She got along very well with their dog. I received lots of photos throughout the weekend I was gone. About: 10 years fostering dogs with a local shelter—puppies, medical cases, reactive dogs, seniors, and the shy ones who need extra patience. My favorites are large dogs and blockheads (staffies, rotties, pit mixes), though a small dog sneaks in now and then (frenchies, Havanese, corgi, etc). I'm new to Rover but not to petsitting. About: My partner, Tae, and I are parents to a 7 year Maltipoo named Luna! While we are new to Rover, we’ve been dog sitting for friends and neighbors as a team for 3 years (and individually much longer). Tae, Luna, and I love other dogs and are happy to welcome other dogs into our family for whatever length of time! We are also able to provide walks and visits locally. Our Luna has separation anxiety and many fears (we really hate the vet, thunderstorms, LED lights, tin foil, Android ringtones...) so we are quite experienced dealing with anxiety and medication administration. Tae and I both have flexible work schedules and will not accept bookings unless we know we can offer the time and attention your dog needs! We work as a pet parent team and both have flexible work schedules! “My husband & I were ever so grateful to have our dog, Star, board with Rich. We had never been away from her for 2 weeks before and we hated the idea of leaving her in a cold, cinder-block kennel. Rich provided a warm, friendly home where we could trust that Star enjoyed her stay. We were happy to get updates and pictures of Star throughout our vacation. Even though these made us miss her all the more, we were happy to know she was being cared for with love. We will definitely contact Rich the next time we need to board Star.”
“Ginnie and her husband were fantastic in taking care of Minnie! They clearly know a lot about handling dogs and have lots of experience! we felt very comfortable knowing she was taken care of so well! Ginnie sent updates and pictures daily which were very reassuring. Also we had to extend our trip for a day and Ginnie and her husband were very accommodating and flexible! We are so happy to have found Minnie a home away from home! we will definitely leave Minnie again with Ginnie next time we travel! Thanks so much!!!”
“Reynaldo seem to love his doggies. It was my first experience on Rover and I was skeptical, and a bit scared to be honest, at first to leave my dog. Reynaldo sent pictures and updated frequently. Overall, Luca had a safe and pleasant stay (he even threw a party for one of the other doggies’ birthday) !”
“It was great to leave my Gus with a stranger! Gus has never been away from me and doesn't get much interaction with dogs. Malik communicated with me the first night to say things were going well and them followed up the next night with a photo! I highly recommend Malik and will use him again!”
