They arranged the meet and greet so that we could see that my Phoebe was going to fit into their “system.” Everything went smoothie so she could adjust while I was there. When we returned the next day for the drop off, Phoebe experienced separation anxiety which made me uncomfortable leaving, but within a half an hour Ginny texted me some pics of my girl being calm and sitting with Steve. So I could enjoy my vacation knowing that she was well taken care of. Two very lovely, caring, and capable caregivers.”

We had a meet and great a couple weeks beforehand so she met their dog and sniffed around the backyard. I got periodic updates and photos, which was reassuring. About: I've had dogs of all sizes, from Chihuahua to Great Dane and Great Pyrenees (multiple at a time), over the last fifteen years. I've cared for my rescue pup Dumpling on my own for the last five, and have helped to rehab her into the lovebug she is today. I like talking multiple walks per day, will give your fur baby lots of love and attention, and I work from home so they will always have a watchful over them. I understand how much pet owners love and cherish their babies, so I will treat them like they're my own while I have them. I work remotely full time and can be fairly flexible if needed. I walk my own dog four times a day, and she loves having walk buddies, so we'd of course take your pet along. On the weekends, I like going for extra long walks, so if that's something that your pet enjoys, they'll have a great time with me. I live in an apartment downtown, so I don't have a fenced area, but I let pets have free reign in my apartment. There are also two dog parks within walking distance, so for extra and off-leash play time, we can spend lots of time there.

(My clients are used to dogs making an appearance during Zoom calls.) I'm a runner so long walks with dogs is just part of the fitness routine. I match my schedule to your dog's feeding and bathroom schedule. Every dog that comes here is treated with patience and care. Some arrive nervous, anxious, or unsure—maybe a potty accident in a new space, maybe hesitant to settle. My job is to help them feel safe, give them time to decompress, and meet them where they are. When they're ready, I'm here for play and snuggles. I have a fenced yard and my property backs up to a park. Dogs get regular walks, plus potty breaks. If a dog needs shorter, lower-key outings, we do on-leash trips to the park right behind the house. If your dog is reactive, we do backyard potty breaks and walk off-peak hours on a specific path to minimize potential sightings of other dogs.

I work in DC Monday-Wednesday, but the rest of the week I’m available for boarding and drop ins/walks. I have experience with a ton of breeds, ages, and sizes of pups and am always happy to take them on adventures! Dogs are currently my full time career so you pup with get plenty of attention, playtime, walks, hikes, field trips and training if you so wish. Please adhere to the pick up and drop off windows. Additional fees maybe be added for late booking(within 3days), aggressive dog, weekends, etc. I have a large fenced in yard with over a half acre of room for pups to run and one playful dog. All dogs will be kept separated in their own personal kennels inside the house and given plenty of time outside. Individual time to free roam the house. Possible playtime with other dogs if deemed safe by me and approved by the owner. Also, time to hang out with multiple dogs inside the house as long as everyone is dog friendly.
