I work a flexible hybrid schedule, which makes me ideal for pet parents needing drop-in walks, home visits, or house sitting. I know that boarding facilities aren't right for every pet, so I'm happy to care for yours in the comfort of their own home. With experience handling reactive and special-needs pets, I understand when staying in a familiar environment is the best choice. While you're away, I'll keep your pet's routine consistent and ensure they feel safe and comfortable. I keep my calendar updated to reflect my in-office days. I'm typically available on weekends and weekday daytime hours. If you're facing a long workday, a busy weekend, or are concerned about leaving your pet alone for extended periods, I'm happy to help with check-ins and care as needed. I work from home most of the time, which means I have wonderful flexibility to spend quality time with your pup! I'm especially available for late morning and midday visits, so your dog will never have to wait too long between potty breaks, meals, or playtime. I am usually in the office on Wednesdays but I aim to keep my calendar as updated as possible. Safety is always my top priority. I'm naturally cautious and attentive, always thinking ahead to prevent any potential issues before they happen. I've received training in dog body language, so I can usually quickly pick up on when a pup needs space, comfort, or extra playtime. My own reactive, special needs dog has been an incredible teacher. I've learned to be especially mindful during walks and around other people or dogs. I also know that dogs pick up on our energy, so I aim to stay calm and composed in every situation to help your pup feel secure and relaxed.

About: I've lived with dogs of different breeds and sizes and ages my entire life. My favorite thing is to make them feel loved by giving them the care they deserve. I am a college student trying to discover what my passion is. I love dogs and want to expose myself to this field of experience. About: Hi! My name is Sarah. I grew up taking care of our family dog, rabbit, guinea pigs and fish. I feel comfortable and confident walking/caring for all different sizes and ages of dogs due to previously working for a dog walking/pet sitting company in the NOVA area during 2016-2017. During that year, I was also was responsible for overnight stays, and day time cat visits. My primary experience with pet care since that time has been taking care of my own dog (his name is Rudy, he is a toy poodle who has been the best friend we could dream of for almost 10 years and counting). I am in the medical field and am currently in between jobs, which allows my schedule to be flexible. I am available every weekday (and most weekends). For house sitting, I will keep to your desired schedule as my Rover schedule allows (as I will likely need to leave a few times during the day for other pet visits). I am comfortable staying overnight in your home. For dog walking, your dog’s safety is my top priority. I will avoid other dogs and if walking 2 dogs at the same time, I use a waist leash. I prefer to use a harness and non-retractable leashes (when available). Before or after their walk, we can also play fetch/play with toys inside or outside (if you have a fenced in yard). For cat visits, I am happy to clean their litter boxes, feed them, and play with them inside your home (only if they are interested, of course!) For either dogs or cats, I am able to administer oral or injectable medication if needed.

About: I've had dogs my entire life raised then since they were puppies and trained them as well. They give us unconditional love and we should give them the same and that's why you can trust me to take care of the fur babies and give them good walks I'm not currently working full time but only when I have plumbing calls come up which is rare and that just means more time for the animals :) I have walked dogs my entire life as well as give them good wonderful walks as well as can carry your dog if they get tired and will keep them safe no matter what the reason may be
