“Being a travel nurse is sometimes a little more difficult with a dog, finding new dog sitters for George in a new city can be hard since I work 12 hour days. Veronica and Caleb have been extremely understanding and flexible with drop off and pick up times. They are great with communication and send updates/pictures of George frequently. I couldn’t have found better people to take care of him in Baltimore while I work. Extremely grateful for all they do!”

“Meredith and Kevyn are the best. My pup Rupert always has so much fun when he is with them and all his pup friends. Every time we go back, he runs right up to the door, tail wagging and so excited. Finding them on Rover has been a game changer for us!”

“It was so wonderful to know Mateo was in great hands! We will definitely be keeping April in mind in the future. He came home happy and tired every day that he spent with her and her pup!”

“Still my day 1, favorite sitter! Esterline knows one of my boys very well after years of daycare, but this was the first time she met my newer (very anxious and special-needs) boy. She consistently goes above and beyond. Sent pictures and reassuring messages all throughout the day. Esterline is the ultimate dog lover. Start-sitter status 100% deserved!”

“I can’t stress enough how much Javi, my dog, loves his time with Rey. Every time I go to drop Javi off, he’s ready to jolt out of my car and run into Rey’s place. I feel so lucky to have found such a trustworthy and capable sitter/walker/human friend for my dog! He’s truly got a magic touch with pups.”

“Elizabeth was absolutely fantastic with our dog Lupin. She picked him and dropped him off every day which was such a help. He also adored playing with her puppy!”

“Shanikki is great with all dog breeds and they feel comfortable in her care. She is great at communicating and always gets back to booking requests promptly. So thankful for her great pet sitting!”

“I couldn’t be happier with our dog sitter! He’s incredibly prompt and always available—even on short notice, which has been a lifesaver more than once. It’s clear he genuinely loves my dog, and that kind of care and attention means a lot to me. He also has his own dog, so mine gets a built-in playmate and comes home happy and well-exercised every time. It’s such a relief knowing my dog is not just being watched, but truly cared for and enjoying the experience. Highly recommend!”

“Karla was absolutely amazing with Sausage. Sausage is a very elderly dog with mobility and anxiety issues and Karla was able to care for and watch over him with patience and persistence, trying multiple ways to calm and soothe him until he was eventually able to settle down. I don’t trust my little pup with just anyone, and Karla never once gave me reason to worry. Clear communication from the get-go with multiple updates throughout the stay. I can’t say enough good things about Karla. We will definitely be asking her to watch Sausage again in the future!”

About: 10 years fostering dogs with a local shelter—puppies, medical cases, reactive dogs, seniors, and the shy ones who need extra patience. My favorites are large dogs and blockheads (staffies, rotties, pit mixes), though a small dog sneaks in now and then (frenchies, Havanese, corgi, etc). I'm new to Rover but not to petsitting. I've cared for dogs from families who adopted my fosters for years, and I've been active on Wag! At my house, dogs get on the furniture, play hard, and get spoiled. Belly rubs, butt scratches, and ear massages come standard. My goal is to send your dog home happy, loved and tired. I'm self-employed and work from home when dogs stay with me. (My clients are used to dogs making an appearance during Zoom calls.) I'm a runner so long walks with dogs is just part of the fitness routine. I match my schedule to your dog's feeding and bathroom schedule. Every dog that comes here is treated with patience and care. Some arrive nervous, anxious, or unsure—maybe a potty accident in a new space, maybe hesitant to settle. My job is to help them feel safe, give them time to decompress, and meet them where they are. When they're ready, I'm here for play and snuggles. I have a fenced yard and my property backs up to a park. Dogs get regular walks, plus potty breaks. If a dog needs shorter, lower-key outings, we do on-leash trips to the park right behind the house. If your dog is reactive, we do backyard potty breaks and walk off-peak hours on a specific path to minimize potential sightings of other dogs.
About: My family adopted a Chow Chow just before I was born; dogs have been family ever since! I’ve had the pleasure of taking care of dogs for family, friends, coworkers, roommates, and neighbors for over a decade I have a flexible schedule working from home. I already take long scenic walks everyday, and it would be awesome to have an adorable pooch as company! Your dog will have a whole room for themselves when they want to stay inside! I have a big fenced-in yard when they want some fresh air, and a bigger dog park nearby for the athletes!
About: I've cared for everything from birds and hamsters to cats and dogs! As a teacher and former daycare worker, I bring a calm, nurturing presence that pets (and babies!) naturally respond to. Whether it’s playful puppies or senior pets needing gentle care, I treat every animal like family. Since I am a teacher, I get summer off. My last day is June 18th, so after my last day my schedule is very flexible. I will be available every day of the week. My cats are indoor and I feed them in the morning when I wake up and before going to sleep. If the client has a dog, I like to take the dogs to the park or on a long walk and ensure they get physical activity. I feed them according to their schedule and make sure they get lots of snuggles throughout the day.
“I left Coco with Alicia for the day while work was being done in my house. Often when I leave her with someone she pulls on her leash and wants to come with me but this time she seemed to be happy staying with Alicia and Nala. It was as if I wasn't even there! Alicia took good care of Coco. I look forward to leaving Coco with her again.”

About: A little bit about me is that i’ve been had many dogs , cats , fish , turtles and guinea pigs (yes my guinea pig, dog & cat all got along lol). i have a roommate who is also a veterinarian who specializes in all types of dogs , which is very helpful since he will be helping with any services i may need assistance on. i currently work in child care (5yrs now) and need something pretty simple over the summer to do while schools out. i live in a spacious loft downtown baltimore. im also a licensed cook as well, so typically feed my pets once a week a good meal. currently working full time until june 8,2026 due to me working in child care and schools almost out. after that ill be 100% free throughout the week and weekend. my building has an enclosed sitting / yard area inside the building. i can do walks too since i live downtown but most likely will be in the area of the enclosed yard my building provides due to that’s where all the other dog parents their babies.
“Jasmine is great!! This is my first time using Rover, and I am glad I found her. She is super responsible - asking me about daily routine; taking my dog outside for walk etc. Easy to communicate as well! Highly recommend 🥰🥰”

About: I’ve always been a lover of animals of any kind. I’ve been the family pet sitter for years and Never was paid for it because I just was doing it for fun. Pet care seamlessly fits into my weekly routine, as I'm able to dedicate flexible hours to ensure your pet's needs are met. I can provide regular walks, playtime, and cuddles, while also accommodating medication schedules and special dietary needs. So easy and comforting. Madeline has a lovely home and my pup took to her right away. It sounds like everyone had a nice time. It feels like such a luxury to be able to leave her with someone and not worry at all. That was my experience. Next time I'm in Baltimore with Phifer I'll be contacting Madeline.

Meredith and Kevyn were beyond amazing! This is the first time my dogs have ever been away from home and needless to say they were in such great hands. They went out of their way to accommodate us in so many ways and we are truly grateful. I would highly recommend them for any of your dog needs. My dogs will definitely be returning 🤗Thank you both and your staff for all you have done for my babies 🐾🦴

Daniel was wonderful with my puppy, Lestat! Lestat came home happy and tired from all the playing, which tells me he had an amazing time. This was his first time socializing up close with other animals, and Daniel made the experience awesome and comfortable for him. I truly appreciate Daniel and his wonderful fur babies for helping Lestat feel safe and welcome. I highly recommend him!

Isabella was so amazing with Dubby! She was great with communicating about pick up and drop off times and was very flexible about them. We felt great about dropping Dubby off with her because she was excited whenever we dropped her off and she understood that Dubby just wanted someone to cuddle with. Would absolutely recommend using Isabella to take care of your fur baby!

Dorcas is amazing with my fur baby. She takes such good care of my dog and offers a safe, comfortable space for him while I work. I 100% recommend her to anyone with doggy day care or dog walking needs. I fully trust my dog is in excellent hands when he is with Dorcas.

Brianna is one of the few sitters outside of family I trust to watch my Milo. He always looks happy when he comes home, and I know he is so well taken care of. Brianna shares photos of their time together which puts me at ease throughout the day, and I am so grateful to have found such a wonderful person to treat Milo like their own! Thanks Brianna 💗

Cindy was a great sitter. She took excellent care of my geriatric dog and he had a relaxing time at her house. Cindy provided updates and pictures which I appreciated. When I was able to return sooner than expected she was able to accommodate which I really appreciated. This was my first experience with Rover and Cindy made it flawless and easy.

Still my day 1, favorite sitter! Esterline knows one of my boys very well after years of daycare, but this was the first time she met my newer (very anxious and special-needs) boy. She consistently goes above and beyond. Sent pictures and reassuring messages all throughout the day. Esterline is the ultimate dog lover. Start-sitter status 100% deserved!
