About: I’m a recent college grad taking my opportunity to provide real genuine care for people’s fur babies so they don’t have to worry while having their time away. I’ve grown up having dogs and cats my whole life and have raised some amazing pets/personalities thus far. Also have some experience with more proper training having fostered a dog before who was in a program where he went on to become a police service dog. I’m a people person as well and want to be respectful to the owners, their needs, and make sure they feel at ease with me handling their fur babies. I’m currently pursuing an entrepreneurial path so I’m pretty flexible. Weekdays and weekends, able to make a lot of different times work with enough notice ahead of time. More than happy for drop ins, walks, and overnight sitting. Also boarding at my own home upon messaging. I have a fenced yard and 4 well trained dogs to keep your pup company. I already walk my dogs throughout the day so activities would be no problem. For caring at a client’s home, it’s important to me to have a strong conversation ahead of time so I understand the dog’s routine, rules, needs, and any important safety details.

“I highly recommend Fernanda as a dog walker. She is reliable, always on time, and communicates exceptionally well. She responded to my request quickly and made the entire process easy and stress-free. I appreciate her professionalism and dependability, and I always feel confident that my dog is in good hands.”

About: I am currently a federal contractor, that works from home. I have a flexible schedule, and can assist with pet care throughout the day. * My resume working with animals: In 2020, I worked at Healthy Hound Playground, where I managed playrooms with lots of dogs. From 2015-2020, I worked on a competitive horse farm. In 2016, I worked at the Fairfax Humane Society with the quarantine dogs, and senior horses. * Why I do Rover: I currently have an 11 year old cat who I love dearly. I had a 10 year old lab, who I loved with my whole heart, but sadly she recently passed away to cancer. So I decided to do rover for furry friend companionship and enrichment. I miss those daily walks and tail wags! * I include many photos and detailed summaries of all visits. I respond fast, and I am very accommodating. Let me know if you have any questions! I work remote, so stay rest assured your fur baby won’t be alone! I can do drop-ins and walks in the middle of the day! When I am house sitting, I aim to maintain your pets routine. I accommodate your pups activity level. I am able to do multiple walks a day. My goal is to keep your dogs and cats company in the comfort of their own home. I tend to plants-I’m also a fellow plant mom!
“Immy was early to our puppy check in. She took Cashew out to use the bathroom, fed her dinner and then took her for a long walk. She sent me a picture of her during her check in and was super responsive! Immy was our first experience with Rover and we will be requesting her again!”

“Emily was the kindest cat sitter we could have asked for. I felt 100% comfortable leaving her access to my home and my beloved cat for the time we were away on vacation. I will definitely call her the next time we travel without our cat.”

“Teju communicates extremely well and showed true care towards my cat. They went above and beyond while I was away and I would absolutely love to rebook them in the future.”

“Nazeeya is a super kind, thoughtful dog sitter who made sure to ask all the important questions to be able to care for Baby in the best way. She has a true love for animals and sent very cute updates of Baby so I could see how he was doing while I was away. I would recommend Nazeeya to anyone who needs a loving, experienced animal care taker!”

Blevinstown cat parents share their Rover experiences
manrong was communicative, reliable, clean, and great with both our highly anxious dog and cat. our cat has never come out for a sitter until we booked with her, which really spoke volumes. manrong also followed all my instructions and made adjustments when asked. she was patient and gentle with our babies so i felt completely at ease while we were gone. i’d definitely recommend her!

Ilana took wonderful care of my 2 cats. My very shy cat even came out for pets and love while she was there. She kept me well informed of how much food was being eaten by my other cat who often has trouble eating when I leave. I will gladly book Ilana again in the future!

Jen took care of our pup and guinea pigs for a second time, and just like the first, she did an incredible job. Her attention to detail is impressive and she truly cares about each and every animal she takes care of. She remembers their funny little quirks and routines and puts us at ease every time! Will book again and again!

Meghan is amazing. She has been my go-to cat sitter for 7 years. She has known my cats since they were only kittens. Meghan spends quality time with each cat, petting, playing and truly loving them. The daily photos are precious. Meghan has become family and the cats absolutely love her visits. 5 paws!

Macie was so great! I made a request a bit last minute and she was able to drop in and give my cats some love and attention. I really appreciated it - because I am a worry wart! She sent pics and made sure theor food dispenser and water fountain were working. I know they were happy having somebody stop by. Thank you again, Macie!
