it’s a playful pup or a shy senior, I adapt to their unique needs and personality. I’m also familiar with dog behavior and safety, and I make sure every dog feels safe, happy, and loved while in my care. I work from home as a software developer, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for pets throughout the day. I take regular breaks, which I use for walks, playtime, or simply giving your pet some extra love and attention. This routine allows me to be fully present and responsive to your dog’s needs, whether it’s sticking to a feeding schedule, administering medication, or just being there for comfort and companionship. I maintain a clean, quiet, and pet-friendly home with secure spaces where dogs can feel comfortable and safe. I follow each pet parent’s instructions carefully and take the time to get to know each dog’s habits, limits, and preferences. Whether in my home or yours, I create a calm, positive environment with consistent routines, supervision, and lots of affection. I also take safety seriously leash control, safe spaces, and always monitoring behavior to ensure everyone is happy and secure.
About: I'm a life-long dog owner and have had cats much of my life. Years of volunteering at animal shelters has given me real, hands-on confidence with all kinds of animals and temperaments, including the reactive and anxious ones who need a calm, patient hand. I'm comfortable administering medication, managing mobility limitations, special needs, and the kind of quirks that make pet parents nervous to leave instructions for a new sitter. I also have advanced training for working with dogs with behavior challenges, training protocols, and dog and cat body language. No matter the animal, the basics stay the same: sticking to their routine, and sending photo updates and check-ins so you're never wondering how things are going. Your pet is in calm, capable hands. I work from home and am available for walks and drop-ins in the mornings and evenings, and midday as my schedule allows. I’m also available for house sitting. Have needs outside of this? Let’s talk! If the travel distance exceeds my service range, additional fees may apply. For walks and drop-ins, I keep things low-key: familiar environment, familiar routine, minimal disruption to their day. For house sitting, I stay in your home and keep your pet's routine exactly as you left it. I treat your space with the same care I'd want someone to treat mine. Got a weird routine, like needing to fake a 5-star meal, or finding the perfect blade of grass for a potty break? Tell me about it, I'll make it happen. Across both, I send photo updates throughout so you always know how things are going.
“Dorcas responded very quickly to my ad to watch my little boy spot. She even drove to my work to pick him up for me. She immediatly sent me pics & was very easy to communicate about his needs. I know spot loves her already & we are so happy we found such a kind, loving and compassionate sitter. Thank you so much.”

About: I’ve always been a lover of animals of any kind. I’ve been the family pet sitter for years and Never was paid for it because I just was doing it for fun. Pet care seamlessly fits into my weekly routine, as I'm able to dedicate flexible hours to ensure your pet's needs are met. I can provide regular walks, playtime, and cuddles, while also accommodating medication schedules and special dietary needs. My schedule allows for regular check-ins and updates, giving you peace of mind while you're away. I provide personalized care for pets in both my home and clients' homes, tailoring my services to meet each pet's unique needs. In my home, pets enjoy the space and environment with comfortable spaces for rest and play. In clients' homes, I respect their space and routines, administering medication, feeding, and providing exercise and playtime as needed. I also keep owners informed with regular updates and photos, ensuring their pet's comfort and happiness.

Jessica took care of my pup for the first time and she did an amazing job! My pup is epileptic and ended up having a seizure. Jessica handled it exceptionally well and definitely put my mind at ease. I appreciated her thorough communication! Your pet is in great hands with Jessica 🙌🏾

Devante was awesome with my little Destiny. He was able to accommodate my schedule. He made me feel very comfortable with choosing him to care for Destiny. Very friendly, informative, and I recommend anyone to choose him because I will be requesting his services in near future!

So easy and comforting. Madeline has a lovely home and my pup took to her right away. It sounds like everyone had a nice time. It feels like such a luxury to be able to leave her with someone and not worry at all. That was my experience. Next time I'm in Baltimore with Phifer I'll be contacting Madeline.

Meredith and Kevyn were beyond amazing! This is the first time my dogs have ever been away from home and needless to say they were in such great hands. They went out of their way to accommodate us in so many ways and we are truly grateful. I would highly recommend them for any of your dog needs. My dogs will definitely be returning 🤗Thank you both and your staff for all you have done for my babies 🐾🦴

Daniel was wonderful with my puppy, Lestat! Lestat came home happy and tired from all the playing, which tells me he had an amazing time. This was his first time socializing up close with other animals, and Daniel made the experience awesome and comfortable for him. I truly appreciate Daniel and his wonderful fur babies for helping Lestat feel safe and welcome. I highly recommend him!

Dorcas is amazing with my fur baby. She takes such good care of my dog and offers a safe, comfortable space for him while I work. I 100% recommend her to anyone with doggy day care or dog walking needs. I fully trust my dog is in excellent hands when he is with Dorcas.

Brianna is one of the few sitters outside of family I trust to watch my Milo. He always looks happy when he comes home, and I know he is so well taken care of. Brianna shares photos of their time together which puts me at ease throughout the day, and I am so grateful to have found such a wonderful person to treat Milo like their own! Thanks Brianna 💗

Cindy was a great sitter. She took excellent care of my geriatric dog and he had a relaxing time at her house. Cindy provided updates and pictures which I appreciated. When I was able to return sooner than expected she was able to accommodate which I really appreciated. This was my first experience with Rover and Cindy made it flawless and easy.

Still my day 1, favorite sitter! Esterline knows one of my boys very well after years of daycare, but this was the first time she met my newer (very anxious and special-needs) boy. She consistently goes above and beyond. Sent pictures and reassuring messages all throughout the day. Esterline is the ultimate dog lover. Start-sitter status 100% deserved!
