“Robin was great and very kind! Our dog has separation anxiety and Robin took great care of her. She sent us pictures and videos, and kept us updated throughout the week.”

“I can’t say enough good things! They took great care of my little Jada for almost a week while I was away. It was my first time leaving Jada for that long since I’ve had her which made me nervous naturally and the communication throughout was great. It was very clear that she was treated like one of their own and had a ton of fun playing with the other dogs. Jada came home happy and tired from all of the play, I’d say it was a success! ☺️”

About: I have taken care of my own dogs and cats my entire life and cannot remember a time I didn't love them all. My cat is no longer with me but I still have dogs and would love to care for your pets as I currently do my own. I can handle big dogs and little dogs as well as am willing to clean out your cats litterboxes. I'm happy to tussle with big dogs and take naps with lap dogs anytime! I'm a college student looking for work over the breaks and any pet time over the semester as I'll be away from my own. I'm happy to work around my class schedule to be with your pets as much as possible. I have a mostly fenced yard with the only opening being the driveway but intend to do walks and keep pets leashed just for safety. My own home has two dogs that are great with other dogs, both of them being on the smaller side and great with people as well. When I'm up at school there will be no other pets up there and the space will be fully for your pets. I'm also able to do house sitting, walks, and drop-ins for your pets to make sure your pets are getting love and attention when you're away.
“Karla is an amazing dog sitter! She was so sweet to our little old pup, took great care of him, and sent us beautiful portraits of him regularly. We felt completely confident in her ability and her compassion.”

“Felice T is REALLY ?? awesomeness! I was VERY skeptical about leaving my Tedii with anyone. She is extremely shy and very attached to me as she was a full pandemic puppy with no socialization. I have to say that although Felice was very nice on our first meet and greet, I was still not sure. Her reviews were very positive and promising. However, I was thinking to myself, well my dog is different! (????♀️). I am here to tell you the reviews ARE TRUE!!!”

“Liz, Jeff, and their whole family take such amazing care of our two Bichons. The videos and pictures show them having so much fun with their family, their dogs, and other dogs in their care. Will keep booking with Liz and Jeff!”

“Megan was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING with our two dogs, Nelson and Kodie! Both can be energetic at times and both like lots of cuddles which they both received the entire stay. She followed the schedule perfectly and put our minds at ease! Communication was GREAT! Megan kept us informed of their daily activities from the time they woke up until they went to bed (including mealtimes, play time and cuddle time). She sent GREAT photos (AND I MEAN GREAT) the photos were picture perfect for magazines!! :) Megan was reliable and adjusted to our schedule with drop off and pick up. When the dogs ran out of the canned food, she offered and picked some up for us! How nice! :) At pick up both dogs were happy and well taken care of! BUT what touched my son and I the most is we were going through our pets bag and found Megan had placed a gift bag for Nelson and Kodie that consisted of a card, plush dog toy, and dog treats! WHAT A SURPRISE- We are STILL SMILING!!! :) THANK YOU MEGAN VERY NICE MEETING YOU AND WE ROVER PET PARENTS WILL BE RETURNING!!! :)”

“Nautica was great! This was the first time boarding my puppy. Nautica scheduled a meet and greet before I left her. And, she was so accommodating - my schedule changed as my flight was delayed. I will book with her again.”

“It was great to leave my Gus with a stranger! Gus has never been away from me and doesn't get much interaction with dogs. Malik communicated with me the first night to say things were going well and them followed up the next night with a photo! I highly recommend Malik and will use him again!”

“Shruti is very caring and considerate of my dog who has separation anxiety. She worked with me to find the best solution for her. I've already booked her this time for an extended stay while I am travelling.”

“This was our first experience using Rover and it was great! Brittanie and Ryan were flexible and easy to communicate with, shared photos throughout our pet’s stay, and overall made it easy to be away without worrying about her. Would definitely return the next time we need pet care!”

“Danielle took great care of my dog while I was away! Sadie was happy and well cared for when I picked her up. Danielle was responsive and sent me regular updates so I knew Sadie was happy and safe. I highly recommend Danielle!!”

“You are so AMAZING Veronica! My Murfy truly enjoyed his time with you and your beautiful babies. Thank you so much for taking great care of him for me while I was away. Due to my horrific experienced, I was hesitated to drop him off with a dog-sitter, but you have made me feel at ease and build that trust again. In addition, you provided me numerous photos and videos of my baby daily, and that was very helpful as you understand my past experienced. You are truly God send, and I can't thank enough.”
“Aida was a wonderful sitter and my dog had a great time with her! He enjoyed time spent in her large yard, many walks, and an overall comfortable stay. She shared frequent updates and pictures, and was happy to adapt to my dog’s routine and quirks. I felt so comfortable and was able to enjoy my trip, knowing my dog was in fabulous care.”

“I had a wonderful experience with Nikki. She took amazing care of my dog while I was out of town. She was attentive, kept me updated and included photos, which gave me peace of mind. When I came back, my dog was happy, healthy and clearly well-loved. I highly recommend Nikki to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy pet sitter.”

“My dog was well taken care of and Shaun really tried to understand my dog. My dog was allowed to be the dog he is. My dog has developed some social skills with the visit. Shaun really cared about my dog.”

“She was absolutely incredible with my dog Prince. She is very passionate about animals as she way and beyond my expectations. My puppy came home relaxed and happy.”

“This was our first time using Rover for our cat Walt. He is slow to warm up to people but Tabitha was great at the meet and greet just going at his pace and not forcing anything. She stopped by for 2 visits and by the second one he was less shy and approached her more easily. I would definitely recommend Tabitha as she was available on short notice and reliable.”

“Lindsay was fantastic, she really came through and last minute took care of our cats after our previous sitter fell through. Easy to work with, followed all instructions, and was great with our boys. Will definitely have her take care of them again in the future!”

“Laura took such great care of our cat when we were away for a week! The photos and updates provided peace of mind so that we could enjoy our trip without worry. We will definitely be asking Laura to care for our kitty when we go out of town in the future!”

“Sam is the only person that we trust to watch our dogs and he does such an excellent job each time. We've been using Sam for years and plan to continue to use him in the future.”

“I am a return customer. I made a mistake and missed the window to review on her previous visit, so I had to make sure to tell you guys how Jules is awesome. My dogs love her. Jules followed the instructions on feeding them perfectly so it’s like I never left. It’s so peaceful knowing my dogs are in good reliable care. I tell my friends to Book Jules.”

“Raechel is an absolute gem and life saver. A last minute family emergency happened and we had to leave the youngest at home, but Raechel was able to come in and save the day. 10/10.”

“Nicole was great with my cat Butters! He’s a very sweet boy, and loves people so needed someone to board him while I was away instead of being checked in on periodically. Nicole gave him lots of love and attention, and sent lots of pictures and updates so I knew how he was doing.”

“Mariah was great I have a senior cat who is solitary and picky he actually did better than I expected. She sent pictures and daily updates so I wouldn't be concerned. The whole booking process was easy and convenient, I would definitely use her services again. Thank you Mariah”

About: I grew up living with my grandmother and having a cat or 3 in our home. My grandmother often rescued cats and we treated them like a part of our family. Every cat is different so to learn and listen from the owner his/her cat's preferences and style and follow the protocol. I believe owners know their cat and what makes them feel loved and safe. My approach is patient and attentive, especially with cats who need time to warm up to new people. I am experienced with young (playful) and older cats as well as cats who need to be administered meds.

About: I’ve cared for cats with different personalities and needs, from playful kittens to shy seniors. Patient, attentive, experienced with medication administration, and focused on creating calm, trusting environments.
“I was out of town this past weekend and this was the first time I tried Rover to find someone to care for my dogs. Malik was very patient and kind when it came to my somewhat “tedious” instructions when it came to making sure my dogs were properly taken care of. Everything I asked/requested he did it for me with no issue. My only reason why I am leaving you 4 stars and not 5 is because on the last visit, which was the longest/messiest one because of my puppy, I understand you were in a rush so you did leave but it feels like you just did a drop and go and did not complete the job. You left trash in the trash can that you used to help clean up the mess instead of throwing it out , my swiffer was laid face up with a dirty pad on it in my living room right where the puppy is which is a risk etc , and where I live there is very high mice activity that I have been trying to combat so this condition does not help at all with doing so and this alone causes me great anxiety. Literally other than the last bit of the visit I would absolutely book Malik again as my sitter in the future.”

“Susan is our go to. She’s basically our pets’ god mother 🤣. Not only is she a phenomenal pet sitter with cute pics and updates.. But her knowledge of animal behavior is impeccable. 100/10 recommend her to pet sit as well as training sessions. She’s been with us since we first brought our puppy home and has made such a positive impact on her behavior. I always tell my friends/family about her!❤️”

“Colin looked after our cats for a week, and we're grateful! He was reliable and followed our instructions for feeding, water, and the cat boxes. One of our cats is very shy and never showed up for him, but he was able to reassure us that she was around and using her litter box. We will ask him again if we're away.”

“I had a lot of pet sitters that in my life over the years but I never have I met anyone as amazing as a male I called to her in an emergency I was unexpectedly hospitalized for an emergency and she took up the job right away she was very professional she send me many messages with questions or clarifications she even brought all my packages from outside in she sat with my with my older cat that has kidney disease she sat with her for a long time just to make sure that she finishes all her food she definitely has a way with cats like I've rarely seen with other pet sitters I she was very friendly and professional and even checked out on my own health and well-being I will never use another pet sitter again I absolutely recommend her 110%”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for a long time as I’ve had many dogs myself throughout my life! I love animals so much!! I work at a school full time from the end of August until the beginning of June. I will be available full time during the summer Monday-Friday all day! I have a fenced yard where your pupper will be able to walk around freely! I will also take them for walks around the neighborhood and to the park! I am willing to travel to you as well! My senior dog recently passed away and would love company!
“Liz and Jeffery were amazing sitters for my sweet Sadie. I was in the area for work and found them to watch my dog during the day. They went above and beyond to make sure that Sadie was comfortable and well taken care of while I was at work. They truly treated Sadie like she was part of their own family. Sadie was always so happy to go to doggy day care in the morning. If I am ever back in the area, I will definitely book with Liz and Jeffery for any type of care they provide.”

About: 10 years fostering dogs with a local shelter—puppies, medical cases, reactive dogs, seniors, and the shy ones who need extra patience. My favorites are large dogs and blockheads (staffies, rotties, pit mixes), though a small dog sneaks in now and then (frenchies, Havanese, corgi, etc). I'm new to Rover but not to petsitting. I've cared for dogs from families who adopted my fosters for years, and I've been active on Wag! At my house, dogs get on the furniture, play hard, and get spoiled. Belly rubs, butt scratches, and ear massages come standard. My goal is to send your dog home happy, loved and tired. I'm self-employed and work from home when dogs stay with me. (My clients are used to dogs making an appearance during Zoom calls.) I'm a runner so long walks with dogs is just part of the fitness routine. I match my schedule to your dog's feeding and bathroom schedule. Every dog that comes here is treated with patience and care. Some arrive nervous, anxious, or unsure—maybe a potty accident in a new space, maybe hesitant to settle. My job is to help them feel safe, give them time to decompress, and meet them where they are. When they're ready, I'm here for play and snuggles. I have a fenced yard and my property backs up to a park. Dogs get regular walks, plus potty breaks. If a dog needs shorter, lower-key outings, we do on-leash trips to the park right behind the house. If your dog is reactive, we do backyard potty breaks and walk off-peak hours on a specific path to minimize potential sightings of other dogs.

About: I have hands-on experience caring for dogs of different sizes, energy levels, and personalities, including my own dog, Chronos. Through that, I’ve learned how important structure, patience, and consistency are in keeping dogs happy and well-behaved. I’m comfortable managing high-energy dogs, shy or anxious dogs, and maintaining routines like feeding schedules, walks, and playtime. What sets me apart is the level of attention and care I give to each dog. I don’t just “watch” dogs, I actively engage with them through structured walks, play, and enrichment so they’re mentally and physically stimulated. I’m very observant and pick up quickly on behavior changes, which helps me adjust care based on each dog’s needs. I also prioritize clear communication with owners, providing regular updates and photos so you always know how your dog is doing. My goal is to create a safe, clean, and calm environment where your dog feels comfortable, cared for, and at home. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to be present, attentive, and consistent with walks, feeding, and playtime throughout the day. I build my day around the dogs in my care to make sure they get the attention, exercise, and structure they need. I’m available for morning, afternoon, and evening care, and I prioritize maintaining each dog’s usual routine to help them feel comfortable and stress-free. Whether it’s regular walks, play sessions, or just providing a calm environment to relax, I make sure every dog is well cared for and never left unattended for long periods. On weekends, I have even more availability, which allows for extra outdoor time, longer walks, and more engagement. Safety and comfort are my top priorities. In my home, I provide a clean, calm, and structured environment where dogs are always supervised. I introduce dogs carefully, monitor interactions, and can separate them if needed to ensure everyone stays safe and stress-free. I follow each dog’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, walk times, and any specific instructions. I keep doors secured, remove any hazards, and make sure the space is dog-friendly at all times. Dogs are never left unattended for long periods, and I make sure they get a balance of exercise, play, and rest. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident and at ease while you’re away.

About: Hey! My name is Briana and I grew up with groomers and animal rescuers for parents. I was taught how to birth, wean, potty train, and care for many types of animals. I have worked in my parents grooming shop to help over the years and this included walking and bathing dogs. I have not only work experience and lived experience but also my passion for animals especially being a cat/dog mom myself. I have special experience with senior dogs and puppies, including wound care, medicine needs and dedicated time/attention. I can't wait to meet your furry loved one! I work Mon-Sat 7am-12pm at my fulltime job but am able to house sit and do drop ins around that schedule. I would be leaving around 6/630am and back around 12:30/1pm to handle any care needs. I am unable to host animals inside of my home due to my own cat not being a friendly guy. In my clients home I follow all rules set in place as well as keeping your furry loved one comfortable in their existing routines or whatever the client's expectations would be. I prefer taking written directions just so I have something I can always check back to ensure the most efficient care.
“Christine spent the extra time to meet and get to know my German Shepherd girl before walking her. My girl was very comfortable with her and the walk went very well for both of them.”

He took care of my 4 year old yellow Lab Harley like his own. I know, because when I picked him up, he looked happy and calm, smiling and waggling his tail. He was just very happy to see me and very happy where i left him. No signs of anxiety being left in somebody else’s house with a total stranger. I know he had a great time away from home. Another wonderful thing is that Brandon lives in a nice neighborhood and has an awesome big fenced backyard. Perfect for accommodations. I highly recommend Brandon and i am looking forward to booking him again 😊 Thank you so much Brandon!”

“Shanikki was very sweet, my dog Ava adjusted very well. She worked well with us, she even meet with us ahead of time to meet Ava. I will be definitely using Shanikki again.”

“Lidia rescued my cat from another sitter/bad situation. Knowing that my cat had been traumatized, she was very sensitive to my cat’s needs, was kind, gentle, and also kept me in constant touch and with as many pictures and updates as I needed to feel my cat was safe. 12/10 - Lidia is amazing ❤️”

“Morgan was fantastic with my energetic, timid puppy! She was so accommodating with a last minute request (especially since my pup was on his final week of healing from an injury), and made sure my baby felt safe and right at home. This was his first time around children for an extended period of time, and they got along great! So happy my little guy got the attention he needed while also being exposed to new, fun experiences in a safe space.”

“It’s obvious they truly love dogs and take the time to understand each one’s personality and needs. I loved getting regular photo updates throughout his stay. It gave me so much peace of mind to see him playing, cuddling, and looking completely at ease. When I picked him up, he was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for — I don’t think he wanted to leave! I highly recommend this home boarding service to anyone looking for a warm, trustworthy, and loving environment for their loving dog.”

“Kyra is a fantastic sitter! She took great care of my husky during a long weekend trip. She was very accommodating with our pickup time when our flight got delayed due to weather. Will re-book with her again in the future!”

“Nicole was great! Gave us continual updates/pictures & kept my pup active and well taken care of. I would absolutely use Nicole again and recommend her to others!”

“My Teddy Graham had such a great time at Donnell’s! He came home happy, well fed, and well rested. Donnell kept me updated with great photos and details about my dog’s stay the entire time. Having the opportunity to play with their dogs, Bella and Gizmo, was the cherry on top. Teddy Graham can’t wait to go back!”

“Keeran was great - made sure my dog was comfortable and taken care of! Great communicator and very responsive. Lives in a beautiful neighborhood for walks. I can tell my dog was well loved and cared for!”
