About: With 15+ years of experience caring for a variety of dog breeds, sizes, ages, and behaviors, your dog(s) will feel right at home with my care. Neighbors, friends, and family have entrusted me to walk, feed, house sit, and more for their fur babies. I am flexible and available starting in the early morning into the evening, to help care for your pup. As well as overnight help too! To ensure your dog's comfort and safety, I will ask you for helpful notes and directions about care, walk, and meal preferences, as well as any house rules I should be aware of. I'm responsible, timely, and always aware of my surroundings, ensuring your dog and house's safety is top priority.
“Katherine came for a daily drop in for our dog while we were on vacation. She did an excellent job, and sent me daily reports and pictures. I highly recommend Katherine as a pet sitter!”

“Megan dropped in for a few visits while I was away! she was awesome with the cats and following their routine. Very professional, communicative, warm and reliable. The boys loved her! She made me feel more comfortable being away from my cats. She even watered my flowers while I was gone. I definitely recommend her and will use her for the future!”

“Amanda was amazing! I was frantic with pre-trip packing, cleaning, arrangements (etc.) when she came to meet my girls. She was so patient and came well prepared having already read all the info I uploaded to our rover account. Amanda went above and beyond! I had warned her that one of my girls was skittish but generally warms up to people quickly and is super cuddly. What neither of us was prepared for was that my little scaredy cat would hide from Amanda on day 1 and no number of treats, toys, or food could lure her out or give away her hiding spot! I haven’t travelled in over a year, so that was about the only scenario I hadn’t envisioned or prepared her for. My cats need to be kept separate because they have a little bit of food agression and one had just had a dental extraction that we weren’t expecting so they were getting different diets. Amanda came back two more times that day trying to locate her, and was finally successful on her third visit of the day and was able to get my little stinker closed in her designated area of the house before the dinner feeders went off. Amanda was quick to answer any questions I had and sent comprehensive updates and wonderful photos of my girls each day. I don’t know if my little scaredy cat actually came all the way out (most photos she was under or behind something! 😆), but she peeked out each day and let Amanda pet her and give her treats. Amanda took care of all their needs, including a daily medicine for one cat and a wet food diet (which included cleaning, loading, and programming a special feeder) for the other. It was so reassuring to know that our girls were so well cared for while we were so far away. They both seemed to really enjoy her, though one cat had a very unique way of showing it! We are very grateful to Amanda!”

“Becky is great to work with and does a great job with coordination, planning and of course care of the pets. I hope to call on Becky again for our next trip away. I would highly recommend trusting her with your pets and home. Thanks again Becky.”

“Courtney is a wonderful cat sitter. My kitties greeted her at the door every time she visited. She took time to play and sit with them after feeding and cleaning their litter. I would greatly recommend Courtney to take care of your kitties.”

“Laura took good care of Rocky. She knows that older dogs require patience and a little extra attention. Rocky was happy to see her when she came by after we got home. I know he has a new friend and will hire her again.”

“Fatima was amazing!! She sent pictures and updates about my cats while we were away and I was able to enjoy my trip without being worried about my little guys. We are so grateful that she was able to check in on them and she will be our go to sitter in the future.”

“Did such a good job with my high maintenance boys! Also maintained really great communication and updates! Came home to very happy and well cared for fellas!”

“Chris is amazing with our cavapoo for mid-day drop ins several days a week. She is reliable and was patient till our pup got acclimated to the new routine. He now looks forward to their walls and I always get feedback and a photo. Communication is open and clear and and I’m so thrilled we found her!”

“Overall Sierra was great. She was very communicative and was willing to sort of modify what a normal visit would look like since I have pretty shy and anxious cats.”

“Dani did a great job taking care of my senior kitties. She was very mindful of making sure one got his blood pressure meds on a consistent schedule.”

“Mallory has dog sat our golden retriever twice now, and has done an amazing job each time. Our dog loves Mallory, which we can tell through the pictures she provides each visit. She is detailed in what took place with the visit and is very caring for our dog each time. She gives loving attention and treats our dog as if she were her own.”

“Katrina is on time and our Pua enjoyed her drop ins. Our Pua is a senior dog who is deaf and has three legs and Katrina shared photos of Pua on her drop ins and it assured me Pua is getting the care she needs. I’ll definitely request for Katrina again.”

“Amanda made me feel very at ease about the care my cat received while I was away. She left detailed notes and pictures of each visit and took the time to play with her in addition to feeding and cleaning the litter. Amanda was easy to communicate with throughout the process and I would definitely book her again!”

“Christabelle did a fantastic job! She was reliable, communicative, and took great care of our pets while we were away. We came home to happy, well-cared-for animals and had complete peace of mind during our trip!”

“This is the second time Trent watched my old dog and my wife's two cats. Trent is easy to work with on scheduling and has earned my trust. My dog is older, needs some meds, and is a little slow on the walk so trust is important. We unintentionally threw a curve ball at him this time. When making a new key I decided to go with a dog shaped key. It worked, but not well, and came apart inside the lock when Trent tried to use it. He contacted me and exhibited patience as I walked him through how to break into my home. BTW, we upgraded to a lock with a keypad and the ability to unlock remotely.”

Laleh is an absolutely wonderful cat sitter! Communication was great throughout, and she took excellent care of my cat. I really appreciated how attentive and thoughtful she was. It gave me a lot of peace of mind while I was away. I would definitely recommend her and would be happy to have her look after my cat again!

He is very reliable and response quickly. We had AC issue while we were away and he visited our house to feed our cat so we asked him to check the AC thermostat. He showed us the thermostat with his Facetime just like he did with our cat. It was helpful to confirm the thermostat was off.

Megan took care of our cats while we were away. She tried her best to make our cats feel comfortable. Whatever we requested during our trip, she always followed that and gave us detailed updates after every visit, along with photographs. We highly recommend Megan for pet sitting.
Becky took wonderful care of Margaret while we were away. She came every day right when she was supposed to, made sure Margaret was fed, and even brushed her. She also sent us pictures every day, which gave us peace of mind while we were gone. Before long, it was pretty clear Margaret was very comfortable with her. We’d absolutely trust Becky to take care of her again.

Matt is an exceptional pet sitter who has taken care of our cats several times over the years. He has gone above and beyond to make it through snowy and icy weather and check on the animals despite the hazardous conditions. He and his wife Carolina are our go-to sitters.

Seth was absolutely amazing! The constant communication and the daily pictures and videos he sent make you very comfortable. When I came home everything was clean for my cat and left the place just like how we left it. I would definitely recommend Seth as I will be booking him more for the future

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
