“Our kitties were in very good hands! Carole handled everything perfectly and with love! She is incredibly knowledgeable about kitties and their care! Highly recommend”

“Becky was great with our two kitties. She spent extra time to get our shy cats to open up. By the end of the week, they were playing with her and accepting lots of pets.”

About: I've taken care of dogs since I helped my mom with her dog boarding business in 2020 and since then have taken care of a multitude of both young and old dogs. I will NOT take last minute requests without a meet & greet. I'm used to picking up after those without potty training or those with stomach issues and sympathizing over those sweet pups. I'm looking to work a part time job over the summer, but I'll still keep myself fairly flexible for pet care and house sitting, since I love animals with all my heart. I'm very flexible with what I have to do for pet care, since I'm used to administering medications, cleaning up after them in case they made a mess inside the home, and loving them to my heart's content. I've taken care of dogs, cats, and even a hedgehog, but I'm willing to learn to adapt and take care of any other kinds of animals!
About: I have been pet-sitting dogs over the last three years. One was an elderly dog that needed meds, which I had to give. I even know how to give shots and ear medicine to cats from experience with my own pet cat. I am an intern teacher until I graduate this spring, so I am not free for the work week. I am available on weekends, but on Sundays, I will be after church. I make sure your pet is comfortable while they wait for you and do all I can to keep them content while they wait for you to return home to them.

About: I am a cat and dog owner, as well as a kitten foster with more than 5 years experience raising and caring for over 120 felines, each of whom had wonderfully different needs and personalities! I have cared for cats with medical needs, undersocialized cats, and neonatal kittens. I can care for cats and dogs of all ages and would love to be your pets’ new best friend and put your mind at ease about their care. I work part time and love taking care of cats and dogs in my free time! I am available for cat boarding, daily dog walks, and house sitting! I have a large room my resident animals do not use that would be dedicated to your cat, with large windows to bird watch and comfortable places to feel safe and snuggle up!
About: I've always taken care of dogs - my family has had up to three at one time! My best friend is my Goldendoodle (Koda) and I love to play and have fun with him, but I also take his care very seriously. He means the world to me and I would treat your dog the same! Walking, feeding, bathing, medicine are all part of that. I'm currently in school and looking for part-time work. My schedule is pretty flexible, so I should be able to accommodate most requests for visiting your pets. I will treat your dog like my own and will make sure he has lots of fun, receives lots of love and gets his energy out!

About: I’ve been a dedicated dog owner for over 10 years and currently have two dogs of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your pets. Through raising and training my own dogs, I’ve developed strong skills in handling different temperaments, reinforcing good behavior, and keeping pets on a consistent routine. I also regularly dog sit and do drop in visits for family friends and have experience caring for both dogs and cats. This includes feeding, walks, playtime, and making sure pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I am also comfortable administering medications when needed and following specific care instructions closely. What really sets me apart is that I treat every pet like my own. I pay close attention to their behavior, comfort, and happiness, and adjust my care to fit each animal’s needs. Whether it is continuing training for younger pets, being patient with seniors, or giving extra attention to shy or anxious animals, I aim to provide reliable and loving care every time. Pet care is already a big part of my daily routine since I have two dogs of my own, so I’m used to planning my day around feeding schedules, walks, and giving them plenty of attention and exercise. I’m currently in school, but I graduate at the beginning of June and will have a very flexible schedule all summer aside from a few planned vacations. This means I’ll be available for consistent care, including drop-in visits, walks, and overnight stays. I’m used to balancing responsibilities and making it a priority to be reliable, on time, and fully present when caring for pets. I focus on keeping pets as comfortable and stress free as possible by sticking closely to their normal routine. In a client’s home, I follow all instructions carefully including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any medications if needed. I also make sure pets get plenty of attention, companionship, and exercise so they feel safe while their owner is away. I’m very respectful of clients’ homes and keep everything clean and organized. I also provide regular updates with photos so you always know how your pet is doing. In my own home, pets are treated like part of the family. I make sure they have a safe, clean environment, lots of supervision, and plenty of affection. Since I have two dogs, I’m experienced in managing multiple pets and making sure everyone is comfortable and getting along. Overall, I adjust my care based on each pet’s needs whether that means extra playtime for high energy dogs, patience with shy pets, or a calm environment for older animals.
About: I am a future dog owner. I recently had a dog we had to put down late last year at age 15.5 and i miss feeding, walking, and playing with him. I work full time from home and take frequest breaks to get outside for myself. I would love to play with dogs while I do this instead. I ideally would love to care for an energetic, friendly and sociable dog that can play around for hours. I have 15 years of experience in training my past dog to work on being obedient, loving, adventurous and most of all adorable. I am also a recent college graduate three years ago and yes quarantine is not something I am good at handling without a furry friend! I work fulltime. And looking to walk, sit, feed, etc anything on weekends. You tell me what you need on the weekends and I bet I can make time for it. I have a lead I setup that lets dogs about 15 feet of space to walk, jog around, pee, etc and a large apartment with more than enough room to play inside.
About: We have owned dogs all our lives and we truly think dog sitting should be done not by big boarding facilities but by loving and caring dog parents that have the experience of loving multiple dogs throughout their lives. My wife and I have had pets from 4 years old to now in our early thirties and we just used a home dog sitter for the first time. We were a little hesistant as this was our first time and it worked out perfectly. Seeing this work in action we both said this is the way a dog should be treated if their owners go away for vacation, so we decided to try to do the same things for our neighborhood. We treat all dogs like they are our own and will not disappoint anyone that books with us. Prior to sitting each dog, I send owners a few questions to learn more about their pup (e.g., Does your dog have health issues, behavioral issues, dietary restraints, etc.?). Services may not be rendered if special needs are not disclosed. Thank you.
About: I have had dogs since I was a kid and I love playing with them and treating them like my kids. I love teaching them new tricks and I like just being around animals. no matter how big a dog or cat is I like the challenge of getting them to like me no matter what it takes to do that. I want to see a dog excited to see me and then I'll know that I'm doing my job right.if I could catch every dog in the world to take care of them would. but I can't because it' not possible. but I do plan on opening a dog rehabilitation center for animals in the future. The is what makes me a dog person. I’m currently a freelance painter so I have a lot of available time on my hands when I’m not doing anything. More importantly I’m able to come at any time of the day or night I have two cats. They never listen to me but I love them with all my heart. I’ve had them since they were babies and they’re like my kids
“Brianne is amazing! She’s so thorough and caring for my senior dog, leaves the best updates after visits, and is extremely communicative! Fully trust her with my special needs dog!”
“Viviana was so sweet and patient with our timid dog. I would definitely recommend her to anyone that has dogs that need extra time to warm up to new people! We will definitely be working with her again in the future 😊”

About: Raising my own dog from puppyhood and caring for dogs of all ages has taught me how to show up with patience, love, and consistency. I’m comfortable with both active pups and laid‑back cuddlers, and I truly enjoy getting to know each dog’s personality. Dogs make life more fulfilling, and it would be an honor to care for your pup with the same warmth I give my own. 💕 Price Transparency I like to keep my pricing simple, fair, and centered on giving each pup the right level of care. My base rate is size‑based so it reflects the time, energy, and handling each dog needs. When caring for two dogs together, my additional‑dog rate is set a little higher in Rover, but I always apply a discount for small and medium pups so you’re never overcharged. Size‑Based Add‑Ons (applied to dog walking and drop-in services) Small–Medium (15–40 lbs): +$0 Large (41–90 lbs): +$5–$7 Giant (90+ lbs): +$10–$12 Second‑Dog Add‑Ons (added on top of my base second‑dog rate of $11 for dog walking and drop-in services) Small–Medium (15–40 lbs): +$0 → $11 total Large (41–90 lbs): +$3–$5 → $14–$16 total Giant (90+ lbs): +$7–$9 → $18-$20 total If you ever have questions about how your rate is calculated, I’m always happy to chat. My goal is to keep things transparent, kind, and tailored to your pups’ needs 🫶🏾 I’m a stay‑at‑home grad student, so my weekday schedule is very open. I’m available for daytime care, check‑ins while you’re at work, and regular walks throughout the day. Your pup won’t have to wait long for attention, and I’m able to follow whatever routine helps them feel comfortable and cared for. I do have my own friendly dog at home, and I always make sure introductions are slow and safe so every pup feels comfortable. We live in a house in a quiet, dog‑friendly neighborhood with plenty of space for your pup to relax, explore, and enjoy walks. I keep a close eye on all interactions and follow whatever boundaries or routines help your dog feel secure.
“Andrea did a great job with our two chihuahua mixes! She understands their needs and they felt comfortable with her right away. She was also great at communicating and keeping us up to date.”

“Courtney was a great pet sitter for my three cats! She was reliable, responsible and kept me updated each day with paragraphs of how my cats were behaving and pictures of them. She took care in how she fed them and cleaned their litter boxes thoroughly. I definitely recommend Courtney as a pet sitter! Thank you Courtney! ?”

Oakton dog parents share their Rover experiences
Seth came over to meet our Miniature Schnauzer, and within short order Sylvia was very comfortable with him. The day of the event--our daughter's wedding--was hectic; it was a great relief to know Sylvia was going to be visited by someone with whom she was clearly smitten. We received pics and an update right on time. Thanks to Seth for taking care of our sweet girl! Highly recommend.

FIVE STARS!! We have 2 dogs and one is very scared of strangers. Jessica was patient and loving with him and he warmed up to her very quickly (faster than any other stranger/dog sitter), and I think they were besties by the end of our trip! Jessica sent detailed communication after each visit along with super sweet pictures. She made wise decisions related to changing weather and communicated everything with us. Our dogs are high energy and she played with the dogs every visit which was awesome. We will definitely be using her services in the future and would 100% reccomend her. I think the dogs are really going to miss her!

Winnie was AMAZING with our dog and cat. She gave them tons of attention and made sure they were mentally stimulated. She also sent us thorough updates after each drop-in, which relieved a lot of our anxieties. I would definitely rehire her, and I highly recommend her if you want someone who takes care of your pets like they’re her own.

I felt completely comfortable leaving Beethoven in Darcy‘s capable hands. She wrote extensive notes each day, letting me know how he did and she was always early to arrive and did exactly what I asked, and it was just such a relief to know that he was in good hands. I will definitely reach out when I have another need for a walker or a caretaker for my pup!

Beth L. was able to step in quickly when our sitter cancelled and do drop in visits for our dog while we were away for multiple days. She cheerfully got Nelly up and fed in the morning and put her in her crate at night after ensuring she got some outdoor and play time and water. She was communicative and responsive the whole time and Nelly did well. We really appreciated her help!

Caroline listened to all my suggestions with Bella and had an amazing night with our 12 week old pup! We had no accidents in the house while we were gone which is a huge bonus! I highly recommend Caroline for her attention to detail, warmth and obvious love for animals.

Matthew was wonderful taking care of Lincoln. He came over ahead of time and did a meet and greet. Then the day of the check-in and walk I got great updates about the visit, a mapped out view of the walk, and pictures of Lincoln out and about on his walk. He even worked in a little training which was great!
