About: I’ve been a lifelong pet lover and have had pets my entire life. I’m also a dog mom myself, so I understand the anxiety that comes with leaving your pet while you’re away. I truly believe pets are family, and I’ll care for yours as if they were my own. I take the time to learn each pet’s personality, routine, and individual needs, and I’m always happy to go the extra mile to make sure they feel comfortable, happy, and loved. Booking with me means you’ll also receive detailed updates and plenty of photos, so you can feel connected and have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I work from home with a flexible schedule, so I love using my breaks to step away from the computer, get some fresh air, and take walks with my pup. After work, you’ll usually find me going for a run or getting my steps in with my dog. I’d love to have your furry friend join me! I have a very friendly and playful 3-year-old Bernedoodle who loves making new friends! I have a spacious, pet-friendly home with a yard (not fenced), plus a great, walkable neighborhood where we love getting outside. Your pup will have plenty of space, exercise, and companionship!
“Thanks for walking Riley and Archie, Davis! They had a great time and I was so glad I could find someone to help out with them on short notice. We will definitely reach out again 😊”

“She always arrives on time, follows all our instructions carefully, and most importantly, makes our dog Coco so happy. We trust her completely with Coco’s walks, and it gives us peace of mind knowing he’s in great hands. Highly recommended!”

About: I’ve care for family dogs my entire life, giving me experience with different personalities, sizes, energy levels, and routines. I myself had a pitbull mastiff and am comfortable caring for all dogs of all sizes. I’m comfortable providing walks, feeding, playtime, companionship, and plenty of affection while following each owner’s instructions carefully. My experience caring for senior cats with changing health needs has also made me patient, observant, and attentive to subtle changes in an animal’s behavior or comfort. Whether your dog is playful and energetic or prefers a slower, calmer routine, I’ll provide dependable care and treat them like family. I’m available to take care of your pets with a 1-2 day’s notice - 1 for walking and drop-ins, and 2 for house sitting. If you need to cancel, please provide notice 3 days prior. I do not offer services regarding keeping animals at my home. I have no problem with crate-trained animals and will follow whatever specific instructions you leave regarding your animals’ care and needs.

“Sonia reply quick to a last minute booking, she was very kind, made great comments of my dog and even brought my groceries that I have bough in. I will definitely contact her again, great experience”

“David has done an excellent job with Zelda this week. She looks forward to his arrival and is excited to go for a walk with him. We appreciate his care with Zelda and his flexibility with his time.”

About: I grew up with both cats and dogs, taking care of both and learning about different temperaments and how to love them the best. I'm more of a cat girl, but I love dogs and I love the playful ones!. I also have a year of experience working at an animal shelter. Walking dogs, feeding and watering them, taking them out to go potty, picking up after them, playing with them outside as well as in their rooms, making and giving them frozen treats. I also worked with the shelter's cats, feeding and watering them, cleaning their litter boxes, bathing them, playing with them, giving treats. I also gave both dogs and cats various medications, whether that be hiding pills in food or applying gels and creams. I am currently self-employed as a nail artist, so I have all the time in the world to devote to your fur babies! I don't have any specific days I need off, I have full availability! Since I have experience in an animal shelter, I can safely walk your dogs and take them out in your yard to play or go potty! I like to say I'm pretty good at being able to gain a pet's trust, treats go a long way in making friends😅😅

“Let me tell you about Cleo’s best friend Monique!!!! I went on a last minute trip and had to leave Cleo behind for the first time. I was SO anxious and felt super guilty about leaving her alone. Monique was very diligent about showing up, sending reports, and following my tedious instructions about leaving the TV on/moving our coffee table for our roomba lol. I felt like she actually wanted to be there and love on Cleo. Cleo loves tug of war and Monique would play with her literally every time she visited and made sure she got her treat’o’s. I’m glad I don’t have to go through the trial and error process of finding our go to dog sitter for Cleo! I’ll be contacting her very soon for their next play date.”

“Michael was wonderful. He listened to instructions perfectly and always kept me informed. He made sure to mix up our dog, Jackson’s, walks and exercise to ensure he was having fun every day. Will certainly ask to have Michael care for our dog again, if needed.”

About: Hi there! I’m Hannah, a lifelong animal lover with years of experience caring for dogs, cats, and many other pets. I’ve trained my own dogs and understand how important it is to create a bond built on trust, comfort, and fun. When I’m with your pet, their happiness and well-being are my top priorities. “Brianna is a great dog walker!! She is very quick to respond to messages and took the lead organizating the meet and greet. She was available on pretty short notice, which was such a relief. Brianna was immediately comfortable with my 150lb dog, which means she is comfortable with any dog! She is a great dog walker and I will be using her regularly!”

“Trent is absolutely wonderful. He made going away for a weekend without our two large dogs stress free. Trent gave us detailed messages about how each of their walks went, followed all of our guidelines and it was easy to tell our dogs trusted him and enjoyed his company. He handled our reactive 80lbs dog with grace and ease. We would recommend him to anybody! One of the most reliable and easy experiences we’ve had with someone else caring for our pups. 10/10 would recommend!”

About: I've cared for friends' fur babies throughout my teen and adult years. I also grew up with dogs. I was tasked with walking, feeding, and watering our black Labrador, Blackjack, until he passed back in November 2012. I know every dog needs at least two walks. I want work-life balance, so I am available on weekdays afternoons and evenings, plus weekends, as long as it's scheduled at least three days before. While in my client's home, I'll send daily photos and videos of their fur babies so they don't need to worry or miss their dogs. I'll also be sure to leave the home almost exactly as I found it.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Bristow
As always Han was great with Baxter, our 80 pound bernedoodle who is not great on a leash. She did his morning walk every day for two weeks was very communicative and responsive. She provided comments in his Rover card about how it went, which was both informative and entertaining. Highly recommend her!

It's been so wonderful having Ruby walk my pup. I'm very protective over him and she has done a great job putting me at ease. She's always on time and responsive which is a huge deal for me. She handles all his crazy golden energy in stride. Highly recommend her.
Mike is an extremely professional pet sitter. I have booked him more than once and I will continue to do so. He has stayed at my dwelling and I trust he will take care of my dog very well. Mike sends regular updates with pictures that keep me up to date with my senior dog.
Steve is the best. Our slightly special needs rescue needs a gentle but confident hand, and Steve is great with him. He makes sure our old boy gets his medication and food (which he can be quite uncooperative about) and he always takes him on the best walks. We’ve used Steve for boarding and drop-in visits/walks in our home. We know we can trust that he’ll take care of Riley just like we would (or maybe even better!) He’s reliable, communicative, and always sends great pictures, so you’ll always know how well things are going with your furbaby while you’re away!

I booked Julia for reoccurring walks with my dog, a senior husky. She was very patient with my pup and made sure she was well taken care. Julia listened to all my notes and concerns with my dog and made me feel comfortable with entrusting her to take care of her. I definitely recommend Julia to look after your dog too!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
