I'm naturally cautious and attentive, always thinking ahead to prevent any potential issues before they happen. I've received training in dog body language, so I can usually quickly pick up on when a pup needs space, comfort, or extra playtime. My own reactive, special needs dog has been an incredible teacher. I've learned to be especially mindful during walks and around other people or dogs. About: I've taken care of dogs of every kind since I was a boy. In our family we've had multiple corgis, a German Shepherd, a plott hound and a Goldendoodle. I'm experienced with puppies, seniors and every stage of life in between. My schedule is currently quite flexible to help with your dogs. About: Having grown up around a variety of animals, from dogs to horses, to alligators, I developed a deep love for animals and truly believe that our pets are part of our families. I am very flexible with a variety of pet needs and responsibilities as I have experience with energetic puppies as well as with older dogs. My family also worked with the PA Great Dane rescue, so I have experience with shy, outgoing, and sadly, with abused dogs; this background also comes in handy when caring for large dogs, as it doesn't get much bigger than a Great Dane. I am looking for some part-time work where I can work with animals I love while looking for a more permanent position. I am willing to walk, sit, and stay with your furriest family members and I am open to discussing any other needs your pet may have. I'm currently working full time, but I try to keep my availability accurate. If you become a regular client, I will monitor the energy level of your dog to see if they need more or less activity and can adjust the length of walks or playtime accordingly. I love spending time with my pup and try to make sure he gets his sniff time and time to relax. My dog is super social so we enjoy going to the dog park as well with other social dogs.

Monique was our saving grace once again! She is so accommodating and willing to help, even on short notice-- we are incredibly grateful for her! She also does very well with high energy dogs and strong dogs. We have only met Monique once before, and it was a weeks ago at a different location. Julep immediately recognized her before she even made it to the door, and my typically anxious pup was SO excited to see her. She clearly creates a bond with the dogs she meets. That's equally important and impressive. Julep is a rescue and, sadly, like so many sweet dogs, she had a hard life before she was rescued. Because of that, she very rarely warms up to new people quickly. We LOVED how happy Julep was to see Monique again! As soon as I handed Monique the leash, she took off like lightning for her walk without the slightest hesitation like they were old friends. I highly recommend Monique!
Elinor responded immediately about my inquiry which I appreciated because I was in a last minute situation. Her prompt communication gave me peace of mind because I'm not used to leaving my dogs. She let me know when she was on her way and when she left and I thought it was a nice touch that she sent pics of the locked door and of the dogs eating their food. My anxious pup loved Brianna from the start! Immediately upon meeting her, Julep began expressing her "enthusiasm" :) She is normally rather timid around new people -- our "meet and greets" take about 4-5 min. She only "talks" to people she is comfortable and confidant around. We met Brianna in the lobby and didn't even make it out the door before Julep was talking and even wanting to jump up to say hello. She took off on their walk without a second glance in my direction. When it comes to dog walking, that is a great thing!
