A PhD student and a dog named Hazel
I adopted my dog after volunteering at an animal shelter in Houston. Once I met her I knew she was the one. Having worked at an animal shelter I saw all sorts of dogs, big and small and know how to handle reactive dogs or dogs with disabilities. Furthermore with rainy Baltimore weather I have towels as well as brain puzzles to make sure your dogs are never bored!

Shruti cared for Reggie for two weeks will my husband and I went on an international vacation. Reggie loved his time as evidenced by the constant photos we received of him.
Shruti took really great care of our two pups and sent us regular updates. It was such a relief to leave them in the care of someone so responsible and friendly. And our pups had a blast hanging out with her dog. We absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for boarding. Thank you Shruti!!!!
Shruti took amazing care our dog while we were away on vacation. Due to his past (prior to adoption), we were nervous about boarding him and causing further harm. She kept us updated daily and included pictures. We will be booking with her in the future!
Shruti was great with our dog, Camden. She sent pics and was so easy going for drop off and pickup times. Felt really comfortable having her watch Camden for a longer stay! Would def rebook!
It’s our second time leaving our dog Jojo with Shruti. She’s the best and we will continue to use her when we need a sitter for our dog 😊.

I am currently a graduate student- and can easily balance my time with school and taking care of your dog ! I always make sure that I give my dog breaks and attention so my schedule is very flexible. Having my own dog has helped me carve out enough time within my week and weekends that make it very easy to add another dog to my schedule.

My dog is allowed on my bed and furniture and yours will be as well. I take care of one dog at a time so my focus will be to make sure your dog gets the care it deserves. While I do not crate my dog, if your dog is crated I have the space for it and will crate them as instructed. I have a doggy gate as well and can separate my home so dogs have their own space as needed. I have a variety of dog toys, which other dogs have enjoyed playing with while staying with me. My home is wooden floors with machine washable rugs, so there is no concern if your dog has an accident (especially out of nervousness at a new place). My boyfriend Shawn works from home and gives loves giving lots of play and attention to your dog during the day so anxious dogs are never alone for extended periods. However, I am primary caretaker.

I will make sure the activity level of the dog is considered for exercise and play! For my dog: I take her out for 3 potty breaks or more depending on time. With one long walk during the day. I will take her on at least a mile walking on a day with good weather- maybe more if time permitting. If you have a membership at BarkSocial in Canton, I can take your dog there with mine !
