“Great sitter. It was the first time leaving our cat since we got him, and we felt very comfortable with James. Even our cat warmed up to him immediately.”

“Lingli is very professional and punctual. She checked in on my fur babies with little notice over a busy holiday weekend. Will definitely be using her again in the future”

“Ella did an incredible job checking in on our cats and bearded dragons. A great communicator that took good care of our pets and even better pictures made being away easy. Thank you!”

About: I am a young-professional living in Baltimore and ready to care for your pet(s)! I have a black cat of my own who I spend most of my time with, but love all animals. I have fostered cats and dogs with my family since I was in high school, grew up with a dog, and have cared for friends and family pets regularly. I work from home a majority of the time so my schedule is flexible and I can make it work for you and love your pets like my own. I am excited to walk your dog, play string with your cat, and ensure they are well-cared for while you're out. I work from home and have a flexible schedule. Happy to check in mid-day during your 9-5 and on weekends! I aim to spend time with your pet and make sure they are comfortable and taken care of. I have my own cat and she has made it clear she is happy as an only-child, so I can't have other pets in my own house. But I am happy to come to you! I will make sure they have the food, water, toys, and pets they need until you're back. I know it can be stressful to leave your pet at home, so I will make sure they are safe and happy.

“Lindsay was absolutely great! I was very nervous about leaving my cats for the week as they are COVID pets that I hadn't left longer than a long weekend before. She gave me thorough updates each visit with pictures and reassured me they were doing well! Really made a huge difference knowing they were in good hands while I was away.”

“Tanner is such a great sitter and we feel lucky to have found him. He is so reliable and capable, and we felt like he could handle whatever came up with his calm and sensible manner. Not to mention, he is an overall nice person and exactly the type of fellow we would trust with our home, plants, and beloved cat.”
About: Growing up with 2 Huskies, 1 Samoyed, 9 bunnies, and even a chinchilla, I have had my fair share of experience with animals over the years. I have taken care of the pets, plants, and houses of family and friends, now wishing to expand that interest to my community. I am additionally very active and a runner, therefore happy to walk (and run) with energetic pets. As a part-time nurse, I work 2-3 shifts a week. While my schedule is different week by week, I am available on my days off. I treat other homes with the same cleanliness and respect as my own. My home is a 3 story Baltimore rowhouse with a small fenced-in backyard and many walkable parks in the vicinity. I have 1 very shy female cat, who usually keeps to herself when other animals are around.

“Solomiya became Chino’s new best friend. She was very attentive, reporting and checking with us promptly. We are happy to have found her in our neighborhood not only for convenience but also someone we can truly rely on. Will be reaching out to her for future dog boarding or checkins.”

“Chrissy was awesome! She came to the house to meet Bolt and was genuinely happy to meet him. She was extremely outgoing and bubbly and answered any questions I had. She took a bunch of pics during her walk and kept in communication during my trip. I would highly recommend her!”

About: You had me at wolf! Hi! I’m Kae, a doctoral student at Towson University. I love the outdoors, and love to take dogs with me on almost all activities! I have a lot of experience dog sitting, and my love for dogs keeps growing! I understand dogs are family and yours will be treated as my own. After their little get away (even just for a walk) your dog will feel like it itself has been on a vacation of their own. I love all dogs and don't have issues with difficult personality types! Different accommodations can be discussed, and I am very flexible! Let’s shake paws and make a deal! As a fully time graduate student I have class Mondays from 8am to 4pm and clinicals run Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 7:30 am to 3:30pm in Bethesda, MD. I understand that might be a long time to leave your doggo, but, I can promise at least two walks a day and lots of love Personally, my dogs have always had a lot of freedom in and outside of the house. However, if that's not how you do things, I have no problem replicating your routine!
“Keegan was wonderful when I had to make a last minute trip for a funeral. My cat is recovering from a urinary issue and she kept watchful eye on him for the week to look out for accidents outside the litter box. She is very thorough with her visits and in providing daily updates . I will continue to request Keegan when I have to travel. She’s an excellent cat sitter.”

“Kylie was an absolute blessing for me and my cat Mantra during my first time leaving her alone for 5 days! She was prompt, reliable, and trustworthy, updating me every day, which was very comforting. I’m certain Mantra had a great time with Kylie because when I arrived, she seemed very happy. The best part is that Kylie takes the cutest pictures, so now I have a full photo shoot of my cat! I will definitely recommend Kylie for your furry one.”

Federal Hill pet parents share their Rover experiences
Eileen is awesome! She took care of my cats for four months, and I plan to continue our weekly visits. She’s been reliable while I’m out of the US for surgery—she responds quickly and is so sweet with my kitties. My cats and I appreciate her so much. I’m even afraid they might start thinking she’s their mom!

Nancy took great care of our kitties and was kind and patient when we asked her to pivot some of the feedings/care instructions to better suit our cats needs while we were away. She also took lovely photos of our cats, which gave us great peace of mind. We would definitely book with Nancy again 😊
