“Sonia treated our cats very well! She arrived on time, made sure they ate, and played with them as we had requested. No complaints, and we would absolutely have her catsit for us again!”

About: We have owned dogs all our lives and we truly think dog sitting should be done not by big boarding facilities but by loving and caring dog parents that have the experience of loving multiple dogs throughout their lives. My wife and I have had pets from 4 years old to now in our early thirties and we just used a home dog sitter for the first time. We were a little hesistant as this was our first time and it worked out perfectly. Seeing this work in action we both said this is the way a dog should be treated if their owners go away for vacation, so we decided to try to do the same things for our neighborhood. We treat all dogs like they are our own and will not disappoint anyone that books with us. Prior to sitting each dog, I send owners a few questions to learn more about their pup (e.g., Does your dog have health issues, behavioral issues, dietary restraints, etc.?). Services may not be rendered if special needs are not disclosed. Thank you.
“Christine was an outstanding sitter — personable, professional, and clearly experienced. She provided detailed updates and plenty of photos after each visit, which gave us great peace of mind. We felt our dog was in excellent hands and would strongly recommend her to anyone looking for reliable drop-in care.”

About: I own and trained a 6 year old German Shepherd and 13 year old mutt from the time they were puppies so I have experience with small to large breed dogs. I have dog sat others dogs and have experience walking multiple dogs at one time. I am a teacher currently on summer break and looking to keep busy, so time is open except for Friday evenings/nights and Saturday mornings. I have multiple years of experience giving medication, feeding, and caring for dogs. When I am with a dog they will always be under direct supervision and control.
“Excellent service. Heather took good care of our cat and dog. She was very kind and communicative. She sent us pictures and messages so we didn’t have to worry about anything. She even stayed longer to make sure our dog was all set. I absolutely recommend her and will book her again.”
About: I've pet sit for my friends dogs and have raised a corgi puppy from 10 weeks old! I love dogs and will treat yours like mine. I have a playful and friendly corgi who plays well with all dogs. Plus I give excellent scratches. I will send a bunch of photos, as long as you don’t mind me spamming you with them! We do at least 3 walks a day, dog parks after work, and fun adventures on the weekends. Normally we eat breakfast around 8:30, go for a potty walk, and play. During the weekday, I take them out every 4 hours and do mental puzzles at home. If the weather is nice, we will go to a nearby dog park. On weekends, we tend to go out for outdoor adventures if the weather is nice I live in an apartment with ample walking nearby. Super dog friendly neighborhood. We have space to set up crates if needed. I am a neat person and will clean up after myself and the dogs.
“Jessi was fantastic at taking care of our cat while we were gone over the holidays. She was a great communicator and did such a great job at getting our shy cat to warm up to her. Would recommend hiring Jessi for your cat care needs!”

About: Hi there, for the past 7 years I have been a social worker, most recently working with at-risk youth. I love spending time with animals and am hoping to spend more time with them in my downtime. I've owned cats and dogs for the past 25 years. I currently have 2 cats: Teddy and Noggin who are both 8 years-old. I've been pet sitting for the past 11 years and enjoy the joy it brings. I am great at paying attention to detail, dependable, responsible, and on time. I am super reliable, highly responsible, very loving and patient with animals, communicate well, and know basic pet first aid. I am available any weekday evening and am available during the day on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. I am typically close to home on the weekends and can easily fit pet sitting in then as well! I have two cats that are indoor only with balcony access. My cat, Noggin, has heart disease and I am comfortable administering pills and treats. I have cared for dogs that have been crate trained and am comfortable putting them in crates when leaving. I have also administered medicine to dogs in the form of a pill pocket or food (peanut butter/cheese).
“Victoria willingly accepted to sit my dog while I went on a last-minute work trip. She sent daily pictures, kept up with the dog's schedule flawlessly, and maintained constant communication. Truly a professional in every sense of the word. I'll seek her services again and recommended her to anyone looking for a reliable, trustworthy sitter.”

About: I have over 2 years of pet care experience and am FetchFind Certified. I grew up on a farm, so I’m comfortable caring for all types of animals and dogs of every size and temperament. I can handle walks, feeding, playtime, and any specific care instructions you provide. I’m reliable, attentive, and treat every pet like my own. I am a full-time pet sitter and dog walker, so caring for pets is my daily routine. I do my best to stay flexible and accommodate your schedule whenever possible. Your pets will be under constant super vision as well as be provided as much attention as they could ask for. I am very intentional with everything I do so I will treat them as family.
“Elizabeth is extremely communicative and professional. She gives lots of updates and always make sure to let me know of their day. I feel very comfortable leaving and knowing my dog is well cared for.”

“I reached out to Katherine last-minute, and I was so lucky she was able to help me out! My fur kids love her so much, and I love her updates and cute pics. I know they are in the best hands when they’re with her!”
About: I’ve taken care of family dogs almost my whole life. I’ve been trusted to walk, feed and play with them. I am not a professional trainer but can adapt to help with the process! I’m currently a student at college but since I am mainly online I usually can be pretty flexible! I can do walks mostly on an as needed basis I will not be doing in home care but overall I will be making sure leashes are snug on and all doors closed within reach of the pet.

About: 23 Years Experience: A lifetime of grooming and pet care expertise. • All Dogs Welcome: From active trail-walkers to high-care seniors requiring medical management. • Full-Time Attention: I work from home and currently have no pets of my own, so your dog is my sole priority. • The Setting: A quiet home office, fenced yard, and a house already equipped with ramps and orthopedic beds. I have so much love to give and a perfect setup for a pet—including a fenced yard and a remote work schedule—so I decided to open my home to others' furry family members. It’s a way for me to stay active in the dog community while providing a high level of personalized care. I work 100% remote from my home office, which means your pup will never be alone. My "coworkers" enjoy a day filled with head scratches, frequent potty breaks, and a calm environment right by my desk. Because I’m remote, I can easily adapt to your dog’s specific routine, ensuring they feel secure and loved while you're away. I have a fully fenced yard and lots of walking trails near our home. I have a deep love for all dogs and have experience working with a wide variety of breeds and temperaments. • Focused Attention: As I currently do not have any resident pets, your dog will receive my undivided attention and 1:1 care. This is a perfect environment for dogs who prefer a calmer, solo setting. • Accommodations: I am happy to use crates if that is what your dog is used to, and I am very comfortable managing dogs with physical limitations or specific medical needs. • Transparency: I only ask that you let me know ahead of time if your dog has any specific triggers or physical restrictions so I can tailor our activities to keep them safe and happy.
About: I have taken care of cats and dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I've watched my neighbors, family, and others' pets, making sure they are getting the top-notch care they deserve! Animals have always been a constant in my life, and I can't remember a time I didn't have any pets around. I work to build a connection with every animal I work with so that they feel comfortable until their human returns home. I've cared for pets big and small, and will always make sure owners get the updates they deserve. I am very flexible in my schedule, as I am a current college student. I have plenty of time in my day to make sure your pet is well cared for! In my home, I have a fenced-in yard with a designated dog area. I have plenty of room inside and outside so that your furry friend will feel comfortable. As for my client's home, I will make sure to understand the rules and boundaries for any animals I am caring for.
About: I’ve grown up being apart of 4-H and surrounded by animals. I’ve had a plethora of different pets growing up including rabbits, dogs, cat, turtles and chickens. I currently have a cat who I am obsessed with. I’m an active runner and would enjoy taking your dog for a walk or jog. I’m reliable and responsible. I have off every Friday and available at any time that day. I’m an early bird so I can care for your pet early mornings on the weekend. I’m respectful of your household and will follow directions as given. I’m comfortable with texting to communicate any details while caring for your fur baby.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Vienna
Sophia was incredibly kind to accept a last-minute booking, and I’m so grateful she did. She was also very patient when we had issues with the access code I gave her. I never planned on getting home late, and she truly saved the day. Even though it was my first time booking with Sophia, I had a really good feeling after looking at her profile, and I was right. Knowing Kim was in such good hands gave me so much peace of mind. Thank you for taking such great care of her! I would absolutely book with Sophia again.

Eliza is the best! She just gets it, and you can tell as soon as you meet her. She knows how to make even nervous dogs feel comfortable, gives each dog individualized care tailored to their temperament, didn't mind a high maintenance picky eater, sent lots of pics, made me feel so secure they were in good hands! Can't sing her praises enough

Winnie was AMAZING with our dog and cat. She gave them tons of attention and made sure they were mentally stimulated. She also sent us thorough updates after each drop-in, which relieved a lot of our anxieties. I would definitely rehire her, and I highly recommend her if you want someone who takes care of your pets like they’re her own.

Nina and Amax took wonderful care of my dog, Winter. From the start they were responsive, kind, and clearly experienced with dogs. They kept me updated and made sure Winter was comfortable and well cared for while I was away. It gave me real peace of mind knowing she was in such good hands. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and caring sitters, and I would happily book with them again.
I felt completely comfortable leaving Beethoven in Darcy‘s capable hands. She wrote extensive notes each day, letting me know how he did and she was always early to arrive and did exactly what I asked, and it was just such a relief to know that he was in good hands. I will definitely reach out when I have another need for a walker or a caretaker for my pup!

Beth L. was able to step in quickly when our sitter cancelled and do drop in visits for our dog while we were away for multiple days. She cheerfully got Nelly up and fed in the morning and put her in her crate at night after ensuring she got some outdoor and play time and water. She was communicative and responsive the whole time and Nelly did well. We really appreciated her help!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Vienna with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
