“Shanikki was very flexible with my last minute booking and my dog enjoyed her time! She was very responsive and sent pictures and was great with my nervous dog.”

“Liz was so kind and amazing with Maverick. Sent me pics and updates throughout the day and even helped teach Mav some new skills. I felt super comfortable trusting her and would recommend her to anyone!!”

“María is an amazing sitter! She is always super accommodating and clearly loves and cares about all the dogs she watches. Maria also does a great job with taking into account the varying needs of the dogs she watches and makes sure that they are comfortable and happy. I would highly recommend her to anyone!”

About: No pets in my home currently, no kids, a small fenced concrete backyard and walking distance to Patterson park. I have had dogs and cats my entire life and grew up around two beautiful Rottweilers. I had a 4lb Yorkie named Frida who was 14. Frida was an amazing companion for me since I was 18 years old having been present for her birth. I trained her early and, in her old age, cared for her arthritis, seizures and other issues with hydrotherapy and medications as needed. She underwent 3 surgeries on joints and teeth and I spent weeks rehabilitating her throughout her life. Every one of my close family and friends have dogs and cats, all of whom I’ve had the pleasure of watching while their parents are away. I have cared for large and small and every dog breed in between from Yorkies to French bulldogs, Westies, Samoyed, Huskies, poodles and mini Australian Shepards. I truly consider pets as members of the family. I am currently in nursing school and spend most of my time studying, but love having a companion at home or to get outside to walk. I will take care of your animal as if they were my own. If you give me instruction I will do just that as you know your animal better than anyone. I have a newly pet-free home and would be happy to have your dog stay over if needed and am able to come to your home and walk or care for your animal while you’re away, too. I am respectful of personal space and will always leave a home how I found it with your pup or cat cozy inside.
“This was my very first time using a dog daycare, and I was extremely nervous. Luna isn’t just my dog—she’s my only family. During my Navy deployments, my ex-husband took everything I had, and after I left the service, Luna became the one constant in my life. We’ve been through everything together. Today, I had a 12-hour clinical shift and my usual sitter (a close friend) was unavailable. I entrusted Luna to Lexie, and I could not be more grateful. Lexie sent me updates throughout the day, took Luna on walks and even to the park. Knowing Luna was in such good hands gave me so much peace of mind. I wholeheartedly recommend Lexie to anyone looking for someone who truly cares about your dog as family. Thank you, Lexie, for treating Luna like your own.”

About: I’ve grown up with pets my entire life and they soon become part of the family, that is my number one priority when pet-sitting! I’m a recent Baltimore/Fells Point transplant and I now have the ability and space to pet-sit comfortably. I work mostly from home so I am capable of watching over your loved pets for longer periods of time as well. The majority of the week I work remotely from home and therefore am able to focus on daily and weekday pet care routines. I am also a dog owner to a 6 year old Golden Retriever and I make sure he receives proper walks and breaks in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings and would commit to that level of care an more for your loved pets. I currently live in a rowhome with a decently sized and fenced back yard for your pet to run and play in, bonus points if your pet enjoys the company of my own golden retriever and loves to play fetch! I have ample living space and multiple dog beds for relaxation as well as a designated room in case a pet needs to be crated or boarded in.
“Very patient Sitter. My dog is still a puppy and can be quite mischievous. Esterline was patient, kind and very understanding. I especially liked the environment that my dog was in. Her house was very clean and aesthetically pleasing. She even had another puppy for my dog to play with! When my dog came back home he was so tired he went straight to sleep and slept through the night! AMAZING!! Highly recommend.”

“I can’t say enough good things about the care my Duchess received from Lingli!! From the moment we arrived, I felt completely at ease. She was so kind and welcoming, and I truly appreciated the daily photo updates—it made being away from Duchess so much easier. Lingli's patience and flexibility, especially with my changing schedule due to meetings, meant the world to me. It’s rare to find someone who is both professional and genuinely loving toward pets, but she’s exactly that. Highly recommend!”

About: We're two proud dog moms based in Baltimore City with a deep love for pups of all kinds! We've spent years walking, boarding, and caring for dogs in our neighborhood, often hosting overnight stays so our sweet 4-year-old girl Poppy can have a playmate. Poppy loves meeting new friends and would be thrilled to welcome your dog into our home—though she insists on a quick meet-and-greet first (just to make sure it’s love at first sniff). We’ve also cared for dogs long-term, including a full month with an energetic one-year-old, so we’re ready for anything. While we’re new to Rover, we’ve got plenty of off-the-record experience and can’t wait to officially join the community! Pet care fits naturally into our daily lives—one of us works from home full-time, so there's usually someone around for walks, cuddles, and attention throughout the day. The other works evenings and most weekends but is free during weekday mornings, which means we're flexible for pickups, drop-offs, and mid-morning strolls. We're also home most weekends, including holiday weekends. Between the two of us, your dog will get lots of love, attention, and care around the clock. When we board dogs in our home, we focus on creating a calm, safe, and loving environment. We typically feed visiting pups separately just to avoid any tummy troubles or food-related tension. We're happy to follow your preferences when it comes to sleeping arrangements; Poppy usually snoozes in bed with us or on the couch downstairs, so we’re flexible depending on what makes your dog feel at home. We’re generally homebodies who love cozy evenings with our dog, but Poppy is also an adventurer—she is a regular at Patterson Park, Checkerspot Brewery, Ovenbird Bakery, and occasionally Downs Dog Beach or nearby hikes. If your pup enjoys outings, we'd love to bring them along—but if they prefer a more relaxed pace, we’re just as happy snuggling up on the couch.
“It was so wonderful to know Mateo was in great hands! We will definitely be keeping April in mind in the future. He came home happy and tired every day that he spent with her and her pup!”

With my updated class schedule this year, I'm offering flexible scheduling while still focusing on one pet at a time, to make sure that each furry friend gets my full undivided attention! I work from home and have flexible work scheduling, which gives me the freedom to accommodate walks at any time of day, whether during week or on weekends. I'm also an early riser for those early morning walks. At my place, pets get a cozy, comfy environment with lots of playtime, walks, and cuddles, all while sticking to their regular routine. When I’m at your home, I keep things familiar and make sure they get all the attention, walks, and care they need. I’m here to keep your pet happy and stress-free, wherever they are!
“Peter was very communicative and overall took care of our 3 year old labradoodle. He had other dogs there that were very welcoming and friendly to a new dog in the home.”

“I mean, I’m not sure if it gets more 5⭐️ than this! My pup was so happy and exercised! This business here is experienced and trained. Kudos! And most importantly, Thank you! ?????? Aisha”

“James and Robyn are the best dog sitters I’ve had! My dog is always so excited to see them when I drop him off in the mornings and is so tired by the end of the day. I love that he gets great long walks, has a dog buddy to hang out with (plus bonus doggies occasionally staying there), and that I get so many photos of him throughout the day. They are super responsive and accommodating, and even gave me some tips for how to prevent my dog pulling on the leash during walks! All around, a great experience for me and my pup.”

About: I live in a home full of dogs, so caring for pups of all ages and personalities is second nature to me! I have hands-on experience with puppies, including helping with basic training, crate routines, and leash manners, as well as senior dogs who need a gentler pace, medication reminders, or extra patience and attention. What sets me apart is how much I truly love and connect with every dog I meet. I treat each one like my own. I’m reliable, attentive, and make sure every pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or snuggles on the couch, I tailor my care to fit each dog’s personality and needs. I currently work part-time in real estate, which gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to caring for dogs. I love spending my free time walking, playing with, and looking after pups — it’s honestly the best part of my day. Whether it’s morning walks, afternoon playtime, or evening drop-ins, I’m able to fit pet care easily into my daily routine and give each dog the attention and time they deserve. Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. In my home, dogs are treated like family — they have a clean, safe, and cozy space to relax, with plenty of supervised playtime and affection. I make sure the environment is secure, free of hazards, and that each pup feels calm and comfortable. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect your space and follow your routines closely to keep things consistent and stress-free for your pet. I pay attention to details like feeding schedules, walk times, and any special instructions so you can feel confident your dog is in good hands. Whether it’s in my home or yours, I always aim to create a safe, loving environment built on trust, communication, and genuine care.
Patterson Park East dog parents share their Rover experiences
Theo is a great sitter. I felt comfortable knowing my pup was in his care. My dog, a pandemic pup, has separation anxiety so he’s not always willing to go to just anybody. He did well with Theo and I really appreciated updates throughout the day. I look forward to continuing to use his dog sitting services.

Isabel went above and beyond for our boy! It was a short stay, but she took him on a nice long walk and checked in with me right away about a minor concern. She clearly cares about the dogs she watches, and I really appreciated the communication and attention to detail. Highly recommend!

Loved!! Emily is so great with my dog and so so kind and flexible when communicating plans. I am so grateful for her thoughtful questions during or Meet & Greet, the pictures she sends during the day, and her willingness to chat throughout the process to make sure Maggie has an easy and good stay with her!

Ashley has been my go to sitter ever since I used her for the first time a couple weeks ago! She sends the best updates throughout the day of our pups playing together, even when I’m super busy at work & can’t answer. Yesterday was a really rough & long day at work & she was super flexible & kind about a late pick up time. Sadie has the best time whenever she’s there!
