“I’m so grateful that I found Kassandra to board my dog, Benji! The consistent updates and photos provided throughout, gave me such peace of mind while I was away. Kassandra and her adorable son will love your dog like their own to make the absence easier on your pup. Oh, and benji got spoiled with that amazing fenced in yard! 10/10 recommend.”

“Mocha has found her home away from home! We are so pleased with the care our girl Mocha received with Nicole and her family. After seeing the pics and updates, my son was afraid Mocha would not want to come home with us! She was loved and treated as a part of their family. I have already asked if it would be ok to become a repeat client. Best choice ever!!!!”

“Demetrius watched our dog Taz and quickly became one of his favorite people!!! We got updates throughout the day about how well they were doing together. It usually takes Taz a long time to warm up to people, leading us to consider Demetrius a dog whisperer!!! We are so grateful for him and look forward to bringing Taz back to stay with him and Sebastian again in the future! Highly recommend!”

“Fatty had the absolute best time staying with her family. He was showered with affection, got tons of cuddles, and even got treated to pup cups. He loved them so much and we are so happy he has an open invitation to return anytime. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will love their dog like family!”

“Michelle was absolutely amazing with my baby! She watched her for two nights while I was away on business travel, and I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. She kept me updated with pictures and videos, responded promptly, and every single picture she sent had my baby smiling! 🥹❤️ I could tell she was safe, happy, and getting plenty of activity and attention. Michelle also had all of my baby’s things organized and ready to go when I arrived for pickup, which I really appreciated. It gave me so much peace of mind being away. I would definitely trust Michelle with my baby again! 🐾💕 Book with her.”

“Amazing! - Our dog stayed for a little over 2 weeks and we consistently received updates and proactive communication. We had to add a few days and it worked with scheduling. Thanks so much, will send her back!!”

“Lia was AMAZING. If I could give her 10 stars I would. She made my fur baby feel like he was at home. She communicated with me his entire stay she even sent videos. I definitely will be using Lia again and I recommend anyone with fur babies to book with her as well”

“I was impressed how Sarah kept me abreast on how my dog was doing and with pictures. That made it more personable and helped to relieve any anxiety I had being away. She showed that she cared and that meant a lot. I highly recommend Sarah for boarding needs.”

About: I know how special our pets are in our lives. I will bring the same care, love and affection I have provided for my own fur babies to yours. Pet care fits into my schedule during the morning and afternoon hours around 4 pm. I am pretty flexible with my schedule so can adjust when needed. Much like children I have babysat in the past - keeping a safe environment is vital to everyone’s safety. With pets this is the same principle. Making sure everyone is safe and happy is my top priority.
“Steph is wonderful! She did a meet and greet with Oaklee and myself which is nice we knew where she was staying. She kept my mind at ease the entire time Oaklee was in her care by sending pictures and videos. Oaklee and me say thank you so much Steph! 100% would bring Oaklee back and use Steph!”

“Took great care of my older dog. And my older dog has issues with food and people but regardless of those issues she still took great care of her and gave good updates.”

“Aida sent pictures daily and made sweet observations about our pup, letting me know she sees him for who he is! She showed enormous patience and understanding. Will definitely rebook!”

“This was my 1st time using a sitter and Miss Lisa was awesome!! I was away on vacation for, four days and Bruno didn’t miss a beat. She sent videos and even video called me. You can tell she really loves looking after your pet. I will be using her again for the future”

“Liz is amazing! This was my first time leaving my dog with someone and I was nervous but she made everything so easy. She took such great care of my dog that I think he misses her now. We will be booking again in a few weeks ☺️☺️☺️”

“Anna & Christian were great! They were very accommodating to Nahla. They did a meet and greet to make sure she would be comfortable during her stay. They were very communicative and sent updates and pics. They made sure Nahla was comfortable despite her having allergy flare ups. They had no problem giving her medication. I appreciate the care they provided. I would definitely recommend.”
“Meagan, Chris, and pups, Butter, and Lucy took great care of Ozzie. Ozzie does not always warm up to strangers immediately but felt at home with them burrowing under their blankets and sleeping in their pup beds. They provided daily report of Ozzie antics and photos keeping me posted. Meagan really loved Ozzie and animals in general, and adjust to them easily. It was evident Ozzie enjoyed his staycation. We will definitely board Ozzie at their place in the future.”

“This was my first time using the app and first time leaving my newly adopted dog for a few days. Rebecca was a rockstar! She took care of my baby just as if he was her own and send me picture updates of their adventures. She was very professional and loving towards my boy, Tugboat. Will definitely be coming back next time I go out of town! Thanks again Rebecca!!”

“Ivan was absolutely wonderful. He provided daily photos and updates which was incredibly reassuring, as this is the first time I’ve hired a professional pet sitter in several years. My cats (even the shy one!) loved him and the house was in great shape when I returned. Would definitely book again!”

“Sarah did an amazing job looking after my ~9 month old cat while I was gone! She sent lots of photo updates to let me know that things were okay, and the my baby seemed very well taken care of. She cleaned the litter box and gave her lots of fresh water, just like I asked. I would definitely use her services again!”

“Emma is such a wonderful sitter for our cats. She sends pictures and updates, and was even able to cover an extra day at the last minute when we had travel delays. 5 stars!”

“Autumn did a great job with my 2 cats! I felt at ease knowing she would have be caring for them. She sent multiple photos of both cats at all visits. She is punctual and professional. I highly recommend and will be rebooking soon.”

“I hired Margaret after I’d already flown to the west coast for a family emergency. No get-to-know you meeting, just trust. She was fantastic, with great communication. It took multiple visits before my cat, Maude, known to be very shy with strangers, would come out of hiding. But Margaret was calm and patient and eventually Maude came out for cuddles. I got pictures each visit, so even when Maude was hiding I knew she was fine. I highly recommend Margaret for drop-in petsitting.”

“Kathleen was a lifesaver. We were away for a day trip and had scheduled her to walk our dog mid-day. While we were on the trip we had an emergency that made it impossible for us to get home to walk and feed our dog that evening as planned. Kathleen was quick to respond and helped us out last-minute for a second visit the same day.”

“Brianna was great! She boarded my cat for 6 days and took great care of her and sent daily updates and photos. She was super flexible with the booking and pick up and drop off! Would definitely recommend booking with her!😊”

About: Animals have been in my family for as long as I could remember! When it was my time to take care of them, I loved them till my heart broke. I took care of my first ever pet fish, Rudolph, in elementary school till his last moments of life, the fish life can be simple but the work put into the fishes care can help create a fun and relaxing environment. After Rudolph, I have the pleasure of having the family dog Angel. A lovely pit bull mix, who made being fun and rambunctious seem to be the best characteristics in life. Later when I started high school, I had my first cat Lucy, who lived for a very long time until my junior year in college. I understood that cats are very laid-back, however I also understood that each cat has a unique personality, and like humans, take some time to see their personality. Very recently I take care of 2 cats with my mom named Rambo and Misty, we have had these kittens turned cats for a year and they still show me more and more how each cat is unique. I take care of these cats by providing a space of care, most people may think that cats are easy animals because they take care of themselves, but I realize that cats need to be taken care of as well in ways of having someone to play with, to having someone to cuddle with to having someone clean their litter box every day. My motto with animals is that, they should be treated with the same respect of humans. They should receive similar care and loving that we give to humans because of how much they do for us. And with my experience I have seen plenty of animals and I am always open to learning more about them. I have recently graduated from undergrad at McDaniel so as I am finding my footing in the world I currently strive to care for animals in my free time. With that I currently take care of my 2 cats almost every other hour, to feed them or to provide them cuddles and pets and when they need food or clean water bowls, I ensure they are done with integrity. I hope with the chance of taking care of your pets, I will have a new weekly routine. As mentioned, with my 2 cats, I let them get to know me in ways that can establish a sense of trust within me. Sticking to the daily routine of my client can help that process stick to where we can possibly make new connections similar to best friends creating a handshake to show the world their unique relationship, I would strive to do the same with your pets. When pets are seeing someone new they are nervous like humans, and if I can make sure when they see me, they can relax and possibly have fun I have done my job as a sitter, or a walker!
“Grace was communicative and responsive, she sent photos and detailed updates daily during her visits. It was obvious from the photos that she bonded well with our shy cat! Highly recommend. We will definitely be calling on Grace again for future visits!”

“Raechel took excellent care of my 2 cats while I was away on vacation! She was very responsive to my initial request and I had no trouble scheduling a meet and greet. Raechel asked great questions about their care and went above and beyond to engage with my two shy cats. She checked in on them twice a day and sent many pictures after each visit. She left detailed messages about their feeding and activity, so I never worried or had to reach out with questions while I was away. She even played calming music and cat tv, so that they weren’t too anxious or bored. I was happy to see that they warmed up to her and didn’t just hide when she visited as they typically do with strangers. One of my cats is very particular about needing a clean litter box and has had accidents with past sitters. I am so happy that this wasn’t the case with Raechel’s care! It was wonderful to return to my apartment with no messes and peaceful unstressed cats. I highly recommended Raechel and look forward to working with her in the future!”

“Rachel was great! She was very good with my cats, one of which is very temperamental but warmed up to her her! We would definitely book her again for help in the future. Easy 5 stars!”

“Vita was amazing and had great communication with drop-in visits! She updated me with pictures and I could tell my cat felt very comfortable with her, I would love to have her cat-sit again in the future!”

“We had an emergency and we’re away from home longer than expected. I contacted Catherine who went to tend to our kitties on short notice and eliminated that worry for us. She saved the day!”

“Kyra did a fantastic job watching my three meow meows while I was traveling. I have battery operated food bowls (long story) and she even replaced them when needed! (Of course I forgot to leave replacements, so above and beyond to replace them.) Would definitely hire again.”

About: I grew up living with my grandmother and having a cat or 3 in our home. My grandmother often rescued cats and we treated them like a part of our family. Every cat is different so to learn and listen from the owner his/her cat's preferences and style and follow the protocol. I believe owners know their cat and what makes them feel loved and safe. My approach is patient and attentive, especially with cats who need time to warm up to new people. I am experienced with young (playful) and older cats as well as cats who need to be administered meds.

“It was an interesting day in Cleveland. They were so sweet to roll with the changes for me from the change of times on the baseball game due to rain. Lexi had a wonderful peaceful time. She enjoyed their company and was a really good girl because she really felt loved. I highly recommend them.”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 12 years, and I treat every pup like they’re part of my own family. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing fetch, sticking to a routine, or simply relaxing with company, I adapt to their personality and needs. My goal is simple: give you peace of mind while making sure your dog feels safe, loved, and genuinely excited to come back. You’ll receive regular photo updates, clear communication, and dependable care from someone who understands that pets aren’t just animals—they’re family. Clean home. Reliable care. Happy dogs. Happy humans. I work from home so my schedule is flexible, which allows me to give dogs plenty of attention throughout the day. I also provide photo and video updates so you always know how your best friend is doing. My home features a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor play in a smoke-free environment. I care for every dog based on their individual routine, personality, and needs, whether they’re an energetic puppy or a laid-back senior. I’m comfortable administering oral medications, following crate-training routines, and maintaining the structure your dog is used to at home. I host only one family of pets at a time, allowing me to provide personalized attention without the stress of overcrowding. Dogs are left alone for no more than 1-2 hours a day.
About: I've had dogs of all sizes, from Chihuahua to Great Dane and Great Pyrenees (multiple at a time), over the last fifteen years. I've cared for my rescue pup Dumpling on my own for the last five, and have helped to rehab her into the lovebug she is today. I like talking multiple walks per day, will give your fur baby lots of love and attention, and I work from home so they will always have a watchful over them. I understand how much pet owners love and cherish their babies, so I will treat them like they're my own while I have them. I work remotely full time and can be fairly flexible if needed. I walk my own dog four times a day, and she loves having walk buddies, so we'd of course take your pet along. On the weekends, I like going for extra long walks, so if that's something that your pet enjoys, they'll have a great time with me. I live in an apartment downtown, so I don't have a fenced area, but I let pets have free reign in my apartment. There are also two dog parks within walking distance, so for extra and off-leash play time, we can spend lots of time there.

“Sausage had another wonderful time with Veronica, Caleb and their fur family. I recently found out that Harper, the matriarch of Veronica’s pick of Westies, has taken a special interest in Sausage and is very protective of him. Makes me feel so reassured to know that I’m addition to Veronica and Caleb’s watchful eyes, Sausage has Harper looking after him too. 4 paws way up!!!”

“Jasmine is great!! This is my first time using Rover, and I am glad I found her. She is super responsible - asking me about daily routine; taking my dog outside for walk etc. Easy to communicate as well! Highly recommend 🥰🥰”

“Michelle has been so great with my sweet Paris that even though we don’t need her services often, Paris gets excited the moment we pull up (knowing exactly where we are) and is never sad to see me leave, lol! She’s happy when I pick her up but has clearly had a great time with Michelle and any other pups around. Michelle has simply been amazing to work with as she’s navigated some of my own challenging schedule issues with grace during an already difficult time. I am so grateful.”

“Sonoma had a GREAT first day at Peter’s. He sent pictures throughout the day. And flight cancellations meant we picked her up hours later than expected, but Peter was super flexible.”

About: 10 years fostering dogs with a local shelter—puppies, medical cases, reactive dogs, seniors, and the shy ones who need extra patience. My favorites are large dogs and blockheads (staffies, rotties, pit mixes), though a small dog sneaks in now and then (frenchies, Havanese, corgi, etc). I'm new to Rover but not to petsitting. I've cared for dogs from families who adopted my fosters for years, and I've been active on Wag! At my house, dogs get on the furniture, play hard, and get spoiled. Belly rubs, butt scratches, and ear massages come standard. My goal is to send your dog home happy, loved and tired. I'm self-employed and work from home when dogs stay with me. (My clients are used to dogs making an appearance during Zoom calls.) I'm a runner so long walks with dogs is just part of the fitness routine. I match my schedule to your dog's feeding and bathroom schedule. Every dog that comes here is treated with patience and care. Some arrive nervous, anxious, or unsure—maybe a potty accident in a new space, maybe hesitant to settle. My job is to help them feel safe, give them time to decompress, and meet them where they are. When they're ready, I'm here for play and snuggles. I have a fenced yard and my property backs up to a park. Dogs get regular walks, plus potty breaks. If a dog needs shorter, lower-key outings, we do on-leash trips to the park right behind the house. If your dog is reactive, we do backyard potty breaks and walk off-peak hours on a specific path to minimize potential sightings of other dogs.
“Robin made it really easy to drop my dog off and pick him up. He had a great playdate while we were going out for lunch. Robin sent lots of cute pictures and videos.”

“Elizabeth and her pup have been amazing with Oliver! He clearly loves getting to have playtime during daycare with her, it’s exactly the socialization and fun that we want for him!”

“I left Coco with Alicia for the day while work was being done in my house. Often when I leave her with someone she pulls on her leash and wants to come with me but this time she seemed to be happy staying with Alicia and Nala. It was as if I wasn't even there! Alicia took good care of Coco. I look forward to leaving Coco with her again.”

“Taylor was great! He was communicative, friendly, and provided frequent updates on our mini-Aussie. He watched our dog twice, and we felt extremely comfortable leaving our pup with him both times. Highly recommend using Taylor if you're in the Kingston area!”

“Nick is absolutely wonderful with my puppy Raven, he gets a lot of play time, walks, rest and attention and comes home tired from a fun filled day. Definitely bringing my doggy back!!”

“Kristen was super friendly, responsive and flexible, asked lots of questions about Finn, and clearly loves animals! Finn can be a bit anxious when with a new sitter, and he didn’t hesitate to run right up to her and make himself at home. She sent pictures throughout the day and kept me updated. I felt incredibly comfortable leaving Finn with Kristen and was confident through his stay that he was being not just well taken care of but also getting lots of love and attention. I’d highly recommend Kristen!”

“I couldn’t be happier with our dog sitter! He’s incredibly prompt and always available—even on short notice, which has been a lifesaver more than once. It’s clear he genuinely loves my dog, and that kind of care and attention means a lot to me. He also has his own dog, so mine gets a built-in playmate and comes home happy and well-exercised every time. It’s such a relief knowing my dog is not just being watched, but truly cared for and enjoying the experience. Highly recommend!”

“Sarah was amazing and super communicative! She took great care of Pinot and sent me a ton of pics which I appreciate so much!! I will definitely work with her again :)”

“I can’t say enough good things about Emma! I highly recommend her. She is so considerate to your and your pets’ needs, always timely, detailed in all of her walk reports, and takes the best pictures! I have had her for weekly walks with my fur baby for the past year and can say with trust and confidence, she’s one of the best.”

“Dominique made our trip to DC so much better. She sent a card summarizing the walk and where they went, how far and the doggy business. We really appreciated Dominique!”

About: I have been passionate about animals, particularly dogs, since I was a young girl. As I grew up, I have had several dogs (and cats!) of my own, and in my free time, I love to take care of family and friends' dogs. I have dog/cat sit for all ages, from puppies to senior dogs, kittens to elderly cats, big to small, reactive to docile; I love them all! I am currently between jobs, so any time that works for you and your pet works for me! Also happy to brave any weather if your pet is. I like to get acquainted with the pet through their human first: likes, dislikes, triggers (particularly sounds or things), health history (in case of any major surgeries or recoveries), diet, allergies, training, and, most importantly, favorite toys/treats.

About: I’ve been the primary caregiver of our family dog for over a decade (miss you Luna!). She was small but feisty and I have experience taking care of dogs of all sizes and ages for friends and family! I’m a grad student and have classes and my internship to attend to Monday through Thursday, but am free in the evenings those days, and all day on the weekends! I have a peaceful home downtown for pets to roam around in, and a small, fenced outdoor space and nearby park to walk around with them.
“Danika did great walking Spunky. She kept a brisk pace to keep my dog active but she also stopped to let Spunky sniff and smell things. Spunky is very happy and comfortable with Danika which isn’t always the case because my dog is a rescue pup. Danika arrived on time and is very professional, I will be using her services again in the future.”

“SJ is wonderful to work with. The notes they provided after the daily walks meant so much to me while I was away from my fur-baby. Highly, highly recommend.”

About: Hi, please call me Jupiter :) Pets have been in my life since I was six, and in one way or another I've found myself responsible for the care of one since I was ten or so! Whether it be family, friends, or a stray - I adore animals! I pride myself in my approach to pets as I do with children: be firm, but respectful. Understand boundaries and do my best to read the situation with what information I'm given and what I can infer from there. Its always great to immediately bond with a furry friend, but all living beings deserve basic respect and compassion! I've met very few pets I didn't hit it off with, but even my great aunt's black cat, old and cranky as he is, let me feed him and exist nearby without claws (as is his M.O. with anyone who isn't his owner). Long story short, I adore all the fauna earth has to offer and make it my mission to successfully cohabitate at minimum, and a strong bond more often :) I now have a car again! I work 5p to 8p Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday and 8a-8p Thursday! The day time hours are subject to change based on the gig but I'm currently off weekends and don't mind working you and your furry friend into my schedule! Overnights are fine though Id have to leave early on 12 hour days - coming back after isn't an issue for longer stays! Drop ins are extra welcome at the moment :) While I cannot board, I take care to leave a home as I found it, if not better. I prioritize learning and writing specific safety and miscellaneous expectations for easy access, and default keep doors locked + my shoes off. I also think it's important to not disrupt set routines, so if a furry friend needs to be crated by a certain time, an alarm fifteen or twenty minutes prior is key to be timely and have grace if said pet may not love crate time.
“Sophia did great with her drop-ins and walks for our young beagle, who can be very energetic and a bit of a handful. He was very happy and we could tell he had expended his puppy energy during the walks. She was always on time and communicated extremely well. We will definitely be asking Sophia back!”

About: I was raised with all kinds of pets and always took part in their care. I am a lover of all animals and could never pick between cats or dogs! My warm demeanor and friendly disposition allows pets to feel comfortable with me quickly and easily. I’m super enthusiastic about animal care and would be honored to shower your fur baby with love. Since I work from home with a flexible schedule, I am easily able to pop in and care for your pets when you’re not around. I care for pets first and foremost with love, patience, and compassion. The specifics of how you would like your pet cared for are yours to create, and I will always do my best to accommodate. Whether your pet needs a medication, has a specific personality that requires extra attention, or any other special need, I am here to create the safe and trusting environment they require.
About: I grew up with five dogs, loved it so much that I dog sat other dogs in my community. My dream is to own land filled with horses and other beautiful animals. I am currently working full time as a Front Desk Supervisor at a hotel and have a flexible work shift to offer all the love and attention to every pet. I have plenty of space for an apartment, a large living room connecting a patio on the terrace floor. I also have open space in my dining room and living room.
“Dylan has been so great with my dog. She treats him just as I would. Dylan is not just reliable; she's become an integral part of my dog's daily routine and I never worry when Dylan is taking care of him. Dylan's communication is top-notch too. She sends me updates and photos, giving me peace of mind during the workday. She goes the extra mile, quite literally, by varying their routes, so my dog stays engaged and stimulated. I couldn't recommend Dylan more highly. She's not just a dog walker; she's a trusted companion to my beloved pet. If you're looking for a dog walker who genuinely cares, look no further. Dylan is simply the best!”

“Liz is amazing! This was my first time leaving my dog with someone and I was nervous but she made everything so easy. She took such great care of my dog that I think he misses her now. We will be booking again in a few weeks ☺️☺️☺️”

“Shruti was super patient with Flora, and provided plenty of updates and photos without me having to ask. I will definitely be asking her to keep Flora again!”

“Shanikki was great! Watched Coal over the weekend, and I could tell from the start he'd have a good time and be safe under her care. Space was more than accommodating for my dog, and she showed him a lot of love and attention to help manage his separation anxiety. Also had great communication and updates on him with very prompt responses. Will definitely book again. ✨️”

“Junie comes back happy and healthy! We received lots of great pictures of her walks and hangout time with dog friends. Julia is quick to respond to messages and knows a lot about dog behavior.”

“She treated Flint very well and he came back looking so happy and comfortable, which I have yet to see from him with sitting/boarding. Will definitely be using her in the future”
“Ashley was a great sitter! Took very good care of my dog and sent plenty of pictures. She was also very flexible when I had some last minute travel changes. Would definitely recommend!”

“First, thank you for taking care of Asher you really treat him as your own. For all the updates and pictures that they sent my little boy really enjoyed and had fun during his stay. Definitely will book them again in the future. They were really a star sitter.”

“Jasmine was able to fit us in last minute. She was great with our golden retriever. We received updates and our pup was calm and happy when we picked her up. Will use her services again!”

“Karla is super responsive and took the best care of our dog, Ruthie. Ruthie can be pretty particular in her older age, and she was so comfortable with Karla. Loved the detailed updates and many photos! Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone.”

“April took great care of our dog Charlie! She was very attentive and was flexible with some last minute medication our dog needed. She was also on top of keeping us updated throughout his stay.”

“Nathalie does it again. My favorite boarder. My dog has separation anxiety but Nathalie always sends me updates, videos of her playing. IT makes times i have to leave town so stress-free”
