About: I’ve cared for my pet dogs for the last 20 years, two of them required special needs due to illness. I grew up with cats and dogs my entire life and also had a family farm for 11 1/2 years. I have experience with a wide variety of dog breeds, differing ages and sizes. Both of my last two dogs recently passed away, so I’m seeking to offer care to help others in the meantime to fill the void of the loss. I will care for your pets as if they were my own. I currently work full-time, but I telework two days a week. I am available most weekends for now and could also take a break during my in office work days for potty breaks or short walks, if needed. I have a one bedroom apartment. I still have an available crate for use as needed. My complex has a nature trail and dog park on site. There are also other trails nearby.
“Alex is a very responsible and pet loving person. He took very good care of my dog Adele when my husband and I were away, he even went further to help water my plants in which I appreciate so much. He always made Adele ate her food before he leaves, and he also tried to avoid other dogs while walking Adele since Adele is not friendly with other dogs. Alex was very meticulous, he will stand by water for Adele while walking her in a hot day and he will try walking Adele under the shade too . This was my first time using rover I was so nervous but Melianna guided me through the whole process!!! She made me feel so comfortable and reassured. Adelle was amazing! I booked her to walk my dog twice a day while I was working and unfortunately my dog had a rare accident in the house. Samantha is wonderful and a true animal lover. All of our pets were comfortable with her as soon as they met her. On each visit, she made sure each one had a big dose of cuddles and hugs. She was great about cleaning up any accidental messes they made and also disposed of any "gifts" our one cat brings in from his outside adventures. She kept in contact with us regularly while we were away thru text messages and photos, too. We came home to very happy pets, and we were very happy with the care Samantha gave them.
My dog loved having Fiona over to take him on his walks! She truly cares about animals and is such a great caretaker. I also liked how responsive she was from booking and through each walk to let me know how my furry family member was doing. I would pick her again for my future dog care needs!
