About: I have taken care of my own dogs and cats my entire life and cannot remember a time I didn't love them all. My cat is no longer with me but I still have dogs and would love to care for your pets as I currently do my own. I can handle big dogs and little dogs as well as am willing to clean out your cats litterboxes. I'm happy to tussle with big dogs and take naps with lap dogs anytime! I'm a college student looking for work over the breaks and any pet time over the semester as I'll be away from my own. I'm happy to work around my class schedule to be with your pets as much as possible. I have a mostly fenced yard with the only opening being the driveway but intend to do walks and keep pets leashed just for safety. My own home has two dogs that are great with other dogs, both of them being on the smaller side and great with people as well. When I'm up at school there will be no other pets up there and the space will be fully for your pets. I'm also able to do house sitting, walks, and drop-ins for your pets to make sure your pets are getting love and attention when you're away.
“Thank you Virginia for taking care of Benson while we were away. She was so nice and passionate about what she does. Benson had a blast during the stay. He made new friends with other dogs and had a great time playing in the back yard. We consistently received updates on how he is doing. Virginia sent us many photos which are really great. We will definitely use her service again!!”

“Felice and her family were very patience and caring with my Rocksi. She was very well cared for and seemed very happy in her update pictures.”

“Megan was an amazing sitter! Omg! She kept me Updated with my baby’s days! I was Actually really nervous about leaving coco for the first time but she kept me at ease with her amazing communication. She loved coco like she was her own and made sure coco felt at home and loved! Megan is now my #1 sitter! I’m so glad I choose her and we will now use her forever! Thank you for your love and kindness ! 🫶🏿🥰”

“Karla took incredible care of Wow. She sent daily updates describing their activities and included tons of action shots. I felt like she loved my pet as her own! Couldn’t have asked for more.”

“Nautica was great! This was the first time boarding my puppy. Nautica scheduled a meet and greet before I left her. And, she was so accommodating - my schedule changed as my flight was delayed. I will book with her again.”

“I cannot say enough great things about Liz & Jeff. They treated my pup like one of their own his entire stay. They sent me so many pictures and video updates which was so reassuring since I had to go out of town super last minute. I was 30 minutes late picking my pup up due to traffic and they were so accommodating and understanding. 10/10 recommend them! I will definitely be using them again :) thanks again Liz & Jeff!”

“Virginia and her family are lovely. She took such great care of my Macks. It feels so good to get away and know that my girl is also getting a vacation. She had so much fun with Virginia's dogs and her family. I will be excited to book my next trip knowing I can leave my girl in such good hands.”

“We love boarding our 6 year old schnoodle with Meredith and Kevyn. They provide the most wonderful care. Our dog is very sensitive and shy. She also has medical issues like epilepsy that require medicine to be administered at every meal. Even with all of that our dog is always so happy and healthy while with Meredith and Kevyn. We have already booked them for three more trips we are taking throughout the year!”

“It was great to leave my Gus with a stranger! Gus has never been away from me and doesn't get much interaction with dogs. Malik communicated with me the first night to say things were going well and them followed up the next night with a photo! I highly recommend Malik and will use him again!”

“Shruti did an awesome job taking care of our dog Nala while away on our honeymoon. She updated us and let us know how Nala was doing every day. Since we head back home pretty late, she did us the favor of dropping off Nala right at home before we arrived. It made such a big difference in our travel experience. I really appreciated her adaptability and flexibility. Will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Colin looked after our cats for a week, and we're grateful! He was reliable and followed our instructions for feeding, water, and the cat boxes. One of our cats is very shy and never showed up for him, but he was able to reassure us that she was around and using her litter box. We will ask him again if we're away.”

“Amanda was reliable, trustworthy, and responsive. She asked great questions to make sure our furries would be well taken care of. And went above and beyond the call of duty when a bird flew in our house. I am so grateful for her service and will be asking her to sit again.”

“This was our first time using Rover for our cat Walt. He is slow to warm up to people but Tabitha was great at the meet and greet just going at his pace and not forcing anything. She stopped by for 2 visits and by the second one he was less shy and approached her more easily. I would definitely recommend Tabitha as she was available on short notice and reliable.”

About: Hi there! I have been taking care of pets of all kinds for many years. Before recently moving, I worked for an independent pet sitting company for 6 years and truly enjoyed each and every experience I had. I encourage open communication with my clients and am Pet CPR/ First Aid certified in case of any emergencies.
“Grace was communicative and responsive, she sent photos and detailed updates daily during her visits. It was obvious from the photos that she bonded well with our shy cat! Highly recommend. We will definitely be calling on Grace again for future visits!”

“We had an emergency and we’re away from home longer than expected. I contacted Catherine who went to tend to our kitties on short notice and eliminated that worry for us. She saved the day!”

“Susan is our go to. She’s basically our pets’ god mother 🤣. Not only is she a phenomenal pet sitter with cute pics and updates.. But her knowledge of animal behavior is impeccable. 100/10 recommend her to pet sit as well as training sessions. She’s been with us since we first brought our puppy home and has made such a positive impact on her behavior. I always tell my friends/family about her!❤️”
“I was out of town this past weekend and this was the first time I tried Rover to find someone to care for my dogs. Malik was very patient and kind when it came to my somewhat “tedious” instructions when it came to making sure my dogs were properly taken care of. Everything I asked/requested he did it for me with no issue. My only reason why I am leaving you 4 stars and not 5 is because on the last visit, which was the longest/messiest one because of my puppy, I understand you were in a rush so you did leave but it feels like you just did a drop and go and did not complete the job. You left trash in the trash can that you used to help clean up the mess instead of throwing it out , my swiffer was laid face up with a dirty pad on it in my living room right where the puppy is which is a risk etc , and where I live there is very high mice activity that I have been trying to combat so this condition does not help at all with doing so and this alone causes me great anxiety. Literally other than the last bit of the visit I would absolutely book Malik again as my sitter in the future.”

“Liz and Jeffrey were so wonderful with Lola and Daisy! It was fairly last minute and they were incredibly understanding. They provided a lot of information about their home and care that made me feel so much better about dropping my girls off with them. They even got to attend the eclipse viewing party with some fabulous kids!! They provided lots of updates and videos which helped me enjoy a long day at work. One of the best Rover experiences I've ever had, if not the very best!!”

“Anna & Christina were wonderful taking care of Sugi while I was in town for work in Cleveland. They were very communicative, punctual, sending updates + pictures. Would definitely be bringing Sugi back!”

About: With over 20 years of experience, what truly sets me apart is my deep, professional understanding of animal behavior and my commitment to treating every pet as an individual. This isn't just a job for me—it's a passion built on a lifetime of caring for animals. My specialized skills ensure your pet receives the highest level of care: Senior Pet Care: I have extensive experience providing patient, gentle care for older pets, including administering medication, assisting with mobility, and recognizing subtle signs of discomfort. Puppy and Kitten Training: I'm skilled in continuing your training efforts, from reinforcing house training and crate training to teaching basic commands like sit, stay, and come. Medical Care: I'm fully comfortable and experienced in administering various medications, including pills, topical creams, and injections. I also have a keen eye for noticing early health changes and will communicate with you immediately. Feline-Specific Expertise: I'm not just a dog sitter; I'm a cat person, too. I understand feline body language and the need for a calm, respectful approach to win a cat's trust. While other sitters might offer walks and feedings, I offer peace of mind. You can relax knowing your pet is not just being cared for, but is thriving in the hands of a true professional. I’ve built my routine to be fully flexible around my pet sitting commitments. Because I'm a full-time pet care provider, your pet's needs are the centerpiece of my day. I don't have a strict 9-to-5 job; my "office hours" are your pet's schedule. My days are naturally divided into morning routines, midday playtime and walks, and evening care. This structure allows me to handle multiple clients in a day without ever rushing. It means your dog gets their midday walk on time, and your cat gets their evening meal at the exact moment they're used to When your pet stays with me, they become a part of my family. My home provides a safe, comfortable, and cage-free environment where your pet can relax and play just like they do at home. I have a [mention a specific feature, e.g., fully fenced yard, a dedicated play area, a large cozy living room], and I limit the number of pets I host at one time to ensure every guest gets plenty of one-on-one attention and care. A typical day in my home includes: Morning: A refreshing walk and potty break, followed by breakfast. Midday: Plenty of supervised playtime, cuddles, and rest. Evening: A final walk, dinner, and a relaxing evening to wind down. I'll follow your instructions to the letter, whether it's a special diet or a medication schedule, and will send you regular photo and video updates so you can see your pet enjoying their vacation.
“My pup didn’t want to leave when i came to pick him up!! My puppy Sulley clearly received such great care and attention from both Carly and her family. Their dog Oliver was also sweet and playful with Sulley as well! I already plan to book with Carly again!”

About: 10 years fostering dogs with a local shelter—puppies, medical cases, reactive dogs, seniors, and the shy ones who need extra patience. My favorites are large dogs and blockheads (staffies, rotties, pit mixes), though a small dog sneaks in now and then (frenchies, Havanese, corgi, etc). I'm new to Rover but not to petsitting. I've cared for dogs from families who adopted my fosters for years, and I've been active on Wag! At my house, dogs get on the furniture, play hard, and get spoiled. Belly rubs, butt scratches, and ear massages come standard. My goal is to send your dog home happy, loved and tired. I'm self-employed and work from home when dogs stay with me. (My clients are used to dogs making an appearance during Zoom calls.) I'm a runner so long walks with dogs is just part of the fitness routine. I match my schedule to your dog's feeding and bathroom schedule. Every dog that comes here is treated with patience and care. Some arrive nervous, anxious, or unsure—maybe a potty accident in a new space, maybe hesitant to settle. My job is to help them feel safe, give them time to decompress, and meet them where they are. When they're ready, I'm here for play and snuggles. I have a fenced yard and my property backs up to a park. Dogs get regular walks, plus potty breaks. If a dog needs shorter, lower-key outings, we do on-leash trips to the park right behind the house. If your dog is reactive, we do backyard potty breaks and walk off-peak hours on a specific path to minimize potential sightings of other dogs.
“Jasmine is great!! This is my first time using Rover, and I am glad I found her. She is super responsible - asking me about daily routine; taking my dog outside for walk etc. Easy to communicate as well! Highly recommend 🥰🥰”

“Samantha is a great walker and Emet loves her! She came over to meet him before the scheduled walk and made sure she fully understood his needs. She arrived on time to his walk and he seemed to have a fun time and is now all tired out.”

“Tabitha is an incredible sitter and companion for my dog Scout. I can see the care and detail she takes in playing with him and making him feel important. I travel a lot for work and it’s just me so it’s always stressful knowing I have to leave my dog behind. But I’m always assured he’s in great hands with Tabitha. Thank you for all that you do. It truly matters.”

About: *My booking is fully closed at this time* Hey! My name is Briana and I grew up with groomers and animal rescuers for parents. I was taught how to birth, wean, potty train, and care for many types of animals. I have worked in my parents grooming shop to help over the years and this included walking and bathing dogs. I have not only work experience and lived experience but also my passion for animals especially being a cat/dog mom myself. I have special experience with senior dogs and puppies, including wound care, medicine needs and dedicated time/attention. I can't wait to meet your furry loved one! I work Mon-Sat 7am-12pm at my fulltime job but am able to house sit and do drop ins around that schedule. I would be leaving around 6/630am and back around 12:30/1pm to handle any care needs. I am unable to host animals inside of my home due to my own cat not being a friendly guy. In my clients home I follow all rules set in place as well as keeping your furry loved one comfortable in their existing routines or whatever the client's expectations would be. I prefer taking written directions just so I have something I can always check back to ensure the most efficient care.

He made new friends with other dogs and had a great time playing in the back yard. We consistently received updates on how he is doing. Virginia sent us many photos which are really great. We will definitely use her service again!!”

“Karla took incredible care of Wow. She sent daily updates describing their activities and included tons of action shots. I felt like she loved my pet as her own! Couldn’t have asked for more.”

“Brandon was a lifesaver! He took great care of my over active super energetic puppy! He was very accommodating and our dog loved playing with his gorgeous fur baby!!”

“Shanikki was taking care of our dog for around three weeks. Shanikki really took care of our dog and her special needs, was very communicative and responsible. We look forward to work with Shanikki in a future opportunity.”

“Wonderful person and family. Provided lots of pics to ease my mind because this was our first time. Allowed us to do a meet and greet the day before and was so accommodating to his allergy needs. Will definitely use again.”
“Reynaldo has been great in accommodating our dog and we have gone back several times! We even brought our dog over a couple days before his first stay to say hello and get familiar with the environment—all went super smooth and it was obvious Reynaldo was very experienced with animals. He provides daily updates with photos and is extremely prompt with answering any questions or concerns. Our pup always comes back exhausted from a fun time with Reynaldo and playing with other dogs!”

“It’s obvious they truly love dogs and take the time to understand each one’s personality and needs. I loved getting regular photo updates throughout his stay. It gave me so much peace of mind to see him playing, cuddling, and looking completely at ease. When I picked him up, he was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for — I don’t think he wanted to leave! I highly recommend this home boarding service to anyone looking for a warm, trustworthy, and loving environment for their loving dog.”

“Morgan took exceptional care of our 3-year-old Cavapoo, Charli, while we were away for a week. This was Charli’s first time staying with a non-family member, and we were understandably nervous. We initially tried a doggie hotel and did several daycare visits beforehand, but Charli was still anxious, which made us even more concerned about leaving her. We were then referred to an in-home pet sitter who connected us with Morgan, and from the moment we met her, we knew Charli would be in great hands. Morgan welcomed Charli with very little notice and immediately put both us and our pup at ease. She sent the cutest pictures and updates, which helped us feel relaxed and confident while we were away. Charli was clearly well cared for, loved, and comfortable. We would absolutely love for Charli to attend Morgan’s daycare once or twice a week to maintain social interaction with other dogs and people. Thank you, Morgan, for taking such wonderful care of our fur baby—we are so grateful!”

“Will definitely use Lidia again. Very responsive and communicative. She sent multiple updates and pics. Awesome backyard for animals to play and nice high Privacy fence. Her dog and cat are very friendly and chill. Great vibes all around. Highly recommend.”

“I couldn’t have asked for better care for our dog, Frankie, while we were away! He was loved on, spoiled and well cared for and I know he enjoyed his stay during HIS little vacation! Theresa was amazing at communicating and sending photos all weekend which really helped put me at ease. We are looking forward to Frankie’s next vacation at Theresa’s!”

“Kionte is AMAZING!! He did a phenomenal job taking care of my dog, Maxwell. He sent me tons of pictures of them having fun and he followed my instructions perfectly considering my dog unfortunately has to take medications temporarily which made it a bit more challenging. Kionte was incredibly responsive and communicated throughout the entire time he watched my dog. I will definitely be using Kionte again soon for helping watch Maxwell. Thank you again!!!”

“Kelly is awesome! My dog Marbles seemed to have a great time playing with the other dogs and her kids. She’s also great at communicating and flexible with pick up time. We will definitely be going back!”

“Jasmine was able to fit us in last minute. She was great with our golden retriever. We received updates and our pup was calm and happy when we picked her up. Will use her services again!”

“I had a wonderful experience with Nikki. She took amazing care of my dog while I was out of town. She was attentive, kept me updated and included photos, which gave me peace of mind. When I came back, my dog was happy, healthy and clearly well-loved. I highly recommend Nikki to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy pet sitter.”
