About: Part of my job is to take care and look after my patients, taking care of fur babies it’s a skill I can confidently say im great at. Since I was little I considered myself as an Animal lover, nothing stopped me from getting the experience and joy animals can bring. I've had all type of animals throughout my life - cats, dogs, reptiles, hamsters, fishes, etc. anything you can imagine, so I’m comfortable with taking care of pets. Part of my job is to take care and look after my patients, taking care of fur babies it’s a skill I can confidently say im good at. I’m currently a Full time student with a part time as a dental assistant but even then I have a lot of opportunities and gaps on my schedule to take care of pets. My weekends are completely free as well. I understand the needs of different animals and living conditions, I’m happy to go to a clients house to take care of their pets but if it’s needed I have no problem taking them out for a hike or a play date or just to get a pup cup.

About: I personally have a 2 year old Siberian husky back in Colorado that I dearly miss. I have taken care of smaller dogs like Yorkies as well. I enjoy their company and taking them on walks I’m free mostly on weekends. If you need me to drop off or take them for a walk during week days, I can do so. Leaving my dogs behind while out of town for six days was a first for me, so I was naturally pretty nervous going into the process. I interviewed several people before meeting Velkin in person. My girlfriend and I hosted her for a meet and greet, and her genuine, welcoming presence stood out immediately. There was nothing fake or performative about her. She has the kind of ground-level authenticity that puts you at ease right away. My Chihuahuas took to her immediately as well, which said everything. If you know anything about Chihuahuas, they do not warm up to strangers quickly, if at all. Hiring her was an easy decision, and she did not disappoint. She came by twice a day to handle feeding, water, outdoor time, and spending quality time with them. Beyond basic care, she treated my dogs like her own. I received regular photos and detailed updates after her visits, giving me complete peace of mind. I also felt totally comfortable giving her unfettered access to my home while I was away. On top of everything, she was remarkably flexible. When I came home a day early, she was gracious enough to modify the booking and remove that final day. Since she had reserved that slot for me, it would have been completely fair for her to charge for the full six days, so that gesture was unexpected and extremely kind. Velkin did a phenomenal job, and I have zero regrets about hiring her. She provides world class service, and I would recommend her to anyone without hesitation. Amelia is awesome!!!! Was our first time trying this service and she instantly put us at ease. Kind, caring, and obviously passionate about taking good care of our furry family members. Rachel was the best! She is competent and communicative. It was easy to go out of town because she loved on my dog and sent wonderful photos and fun stories about their adventures! Both my boys are older (13 and almost 15) and one has 3 legs. She was great at keeping my reactive big dog calm and he loved all her cuddles and treats and trips outside! She comforted my small tripod through the thunderstorm and he greatly appreciated her lifting him up onto the couch for snuggles and her carrying him home when he got tired after she let him explore and sniff out all his fave places.
