“Nyla and Corey took excellent care of my pets while I was visiting my brother in Alexandria. They were able to accommodate a last minute request due to an unforeseen work situation I was in. Corey was able to pick up my pups and bring them home which was a huge help, as I am not very familiar with the DC Metro area in addition to the horrific traffic. They sent me photos during the day to let me know how my dogs were doing, which was great as I am a helicopter pet parent. What began as a last minute doggy day care issue became a blessing as I will always utilize Corey and Nyla in the future when visiting my brother in Alexandria. I should also mention that I have a bossy female toy poodle Lu and a mini Aussie puppy Finn. They are both well trained but get super excited being around new people and Finn needs mental and physical stimulation throughout the day. They both came home to me happy and sleepy, I know that Finn would not be sleepy if he did not get the stimulation that he needs especially at this stage of his life. Thank you, Corey and Nyla! About: I grew up with dogs my whole life, so I know the little things that make a dog comfortable, from reading their body language to knowing when it's walk time versus nap time. I also regularly dog sit for close friends, so I'm used to adjusting to different routines and personalities (every dog's got them). My husband and I both work from home with flexible schedules, so your dog gets real company throughout the day, not just quick check-ins! We've also got a dachshund, Alfie, who's super friendly and always down for play time. Any dog we watch gets treated like part of the family, lots of walks, lots of belly rubs, and lots of love! We have a big yard for dogs to run and play in, and on rainy days we've got plenty of toys to keep things fun indoors. Our neighborhood is also very walkable, so daily walks are an easy part of the routine. Whether it's a boarding stay or a full day of daycare, your dog will get lots of attention, exercise, and plenty of playtime throughout the day. We will treat your dog like family! Your dog's safety and comfort come first, always. We have a fully fenced yard, so playtime and potty breaks are secure, and dogs are never left unsupervised outside. Indoors, they've got space to relax, plenty of toys, and a calm environment to settle into, plus a friendly playmate in our dachshund, Alfie, if they're feeling social. We stick close to your dog's normal routine (feeding times, walk schedule, bedtime habits) so the transition feels as seamless as possible, and we're always happy to send photo or video updates throughout their stay. About: My husband and I have taken care of our friend’s teddy, Pomeranian, Rottweiler and Labrador retriever, Friends have relied on us to walk, feed, and board their pets when they are at school, at work, on vacation or when they had to deal with emergency situations.
