In high school, I would dog-sit for my neighbor and walk dogs on a daily basis. Throughout college, I have lived with roommates who’ve owned dogs and would often take on the responsibilities of feeding them food and water, taking them on walks, and playing with them whenever my roommates were out of town or busy with work. I joined Rover in the beginning of 2019, however a year later, my activity on Rover came to an end due to COVID19 shutdowns. I graduated from VCU in 2020 and worked part time at a doggy day care in 2021. I currently work a full time job but strive to dedicate my free time to hanging out and taking care of fur babies. My main goal is to nurture and care for animals with unconditional love, as every pet has their own unique personality. “Let me tell you about Cleo’s best friend Monique!!!! I went on a last minute trip and had to leave Cleo behind for the first time. I was SO anxious and felt super guilty about leaving her alone. Monique was very diligent about showing up, sending reports, and following my tedious instructions about leaving the TV on/moving our coffee table for our roomba lol. I felt like she actually wanted to be there and love on Cleo. Cleo loves tug of war and Monique would play with her literally every time she visited and made sure she got her treat’o’s. I’m glad I don’t have to go through the trial and error process of finding our go to dog sitter for Cleo! I’ll be contacting her very soon for their next play date.”
