“Extremely professional. She look care of Artemis very well played with him, fed him and sent us many pictures when we were away. She asked all he right questions and managed everything very well. Showed personal care for him and took care of him like hers.”

“Kristina was great with my two dogs. It was a last minute booking and she took an extra trip to meet us and learn about their care and routine. I would highly recommend her services!”

“Makaylah is a natural with animals and was a lifesaver when I had to take an unexpected trip. My dogs can be a bit wild with new people, but she quickly put them (and me) at ease. She kept me updated with plenty of photos showing all the snuggles and fun, which gave me real peace of mind. I’d absolutely trust her with them again.”

About: For over 20 years I’ve owned and trained 5 loving dogs. When my family and friends saw my dedication to animal care I have been the ‘go to’ person for pet sitting. I’ve also volunteered many hours at the Humane Society and have dealt with animals of many ages, needs, and behavior types. Wether your dog is food motivated, a senior, or high energy, I am dedicated to treat your loved one with care and respect. I’m currently a full time student and full time animal care giver. This allows me to give your pet the most time attention and cuddles they need. I prioritize communication with owners, I like to be very transparent in what I’m doing and with any activities you have for your pet and I. I also care for you pet while making them as comfortable as possible, and mitigating risk and hazards while walking.
“The dogs were immediately comfortable with Leah. Good communication and willingness to do all the complicated medical needs our dog requires. Will definitely work with again!”

“Maria did a wonderful job taking care of our dog while we were on an extended vacation - she stayed at our house so that he could be most comfortable and I loved getting cute pictures and updates everyday!”

“Kaitlin did a phenomenal job for us during a last minute overnight house sitting with our dog and cat! She was very professional and did everything the right way. She also was sure to send lots of pictures and updates. We appreciated the effort Kaitlin put into this and we felt very comfortable with her sitting in our home. We would definitely recommend her and will be booking with her again in the future.”

“Rosemary did a great job house sitting for us for 9 days and taking care of our 2 small dogs. She is very responsive with communication, regularly sent photos, and kept us informed. Upon our return, the dogs were healthy & happy, and the house was neat and clean (with one exception - which was remedied easily enough). We appreciate her help and will call upon her again! Thanks Rosemary!”

“Katy was such a blessing! She cared for my older pups as if they were hers, administering meds and eye drops as required. Always a professional, she kept me informed throughout her stay. Highly recommend this sitter! Sincerely hope to reschedule her in the future.”

“Vinnie is a fantastic sitter! He stayed with our dog Andy while we were gone for nearly 3 weeks. He sent lots of photos, daily updates, and went above and beyond staying with Andy during Halloween and Diwali celebrations since Andy is afraid of fireworks. He took great care of our house as well. Knowing Andy was in good hands with Vinnie allowed us to fully relax on our trip. We recommend him 1000% and will definitely rebook in the future!”

“Suzy was a wonderful house-sitter! She was very attentive to our 2 dogs and cat, and she provided regular updates to us while we were away. I will absolutely seek out her services again in the future. Thanks Suzy!”

“Christina (Mary) was amazing! She sent plenty of cute pics and updates daily. She took the dogs on several walks and also played with them in the local tennis courts fetching the tennis ball. My house was better than when I left it, she even washed the dishes in the dishwasher! I would give her 10 stars if I could. It’s hard leaving pups with a new person the first time but I was never worried.”

“Morgan housesat two dogs for a few days and did a great job communicating the entire time. Also came home to a nice and tidy home I'm about to send her another booking request!”

“Kathrine was wonderful with our 3 fur kiddos! She sent photos and 2-3 updates per day. We are very happy with her overnight sitter option and will certainly hire her again.”

“I am so appreciative of having Lorene as my dog sitter for our recent vacation. She kept us updated with a daily report, added some cute pictures, and learned more of the dogs’ quirks making it a great fit. We knew we could travel without any worries because she took great care of my boys. They loved hanging out with her and Cash even took on the role of “work supervisor”. Would highly recommend Lorene for any of your dog needs.”

“This was my first time working with Christina, and she was great! She’s kind and easy going, reliable, and sent multiple updates. I felt comfortable leaving my pup in her care and will definitely hire her again!”

Oakton pet parents share their Rover experiences
We cannot speak highly enough of Winnie and her care for our pup and home while house sitting. Being away from our pup is incredibly stressful for our family but Winnie's care, experience and communication gave us so much relief that our pup was in amazing hands. We are incredibly lucky to have found Winnie and a million times, yes, to the question of whether we will be booking with Winnie again!

Will was a joy to have in our home taking care of our 110lb Great Pyrenees named Bear! At our initial interview, we knew he would be a good match. He asked good questions. He won us over with his confidence and skill dealing with a very large dog. Bear had a blast in our absence. Will walked him a least 3 times a day, played with him in our fenced yard, and kept Bear on a schedule. Will also took time to work on some of Bear's training exercises and adminstered his monthly meds. I really liked that Will worked from our home, so he spent most of the day with Bear, which is what Bear is accustomed to. We came home to a happy dog and a clean home. We would happily hire Will again.

Eric was awesome. We are very picky parents as our fur baby is a love of our lives! We are quite picky when it comes to anyone that we allow to spend time with our girl. We were a bit nervous since it seemed as though Eric didn’t really have many reviews and seemed to be new on Rover, but that skepticism quickly went out the door when Eric walked in. Sophie immediately gravitated towards him, which is always a great sign! We were able to enjoy a worry, free date night, knowing that our girl was with very capable hands.. Eric seems to be a very nice young man whose parents should be very proud of the son that they raised and the great first impression he maked on those fortunate enough to cross paths with him. We highly recommend him and will be more than happy to provide any additional feedback. Should another pet parent need reassurances that they’re making the right decision by hiring him.
Caroline did sooo well with our timid older dog Annie. Giving her space in the beginning which led to Annie snuggling with her as the night went on:) she is so attentive as well to our young puppy, following our schedule of eating and going out to potty. Our pups are like our children and I knew they were in such great hands!

This was our very first time using Rover, and as extremely overprotective dog parents, we were definitely nervous. But Brad was absolutely amazing from start to finish. He eased our minds with daily updates, complete with photos and videos that showed just how well our dog was doing! We also had a Fi tracker on his collar and it was so reassuring to see how many walks and steps he was getting. Brad took him out so often, even more than our normal routine! Our dog occasionally gets so excited that he’ll throw up if he hasn’t eaten in a while, and when it happened, Brad immediately texted us, cleaned it up, and made sure he ate and drank after. His communication was quick, calm, and thoughtful, which helped us feel totally at ease. It was clear our dog was incredibly well cared for — he got plenty of walks, playtime with his toys, and lots of attention. Honestly, he looked sad when Brad left! Brad also left our home neat and spotless, which we really appreciated. We feel like we hit the jackpot with Brad. We couldn’t have asked for anyone better to take care of our fur baby, and we’d recommend him to absolutely anyone. We hope to book with him again!

Michele went above and beyond to take care of/keep us updated on our dog. He has a few quirks that make leaving him a bit stressful, and she was so accommodating and understanding. We were able to enjoy our time away knowing he was in such good hands. Would definitely book her again!

Catherine watched my 3 animals twice now and she was very diligent in making sure the animals stayed on their routine, she was great at communicating frequently and letting me know if there was anything out of the ordinary with their day. Her availability was good and booked on short notice. She took very good care of everyone while I was gone.

Darcy did a fantastic job of watching our pup when we went out of town for a night and a day. We don't leave him often so were a bit nervous, but she was very sweet to Benson and is clearly a responsible and conscientious person- was extremely considerate of our home, and read and paid attention to our dog care instructions.
