“My lhasa apso is very attached to us and shows high anxiety when a family member is not around, even to the point of vomiting when my daughter went away on a trip in June. I was very nervous about leaving him during our family vacation, but Sarah and her family went above and beyond to make sure that Oliver was comfortable. He received lots of belly rubs and attention, went on nice walks and trips to the dog park, and became BFF's with Jack, their beagle. Sarah sent numerous pictures at least twice a day, and my favorites were of Oliver and Jack snuggling together. Seeing this pictures greatly helped my own anxiety at being so far away from my fur baby. Sarah also gave updates. Her family just really seemed to understand dogs. She was not upset when Oliver had "marked a piece of furniture" but was totally cool about it; similarly, when I warned her that Oliver is prone to throwing up when away from his family, her response was, "we have hardwood floors so it's easy to clean up." Oliver had a wonderful experience with Sarah, Jack, and the rest of the family, and I recommend her for anyone and especially those with anxious pups.”

As he spent the majority of his life as a puppy mill papa, Remi can be challenging. As a teacher and a mom, Danielle had the skills and patience to work with him. She kept us updated throughout the weekend and it was easy to see the Remi was happy and content. I’m fairly certain Remi didn’t want to come home !! We couldn’t be happier to have found someone to care for our dog like one of her own! Next time we need somebody to care for our pup, she will absolutely be our first call!”

I've cared for my rescue pup Dumpling on my own for the last five, and have helped to rehab her into the lovebug she is today. I understand how much pet owners love and cherish their babies, so I will treat them like they're my own while I have them. I work remotely full time and can be fairly flexible if needed. I walk my own dog four times a day, and she loves having walk buddies, so we'd of course take your pet along. On the weekends, I like going for extra long walks, so if that's something that your pet enjoys, they'll have a great time with me. I live in an apartment downtown, so I don't have a fenced area, but I let pets have free reign in my apartment. There are also two dog parks within walking distance, so for extra and off-leash play time, we can spend lots of time there.

About: 10 years ago I worked at wagmore dogs and since I’ve taken my skills to my community and taken care of family and friends pets when they went out of town or when they simply did overtime at work I only work my full time 3/4 days a week and it gives me ample time to take care of pets.mid week and weekend availability I can easily crate your dog if needed but I typically clean up after every little thing your fur babies do. About: I'm a life-long dog owner and have had cats much of my life. Years of volunteering at animal shelters has given me real, hands-on confidence with all kinds of animals and temperaments, including the reactive and anxious ones who need a calm, patient hand. I'm comfortable administering medication, managing mobility limitations, special needs, and the kind of quirks that make pet parents nervous to leave instructions for a new sitter. I also have advanced training for working with dogs with behavior challenges, training protocols, dog and cat body language, and I am currently in the process of getting certified in pet first aid and CPR. No matter the animal, the basics stay the same: sticking to their routine, and sending updates and check-ins so you're never wondering how things are going. Your pet is in calm, capable hands. For walks and drop-ins, I keep things low-key: familiar environment, familiar routine, minimal disruption to their day. About: In college, I helped my friend raise a seeing-eye dog in training for two years. We had him from the time he was 6 weeks old until he went back to the Seeing Eye at 1 and 1/2 years. This gave me experience training puppies, and since the Seeing Eye had strict standards, I can be as tough or as gentle as you need. I love also playing or just hanging out with dogs, so however energetic or relaxed you dog is, I can handle it. Since college, I have watched friends's dogs from anywhere between quick walks to overnight stays. I am a law school graduate currently studying for the bar exam. My schedule is pretty flexible as I set my hours, so I am pretty available throughout the week. I am available some weekends as well! Above all, I am a very neat person and will respect you space if I come to care for your pet in your home. I will happily clean up any messes that come up with taking care of your dog, and I will put everything away before I leave. I recognize it takes a lot of trust not only to allow someone to take care of your dog, but to also let that person into your house. I will never do anything beyond your instructions (barring an emergency), and will gladly send pictures and updates at every opportunity. Additionally, I am always prepared with toys and treats!
About: I had a Great Dane who needed lots of attention and care. He was a gentle giant! I played with him, went on long walks everyday, and hung out with him! I love all kinds of dogs! I have a very flexible work and school schedule where I will have time to walk the dog, feed the dog, and play with the dog! I am very caring, where I love to hangout with dogs! About: I’ve had dogs in my life for as long as I can remember! My pets have ranged from a 15 pound cockapoo to a 180 pound American Mastiff! About: I’ve been pet sitting for family, friends, and neighbors since I was a kid and have always enjoyed spending time with animals. While I don’t currently have pets of my own, I regularly help care for my siblings’ dogs and my roommates cat!
