About: For 12 years, I cared for my 115-lb German Shepherd through every stage of his life. He was leash-reactive, so I know how to read body language, manage leash walks safely, and keep big, strong dogs under control without stress or force. “So grateful, we found “Ashley.” We searched Rover for the best possible match for our pup “Munchkin.” Munchkin is a Shorkie-Shih-Tzu-Yorkie mix. We message Ashley to set up a meet and greet at the doggie park to introduce our pup to her. At first sight Munchkin and Ashley were best friends. Ashley has a very welcoming, happy, calm and pleasant personalit. She also smiles a lot, making pet families feel at ease, secure and safe to leave your fur baby with her. Ashley boarded our Munchkin from 3/25-3/30/25 and we felt very safe to leave her with Ashley at her home. During this time Ashley sent videos and photos daily. We enjoyed seeing what Munchkin was doing while we were away. We left meal plan for Munchkin of boiled Chicken, Fresh Salmon, Veggies and Ashley assisted with that. Ashley took Munchkin on walks, sun bathing on the patio 😂 snuggled up with her beautiful pup Miley and so much more. We highly recommend Ashley and we will be reaching out to her again in the future. About: Hey Friend, I love pets! I helped my dad train our puppy for a little over 8 years. I’ve been walking dogs for 4 years and I’ve adopted and rescued two puppies in the last 2 years. About: Hey all, I have been hosting dogs on Rover on and off for almost 10 years now. My dog Camden really enjoys hanging out with pups and meeting new buddies! I work in DC Monday-Wednesday, but the rest of the week I’m available for boarding and drop ins/walks. About: I grew up surrounded by different pets but mainly dogs. As an adult I've been exposed to cats and I get to feed my neighbors cats now and then. Currently, I have two dogs, Flash and Mina, who I've been taking care of since they were puppies. My dogs are highly energetic, so I don't mind taking care of dogs with a lot of energy. Due to my schedule flexibility, I can help with potty training as well. I am currently self-employed and mostly work from home. I can adjust my schedule to mostly any pet routine. I know dogs can find the summer months particularly taxing given their fur coats, and I am attentive to water break and rest needs. About: For 12 years, I cared for my 115-lb German Shepherd through every stage of his life. He was leash-reactive, so I know how to read body language, manage leash walks safely, and keep big, strong dogs under control without stress or force. If your pup pulls, lunges, or needs space from other dogs, I've handled it daily for years. I also have experience with puppies — the energy, the training, the potty breaks, and the constant supervision that comes with them. Whether your dog is brand new to the world or well into their golden years, I can meet them where they are. In his senior years, my Shepherd used a wheelchair, so I have hands-on experience with elderly and disabled pets: mobility assistance, patience with slower walks, medication routines, and the extra attentiveness aging animals need. Senior pets and special-needs pets aren't a challenge for me — they're my specialty. I'm also comfortable and experienced with cats, so multi-pet households are no problem. Whether your dog is an energetic puppy, old and slow, reactive, or requires special care, they'll be safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I work from home, which makes pet care a natural part of my day. About: I have taken care of dogs and cats my entire life. I currently have a non-dog friendly bully breed so I have plenty of experience walking reactive dogs or dogs that have special requirements. I love all animals and promise to treat your pet with the greatest of care. I currently work on a 2 week rotating schedule. I have lots of days off throughout the week, operating on a two week cadence. I am off Monday/Tuesday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday one week and off Wednesday/Thursday the following week. I will care for and love every pet like my own. I have nursed my dog back from a spinal surgery and she currently has cushings so I am very comfortable administering medicine. I would love to deliver the highest level of care to your loved one.
