From homemade meals and dedicated schedules for attention and exercise, to soft carpets and peaceful background music (classical, jazz, and lofi), our home is entirely tailored to their comfort. This summer, I devoted much of my time to caring for my senior dog during his battle with heart cancer. Losing him has left an emptiness in my heart, and I am still finding my footing as I adjust to life without him. As I slowly return to my routine, one of my goals is to create a memorial that honors the beautiful life and bond we shared. If I had only a few hours between commitments, I would make sure they had fresh water, a potty break, exercise, a meal if needed, and some quality companionship before I left. Knowing their basic needs are met and that they are safe, content, and cared for is always my priority. When dogs visit my home, they enjoy a secure fenced yard, plenty of attention, and a calm, peaceful environment. If your dog is crate-trained, I can easily accommodate that, or I can provide a private room where they can relax comfortably between outdoor breaks and meals. To ensure the comfort and well-being of all dogs involved, I keep guest dogs separate from my two resident dogs. This allows everyone to enjoy a predictable, low-stress environment and receive individualized attention. We also enjoy neighborhood walks, which are typically around 15 minutes long, depending on the weather and your dog’s needs.
