“Alex is a very responsible and pet loving person. He took very good care of my dog Adele when my husband and I were away, he even went further to help water my plants in which I appreciate so much. He always made Adele ate her food before he leaves, and he also tried to avoid other dogs while walking Adele since Adele is not friendly with other dogs. Alex was very meticulous, he will stand by water for Adele while walking her in a hot day and he will try walking Adele under the shade too . I feel so relieved to have Alex taking care of Adele while my husband and I are away for a week. I have no hesitation to recommend Alex to everybody here even my neighbors 😊Thank you Alex! 🐕🐕🐕🐕💕💕💕”

About: I offer drop-in visits and dog walking services for dogs, cats, birds, and small mammals. Whether your pet needs a walk, playtime, feeding, medication, enrichment, or just some extra company while you're away, my goal is to keep them comfortable, safe, and happy while maintaining their normal routine. I have professional experience in animal welfare and veterinary medicine, including caring for dogs, cats, exotics, reptiles, birds, livestock, and small mammals. I’m comfortable administering medications, recognizing signs of stress or illness, and working with pets of all personalities, including those who may be shy, nervous, or need a little extra patience. Animals have always been more than just a job for me; they're genuinely my passion. I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care and accommodate a variety of scheduling needs. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry, feathered, or scaled family member, and I strive to provide reliable care, clear communication, and plenty of updates so you can have peace of mind while you're away. Currently available every day of the week. Pet care is already a regular part of my life. I recently moved and, for the time being, am unable to have my own cat with me, so I really miss having animals around outside of work. Pet sitting and dog walking are great ways for me to stay connected with animals while helping other pet owners. I have experience caring for senior pets and animals with medical needs, and I am comfortable administering medications as directed. I am patient, attentive to behavior cues, and focused on each pet’s comfort and safety. I also have experience continuing basic training and reinforcing routines already in place to support consistency and positive behavior.
“Megan is an amazing dog walker for my dog Bowie! She is easy to get in touch with and has been super flexible with scheduling. I know Bowie looks forward to his weekly afternoon walks!!”

“I am so glad I found Sam for my two guys, Lucky and Charlie. She is so good with them! They really love her and her adorable kids, who help her out sometimes! Sam is prompt and has been able to be flexible. She's a keeper. Thanks Sam!”

I am comfortable with dog walking, feeding, playtime, administering basic care, and keeping pets on their normal routines to help them feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I also work in healthcare, which has taught me responsibility, attentiveness, and compassion. I am currently a full-time college student home for the summer and work part-time, but I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide reliable and attentive pet care throughout the week. I am available for dog walking, drop-in visits, pet sitting, feeding, playtime, and check-ins during mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends depending on the day. I understand how important consistency and routine are for pets, and I will always make sure your dog or cat receives plenty of attention, exercise, care, and companionship while you are away. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. I am dependable, attentive, respectful of clients’ homes, and committed to creating a calm, safe, and loving environment for your pets at all times.
“Emily walked our dog Molly during the day for a week. I had a good impression of her from the beginning, she really seemed determined to make our shy dog Molly comfortable. She gave updates so I knew how Molly was doing and even sat with her when she was feeling scared. She did such a great job that we decided to put her into Emily's doggy daycare on a regular basis. Highly recommended.”

About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was 15 years old for family members, friends, neighbors, people from church, work etc. I've also fostered puppies in the past and have volunteered walking senior dogs from the shelter. I have cared for dogs with medical issues - giving medication, helping recover from procedures, etc. I work from home so your pet will not spend any time alone. First thing in the morning I will let your pup out to the fenced in back yard so they can do any urgent business. Then we'll go for a walk around the block and/or a visit to the neighborhood dog park. Your dog will have unlimited opportunities to relieve themselves in the backyard throughout the day, and I always do at lease one mid-day walk/visit to the dog park. After work we'll go for another walk and be able to really play at the park for a little while (if you aren't comfortable with dog park visits we can stick to walks). We'll spend the evening playing and relaxing at home and then after dinner/before bed we'll do a final walk around the block. If your pup needs a bathroom break in the middle of the night they will be let out in the back yard. I am home most of the time on the weekends aside from a run, bike ride, trip to the grocery store, etc. I'll never be away from home more than 3 hours. I live in an end unit townhome with a fenced in yard (the fence is less than two years old with no gaps or damage). Your pup will have virtually unlimited access to the backyard to go to the bathroom or just relax outside. I do have one dog of my own, she is a 25lb rescue from Puerto Rico, she is extremely friendly and loves other dogs so your dog will have a buddy and won't be alone. There is also a dog park in my neighborhood and we go there at least twice a day (weather permitting, and only if you are comfortable with that). I am very active and get out for a walk at least 3 times a day. Dogs are people too so your pet will be able to sit on the couch and sleep on the bed if you are ok with that - I am happy to stick to any rules you implement at home.

About: Hello! I have been a dog owner since I was a little kid, and most recently was a pet parent to my spouse’s dog, Tucker! He was such a sweetie, but very reactive and high needs. He taught me so much about being responsible for a reactive dog, and with him I attended several training courses and also learned how to administer medications! I love dogs and all animals, and it is important to me to treat them with kindness and respect. I promise to treat your babies the same 😊 I am currently studying for an exam and not working, so pet care would get me out of the house! I am looking for a side hustle and there is the added bonus of spending time with animals 🥰 I have extensive experience caring for dogs, and will pay close attention to the details and instructions left by clients. I also love to take cute pictures of the fur babies and make sure they’re feeling cared for until parents come back for the day!

“Fernanda was very professional and amazing with our mini dachshund! He is a very stubborn and loud puppy but she made him feel very comfortable and took care of him. I highly recommend Fernanda for any dog needs you may have! Thank you and we can’t wait to book you again!!”

“Bailey is always excited to see Deitra and David. They are very kind and are working to encourage him to walk without pulling on the leash. He’s more content for the rest of the day after he has had his walk.”

About: Taking care of dogs has always been a love of mine. I grew up with a chocolate lab who passed away earlier this year (March 2026), and have been wanting to be around dogs since. I fed, cared for, and played with my lab until the day he couldn't anymore, and I would love to have the opportunity to take care of someone else's pet. I'm a college student from JMU home for the summer, looking to stay busy! I love pets and would love to take care of others, as my chocolate lab passed away earlier this year. I have a fenced-in yard from when I had my dog and a huge area for them to play and run around at any point in time.
“Hailey is great. Super quick to respond, asks questions (doesn't assume), sweet with the dogs, provides detailed feedback. Looking forward to her watching our dogs for a long weekend.”

My family was very happh with Ji Ung and Hyunjoo taking care of our dog Toast :) They were very nice from the moment we met them and we werr able to explain both on the website as well as inperson any comments or extra details about what Toast might need. They would even send us a couple of videos here and there of him eating or playing which reassured us how well he was taken care of. Thank you both again for taking care of him so well!

Samantha is wonderful and a true animal lover. All of our pets were comfortable with her as soon as they met her. On each visit, she made sure each one had a big dose of cuddles and hugs. She was great about cleaning up any accidental messes they made and also disposed of any "gifts" our one cat brings in from his outside adventures. She kept in contact with us regularly while we were away thru text messages and photos, too. We came home to very happy pets, and we were very happy with the care Samantha gave them.

She was so kind and such a joy to meet! We feel really good about trusting her with our dog and home! Right away she connected with our doberman and you can tell she has a lot of knowledge and experience! We are looking forward to working with her for walks and out of town stays!

We booked another service with Paige for several days and she took the absolute best care of our pup! She provided consistent updates, was on time for each visit, and followed his daily routine without difficulty. We were traveling for holidays, so our minds were even more at ease knowing our pup was happy and well taken care of. I would highly recommend booking with Paige!

Fatima was fantastic with our dog! She demonstrated great skill in walking our 50 pound, curious, high energy dog around our neighborhood. Fatima showed great care and compassion towards our dog as well. Our dog was wagging her tail and was enthusiastic to be with Fatima. She really seemed to like interacting with Fatima! We would definitely request Fatima again for future dog care thru Rover!
