I would literally die for your pet
I got my first dog ever a decade ago and I raised him to be perfect, with no professional training for either of us. Then, I quit my ten year career in digital marketing to follow my passion and work entirely with dogs. I worked as a bark ranger at Bark Social and made dog safety my top priority, drastically reducing humping and the ensuing scuffles. I loudly advocated for a transformation of safety rules while I worked there. I volunteer at BARCS and am aiming to get advanced training for different dog behavior needs. Howie is my top reference. I adopted my second dog (Shadow) after instantly bonding with her at my old job. Shadow is bonkers and her parent has health issues, so Shadow needed a home where she can be her true self. She’s happy how everything worked out. Dogs are my world and I will give your pet all the love and affection they deserve (which is all of it because they are perfect).

Reposting my review for all to see - Dan has been someone I trust my life with for many years now. He has taken care of my two cats every time I go away for vacation or visit family, and I have never felt more secure about leaving my fur babies! The love, attention, and play that they receive from him is something that will not be found elsewhere. Dans love for animals is a compassion that is rare, and I’m grateful to have him look over my animals when needed. Look no where else, he is the one you need for your animals!
My dog Bert is my Everything, he’s truly my Ride or Die. He’s also a fearful, reactive, and perfect boy all the same. Therefore, finding people to walk or care for him can be difficult. Dan is one among the few whom I feel totally at ease with knowing Bert is being prioritized and truly cared for while together. Nobody loves dogs like Dan, it’s a rare thing to see. Additionally, Dan has prioritized dog safety, which means he is aware of what dog anxiety looks like and how it manifests. He continues to train himself and his own dogs to maintain ongoing success in always changing environments which can be tough for anxious babies. That asset is tough to find in terms of your average dog walker. I’m so glad a person like Dan is out there giving it his all because to folks like me and Bert, that trust is priceless.
Daniel took fantastic care of our pup! Sent lots of photos and was super communicative, we will definitely be using Daniel again next time we’re out of town and would highly recommend him!

Schedule
Dogs run my life and I wouldn’t have it any other way. The only thing I can see myself doing for the rest of my life is working with animals. I’m all in so I’m available most of the time. I’m literally with dogs 95% of my life so dogs are my daily routine. My dogs will love becoming best buddies with any pet that boards or does daycare with them!

Safety, trust & environment
All boarding and daycare clients will have an apple AirTag tracking chip affixed to them for the duration of our time together (if wearing a collar). I use a hands free leash attached around my waist so they’re stuck with me. I also use their handheld leash as a backup. I have a private fenced back patio, so there is always a secure outside area for your dog. I have a dog pool to keep them cool on hot days. My house is a few blocks from Patterson park, giving them plenty of outside opportunities. My training style is radical love. Your pets will know they’re cared for and will get plenty of positive reinforcement from my end! I have two extremely friendly dogs, so there will always be friends for your pet. Dogs run my household and life revolves around them. Your dog is in safe and loving hands! Please bring a collar for tracking. I prefer using both harnesses and collars when taking them for walks, but one or the other is required. You will also need to bring any food or other things necessary for your dog. My second bedroom is attached to the master, so dogs will have their own room with crates if they need space. They are encouraged to sleep in my bed, but can claim their own space if needed. I love this community and plan on staying here for the rest of my life. You’ll have a dog guy for life!
Pets
A typical day
Two dogs live at my house, so they will always have friends with them. They can go outside whenever and have free reign of the house! Your dog will start the day getting acclimated with my house and their new dog friends. We’ll typically go on a walk and eat lunch then do the same before dinner. The rest of the day will be spent playing with the other pups, napping, and getting lots of lovings. I live next to Patterson park and walk everywhere, so they can join in on urban adventures at local coffee shops, restaurants, shops, and dog friendly bars from Highlandtown to Fells point. They’ll play with my dogs outside and cuddle for naps wherever they please. Your dogs will eat separately from others so they can dine in peace. Siblings will eat together unless otherwise requested. I may (will) sneak them a few treats and a peanut butter or yogurt licky mat if you give permission!

- Boarding and daycare dogs must be friendly with other dogs because of mine and daycare is more fun with friends! Shadow is absolutely bonkers but she is friendly and loves to play. She’s two and will be primarily responsible for tiring your dog out with her high energy level. Shadow has shown some resource guarding so no toys are allowed. They will have plenty of fun without them though! She is very protective of her food. Your dog will always eat separately, but no reactive dogs should stay with us for the time being. She doesn’t like when other dogs go where her food is stored so that would likely cause issues. She’s a really sweet girl but has her quirks that we need to be aware of. She is crate trained and will be there if I leave, depending on the situation. Please no reactive dogs at this time as I work with Shadow. Your dog will be exhausted after a long day of her loving harassment! Howie is my soul dog and is a decade old. He’s usually chill as a cucumber but can put up with menaces (like his little sister). He serves as the referee and checks everyone if they act up too much. He’s the best so your dog will be in safe hands (and paws)! Walks are wholly focused on your pet, unless you want them to have company. Siblings will often walk together if they have similar energy levels or if requested. They’ll get at least one or two per day but will have outside access the majority of the time.
