About: I personally have a 2 year old Siberian husky back in Colorado that I dearly miss. I have taken care of smaller dogs like Yorkies as well. I enjoy their company and taking them on walks I’m free mostly on weekends. If you need me to drop off or take them for a walk during week days, I can do so. I work from home Monday and Friday and Tuesday- Wednesday I’m at the office. I prefer to take care of pets in your home. I follow instructions and make sure that their meds/ food or walk requirements are all met.
“I can't recommend Zosha highly enough. I scheduled daily visits while we were on vacation for our cat Chloe to be given her medication and some love - and Zosha did such a great job at both! He went out of his way to give her plenty of affection and even treats on her puzzle toy. Everything was clean and left in great shape, Zosha was super communicative, and sent lots of pictures! Chloe is definitely a fan, and so are we. Thanks again, Zosha!”

“Sierra was AMAZING!!! I was so anxious to leave my cats while I went away for vacation, but Sierra gave me such a peace of mind. I was able to actually relax and enjoy my vacation instead of worrying the whole time :) Sierra gave me updates and pictures of my cats when she visited which was greatly appreciated. Highly recommend her for any of your pet sitting needs!”

“Great communication and Asia was able to balance my super clingy/needy cat while also drawing my shy cat out of her shell. By the end of the week both cars were running up for cuddles when they heard her come in. Have already rebooked with Asia for our next trip.”

“Taylor is fantastic! Taylor has been doing drop ins for my dogs and the pups have really enjoyed having Taylor come over and spend time with them! So grateful!”
“Lina is extremely attentive and caring towards our pets. Even our usually shy kitty has learned to come and greet her at the door. We feel at ease leaving our pets knowing they are in the best hands!”

About: I've had pets—cats, dogs, etc.—for the majority of my 34 years on earth. Today, my wife and I have 2 dogs, Abbie (an 8-year-old pit mix) and Scout (a 2-year-old husky-shepherd mix). Both our pups are rescues! I have experience administering oral medication. Both of our pups are medicated for anxiety, so I'm quite comfortable with most medication. I also have some experience administering medication to cats. I work from home as a product designer, so my schedule is quite flexible. I typically let the pups out first thing each morning at around 8am, work through the day, but take periodic breaks for potty breaks and playtime. I'm flexible enough to pivot based on the needs of your pet! First and foremost, I have a conversation with every client to determine their comfort level with things like walks...some things I ask to get started: 1. Does your pet get along with other animals? If not, what are the circumstances or triggers? Abby, for example, doesn't do well with larger dogs because she was bullied as a puppy, so we avoid those triggers to keep her safe. 2. Is your pet a chunky muffin who is being calorie-restricted? Or is it challenging to get them to eat anything, period? 3. How does your pet handle on a leash? Should I watch out for lunging? Do they chase postal service workers? 4. Does your pet chew things that could be dangerous, like electrical cables? These questions help me keep your pet safe and happy at all times!
“Ari was very attentive and communicative during her visits. I have two cats, one with asthma who requires an inhaler. Unfortunately he does not like strangers and does not like to get his inhaler from people other than family. Ari did her best to try to give him his inhaler each day. She was patient and caring despite the challenges. Overall, she took great care of both kitties! Thanks again, Ari!”

“Thank you very much, Samantha, for being such a good caregiver to Carolina. You’ve always been able to track her down in her various hiding places and give her reassurance. Thanks for all you have done!”

About: Hi! I'm a high school teacher, mom, and lifelong animal lover. I've had dogs and cats for as long as I can remember and began pet sitting for families while I was in college. My own dog, Scout, reminds me every day how important it is for pets to feel safe, loved, and well cared for. As a teacher, I'm organized, dependable, and attentive to details. I'm available throughout the summer and on weekends during the school year. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, companionship, or extra TLC while you're away, I'll care for them as if they were my own. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! 🐾 I am off for summer, so I have all day to pop in and walk your pups or for pet sitting in your home. I live in Annandale, so would prefer to be in this general area. Whatever needs your fur baby/babies has/have, I can accommodate. I am always sure to get my 10,000 steps a day, so I would love to do it with a dog by my side. We can relax, snuggle, and have our own private conversations. Obviously, feeding and watering and treat rewards are a given!

About: I’ve personally taken care of cats and dogs. Previously, have trained a puppy. So I know the calmness and patience needed to care for pets. Also, timely updates are very useful for the pet owner. Thanks. I currently don’t work, so I have a lot of time and availability for pet sitting. Please let me know in advance and I can accommodate feeding, walks, medications, and tasks. I have a beautiful one apartment, so there’s lots of space to freely walk. I lock away cleaning chemicals. There is lots of space to keep familiar pet items near.
“Hannah is the best as usual! She was able to drop in on my dog for a last minute request. I love the great report and pictures from each visit! My dog also adores getting belly rubs from Hannah🙂”

About: Having taken care of a precious Springer Spaniel for 14 years (Cocoa), I'll do my best to take care of your dog as if he or she were my own. I'm usually quite responsive when it comes to bookings and arrangements, responding within 15-20 minutes. I'll take them out to play and walk and feed them at least three times a day. I'll also bathe them, if need be. Most importantly, I will be as flexible and accommodating as possible to ensure that your dog will have fun while with me. I currently have open availability in my schedule, so I could most definitely sit your dog full-time if necessary. Above all else, I just love working with dogs as they are my favorite animal.

Rachel was the best! She is competent and communicative. It was easy to go out of town because she loved on my dog and sent wonderful photos and fun stories about their adventures! Both my boys are older (13 and almost 15) and one has 3 legs. She was great at keeping my reactive big dog calm and he loved all her cuddles and treats and trips outside! She comforted my small tripod through the thunderstorm and he greatly appreciated her lifting him up onto the couch for snuggles and her carrying him home when he got tired after she let him explore and sniff out all his fave places. Thanks and the boys say woof!

Mitzi was communicative, warm, understanding, and took very good care of my baby, even taking her for walks when my girl showed she wanted it! When there were difficulties with getting into our apartment building, Mitzi went above and beyond to try to help me sort it out. I have total trust in Mitzi and will absolutely be reaching out in the future!

Many thanks, Samantha! So grateful we connected here. She’s been so good to and with my dog. He’s a grumpy old guy but she’s won him over :). She’s been great at keeping us in the loop with updates and pics, responsive to what he’s in the mood for (eg walk v hanging in the yard) and keeping an eye on how he’s doing. Really appreciate her working us into her schedule as we quickly became one of her regular clients. Highly recommend Samantha!

Josh is amazing - attentive, kind, and caring with our two big dogs. They get so excited whenever he walks through the door, and after their hour-long walks, they come home happy, relaxed, and completely worn out! We're incredibly grateful to have found Joshua. It's clear how much he cares about the dogs he works with, and it gives us great peace of mind knowing they're in such good hands. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of our pups and for being so awesome! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
