“This weekend was our first experience using Rover for a sitter for our pup, Maisie, and we couldn’t have asked for better than Alyce and her family to watch her! Alyce hosted us for a meet and greet beforehand to make sure that Maisie and her dog would get along, which really put our minds at ease. Over the course of her stay, we received several photos and videos of Maisie playing with the other dogs and with Alyce’s sons, and you could just tell she was having a fantastic time. She really liked the variety toys that Alyce keeps for the dogs and roaming the nice, fenced backyard! We appreciated Alyce’s consistent communication and we had no doubt that our dog was in great, responsible hands and also enjoying herself! “Susan and her husband were great with Oreo. They have a wonderful setup and are very organized and mark each dogs food when they arrive. They even add a lost and found tag with their info should anything happen. They had a kiddie pool and sprinkler for the dogs since it was hot but they wanted to play in the big yard. They sent great pics and videos and we were very comfortable leaving Oreo with them For the week. He's now sleeping but I'm Sure he misses his new friends and doggie Vacay spot.”

About: Since I was little I’ve considered that my favorite pet are cats. My aunt used to rescue cats, she always had more than five cats in her home bringing me the joy and experience of looking after them. They are so smart and independent, I understand the care of cats can be a little different that dogs because of it. Cats are more reserve animals with fierce personalities, but can be so sweet when you build a bond together. I would love the opportunity to bond and gain the trust of them, it’s can be so special.

About: In addition to being an approved foster home for Homeward Trails Animal Rescue, I've cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, and one very cute hamster throughout my 48 years. After both of my senior rescue pups passed away from old age during Covid, I've really missed having a furry companion running around. I'm not quite ready to have my own pet full-time again but enjoy caring for others' furry friends between foster pups. Open to full day, evenings, or weekends. Seniors have a special place in my heart and are always welcome. I am very experienced with those that have special needs or medicines. I do ask that all pets are kid friendly as I have a 10 year old "trainer" that comes with me and really enjoys reading to the pups at bedtime. Though my son will keep his distance from dogs that are skittish, we want a safe and calm place for both the pet and child to stay when they're in our home. For stays in our home, especially those last minute needs, we have beds, crates, bowls, toys, and even various types of emergency food just in case. We're who you need in a pinch or if your flight is delayed on the way home. Boarding in our home always comes with multiple walks a day and often a fun adventure and patio time! Working from home makes flexible pick up and drop off scheduling a breeze for pups staying with me! I look forward to making your pet part of our family while you're away. Be sure to let me know if they'd enjoy the park and long walks or prefer a more laid back stay with extra cuddles or space to decompress and we'll adjust. Your pet will always have free range of my home, if they're most comfortable contained near their humans I can close off doors and block off stairs! We even have extra floor coverings for those a little older that appreciate extra traction when walking. Does the pup like crates better at night, just let me know and I'll follow your routine! We have a couple med/lg sized ones here I keep on hand, in case they're needed. I usually keep the doors off so they can use it as a safe place whenever they'd like unless mom or dad prefers otherwise! Safety is incredibly important to us so all animals will stay leashed outside and I have a 2 pet limit set on Rover so things stay calm and we have plenty of scratchies & snuggle time with the dogs who like to hang out with humans. Have a senior pup who wants to hide somewhere quiet? There's plenty of great hiding spots and we'll tote a bed over to their new favorite spot to keep them comfy.

About: My husband and I have taken care of our friend’s teddy, Pomeranian, Rottweiler and Labrador retriever, Friends have relied on us to walk, feed, and board their pets when they are at school, at work, on vacation or when they had to deal with emergency situations. I do what is asked of me by pet owners and try to go above and beyond to be a good companion to the animal(s). I follow directions well and am very observant of pet behavior so I can meet their needs.
About: I’ve personally taken care of cats and dogs. Previously, have trained a puppy. So I know the calmness and patience needed to care for pets. Also, timely updates are very useful for the pet owner. Thanks. I currently don’t work, so I have a lot of time and availability for pet sitting. Please let me know in advance and I can accommodate feeding, walks, medications, and tasks. I have a beautiful one apartment, so there’s lots of space to freely walk. I lock away cleaning chemicals. There is lots of space to keep familiar pet items near.

“Awesome, awesome dog boarding experience!! Cindy was very responsive, took excellent care of our 8 week old puppy, Blaze. She treated Blaze very kindly, took him on frequent potty breaks, walks. Moreover Blaze had an issue that arose while she was taking care of him. She knew exactly what to do, resolved the issue promptly after notifying me. She’s the best. Cindy also kept me updated the whole time with text and beautiful pics. Definitely will rebook with her!”

“This weekend was our first experience using Rover for a sitter for our pup, Maisie, and we couldn’t have asked for better than Alyce and her family to watch her! Alyce hosted us for a meet and greet beforehand to make sure that Maisie and her dog would get along, which really put our minds at ease. Over the course of her stay, we received several photos and videos of Maisie playing with the other dogs and with Alyce’s sons, and you could just tell she was having a fantastic time. She really liked the variety toys that Alyce keeps for the dogs and roaming the nice, fenced backyard! We appreciated Alyce’s consistent communication and we had no doubt that our dog was in great, responsible hands and also enjoying herself! We would definitely recommend booking with Alyce and are confident we’ll be requesting her services again in the future!”
