I would not recommend booking Carol. Our experience started poorly with the meet-and-greet, which turned into a 20-minute lecture about everything we were supposedly doing wrong as cat owners instead of discussing our cat's routine and care. She also made it very clear that she was annoyed by the twice-daily visit schedule, despite accepting the booking and being paid for it. She mentioned it to me on more than one occasion, and we later heard her complaining on our camera about having to make multiple daily visits for another client as well. If the schedule was an issue, it should have been addressed before accepting the job. During one visit, she spent roughly 40 minutes sitting on our stairs directly in view of our indoor camera, on speaker phone with a friend talking negatively about us and our reasons for traveling. She also discussed another client's family (including details about their cats and vacation) and spoke very poorly about several other clients. That lack of professionalism and respect for client privacy was extremely concerning. On her final visit, we heard multiple doors upstairs opening and closing on our camera, even though our cat remained in front of the camera the entire time and there was no need to be upstairs. When leaving, she attempted to exit quickly before my husband contacted her through the camera and asked her to return the key immediately. We were left questioning why she was accessing rooms unrelated to our cat's care in the first place. She also used a brush that she said she uses on other pets to groom our cat without asking our permission, which raised hygiene concerns. Throughout the visits, she was heard on camera saying she forgot the treats and reminding herself to put the food down. We hired someone to care for our cat while we were away, and instead we were left feeling uncomfortable, disrespected, and unable to trust that our home and pet were being cared for appropriately. Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience.

This is the third time we have used Carol A. She is wonderful. Our pets are happy to see us when we get home and look very well taken care of.

I always feel comfortable away from home when I know my kitties are well cared for by Carole.

Carole did an awesome job with our two cats. She took time to play with them, and gave daily pills with no issues. We’ll definitely book with her again!
