“Maria was wonderful! She was very attentive and communicative the whole time I was out of town which put me at ease. My cat loved her, I would definitely use her again!”

“Elizabeth is extremely communicative and professional. She gives lots of updates and always make sure to let me know of their day. I feel very comfortable leaving and knowing my dog is well cared for.”

About: I’ve had dogs of my own my whole life. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and ages. In high school I frequently pet sat for neighbors and friends. I currently have one dog named Ace, a 7 year old black pug. He is very friendly with other dogs. I’m currently home from college for the summer taking online classes. I have plenty of time to spend with the dogs in my care! I have a fenced in yard which our dogs have free access to. Dogs in my home have free rein and are not crated. As well as access to food and water throughout the day with plenty of toys to play with available!
About: We have owned dogs all our lives and we truly think dog sitting should be done not by big boarding facilities but by loving and caring dog parents that have the experience of loving multiple dogs throughout their lives. My wife and I have had pets from 4 years old to now in our early thirties and we just used a home dog sitter for the first time. We were a little hesistant as this was our first time and it worked out perfectly. Seeing this work in action we both said this is the way a dog should be treated if their owners go away for vacation, so we decided to try to do the same things for our neighborhood. We treat all dogs like they are our own and will not disappoint anyone that books with us. Prior to sitting each dog, I send owners a few questions to learn more about their pup (e.g., Does your dog have health issues, behavioral issues, dietary restraints, etc.?). Services may not be rendered if special needs are not disclosed. Thank you.
About: I’ve taken care of my own dog for over a decade. I’ve also watched my friends and families dogs when they are on vacation. So, I’m very comfortable with walking, feeding, playing, and bathing different types of dogs. I’m currently working full-time, so morning walks would be the only possibility during the week. However, I’m very free on the weekends and would be the most helpful then. I am totally flexible with any safety precautions you would like to take. I want to make sure that you feel safe leaving your dog in my care.
“Couldn't have found a better person to watch my herd! I didn't have to worry while I was gone at all because she took such amazing care of them. She provides a great summary for each visit and I loved seeing all the pictures of my crew each time. She exceeded all expectations.”

“Katherine was absolutely wonderful; I cannot recommend her highly enough. If I need to use Rover again, I’ll look for her first. What a wonderful introduction to this platform.”

“Ihana was excellent with our dogs Lexi and Jack while we were traveling. We look forward to having her take care of them whenever we are traveling in the future! She followed all of the instructions that we left for her and is totally professional. I highly recommend her for your dog sitting needs!”

“This is the second time Trent watched my old dog and my wife's two cats. Trent is easy to work with on scheduling and has earned my trust. My dog is older, needs some meds, and is a little slow on the walk so trust is important. We unintentionally threw a curve ball at him this time. When making a new key I decided to go with a dog shaped key. It worked, but not well, and came apart inside the lock when Trent tried to use it. He contacted me and exhibited patience as I walked him through how to break into my home. BTW, we upgraded to a lock with a keypad and the ability to unlock remotely.”

About: I've pet sit for my friends dogs and have raised a corgi puppy from 10 weeks old! I love dogs and will treat yours like mine. I have a playful and friendly corgi who plays well with all dogs. Plus I give excellent scratches. I will send a bunch of photos, as long as you don’t mind me spamming you with them! We do at least 3 walks a day, dog parks after work, and fun adventures on the weekends. Normally we eat breakfast around 8:30, go for a potty walk, and play. During the weekday, I take them out every 4 hours and do mental puzzles at home. If the weather is nice, we will go to a nearby dog park. On weekends, we tend to go out for outdoor adventures if the weather is nice I live in an apartment with ample walking nearby. Super dog friendly neighborhood. We have space to set up crates if needed. I am a neat person and will clean up after myself and the dogs.
About: I have owned dogs and cats my whole entire life. I have dog-watched for neighbors since I was about 12 years old. I am very loving towards animals and am skilled in washing and walking them. There is nothing better than getting to hang out with animals as they provide an unmatched love in our lives. I currently own two disabled dogs so I like to think no challenge is too big or too small. I enjoy dogs and cats of all sizes. I am very good with time management so I plan to work with you to make sure your pet is getting the best attention while you are away from home. I appreciate your time in considering me for the jobs! I work a remote 9-5 so most evenings I am open but I am willing to schedule something out between work and your pet if you need me mid day I listen to the energy the animal is giving off. I try my best to clear myself of negative feelings and stress so the animals feel more at ease amongst my presence
“Excellent service. Heather took good care of our cat and dog. She was very kind and communicative. She sent us pictures and messages so we didn’t have to worry about anything. She even stayed longer to make sure our dog was all set. I absolutely recommend her and will book her again.”
“Daniela did an amazing job. We just moved in and our house was a disaster, but Daniela worked through it and other challenges with access to our flat. We couldn’t be more pleased with how she handled these challenges and how well she cared for our little Skippy.”

Vienna dog parents share their Rover experiences
Eliza is the best! She just gets it, and you can tell as soon as you meet her. She knows how to make even nervous dogs feel comfortable, gives each dog individualized care tailored to their temperament, didn't mind a high maintenance picky eater, sent lots of pics, made me feel so secure they were in good hands! Can't sing her praises enough

Winnie was AMAZING with our dog and cat. She gave them tons of attention and made sure they were mentally stimulated. She also sent us thorough updates after each drop-in, which relieved a lot of our anxieties. I would definitely rehire her, and I highly recommend her if you want someone who takes care of your pets like they’re her own.

Nina and Amax took wonderful care of my dog, Winter. From the start they were responsive, kind, and clearly experienced with dogs. They kept me updated and made sure Winter was comfortable and well cared for while I was away. It gave me real peace of mind knowing she was in such good hands. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and caring sitters, and I would happily book with them again.
I felt completely comfortable leaving Beethoven in Darcy‘s capable hands. She wrote extensive notes each day, letting me know how he did and she was always early to arrive and did exactly what I asked, and it was just such a relief to know that he was in good hands. I will definitely reach out when I have another need for a walker or a caretaker for my pup!

Beth L. was able to step in quickly when our sitter cancelled and do drop in visits for our dog while we were away for multiple days. She cheerfully got Nelly up and fed in the morning and put her in her crate at night after ensuring she got some outdoor and play time and water. She was communicative and responsive the whole time and Nelly did well. We really appreciated her help!

Caroline listened to all my suggestions with Bella and had an amazing night with our 12 week old pup! We had no accidents in the house while we were gone which is a huge bonus! I highly recommend Caroline for her attention to detail, warmth and obvious love for animals.

Matthew was wonderful taking care of Lincoln. He came over ahead of time and did a meet and greet. Then the day of the check-in and walk I got great updates about the visit, a mapped out view of the walk, and pictures of Lincoln out and about on his walk. He even worked in a little training which was great!
