About: Pets have been a big part of my life, and I know the difference between a pet who is just being watched and one who is truly cared for. I currently share my home with a cat, so daily care is second nature to me: feeding on schedule, fresh water, clean litter boxes, and the small routines cats count on.Especially Anxious (i know when your gargoyle wants to lurk-and when the rubs are needed. I’ve had two dogs, and both taught me a lot. My first, Ed, was an 80-pound American Foxhound rescued as a suspected abandoned hunting dog who had never lived indoors. Together we worked through house training, leash manners (no more yanking), a fear of stairs (which involved carrying him up three flights until he stopped being scared), and a distaste for rain. His name was not what he was rescued with, but he was clearly always an Ed. With my second dog, Kovu, I spent a lot of time on socialization with other dogs and on keeping him calm and quiet when left alone. Because of that, I’m patient with nervous, rigid, big dogs, and dogs still learning the rules. I know that consistency and a calm presence go a long way. All Creatures Welcome! I used Carole for the first time and she was fantastic. She’s so kind and easy to talk to, she became an Instant friend. She was dependable, responsive, and took such great care of pickles. He’s a timid cat and she was able to get him out on his own and within a day was getting belly rubs and looking forward to her arrival. She encouraged play and left little treats around the house for him to find, keeping him active while I was away. I will definitely use her again.
