“Sarahi was incredible with my dog Eisley. My dog was immediately comfortable with her and was excited for walk time everyday. Would absolutely book her again and the only reason she is not helping any longer is because I am moving.”

“Deitra and David are a kind couple who clearly love dogs. We’ve only used them twice, but they take my dog Bailey for walks when I’m home, so I have seen their interaction with him. Bailey knows good humanoids when he meets them, and he gives them his wholehearted approval! Whether one or both of them come, they arrive at the agreed-upon time and fully prepared. I appreciate that they’re committed to backing me up in getting Bailey to walk nicely on the leash. Safety of my dog and his walker is my primary concern, with Bailey’s enjoyment being a close second. I feel confident that my boy is safe in Deitra and David’s care, and he returns home with a big smile on his face. I look forward to having their help in providing Bailey more outdoor exposure.”

“Daniel was fantastic with Jack! He was always on time and super reliable during the two weeks I was away. With Glenn working 6/10 shifts, Dan’s daily walks gave Jack a much-needed break and helped us out a lot. We’re really grateful for the care and consistency— we’ll definitely be using him again. Highly recommend!”

About: My family is full of huuuuge animal lovers! Because of this, I’ve unofficially had years of experience with dogs, and more recently cats too! My three older siblings have two dogs each so I’ve had experience with a variety of breeds, personalities, and energy levels. I’m willing to house sit or pay your pup a visit any day of the week, I will treat your home with the utmost respect and care for your pet like my own. I know, as a pet parent myself, that I’d like detailed updates on my dog as well as many pictures so I’ll do the same for you! I'Il treat them like my very best friend, I'll play with them, take them for walks around the neighborhood for some fresh air, and of course provide cuddles.
“You can really tell she genuinely loves dogs! She’s so sweet and caring with our dog, always keeps us updated, and makes us feel completely comfortable leaving him with her. Frankie is always happy to see her 😊 Highly recommend!”

“Emily walked our dog Molly during the day for a week. I had a good impression of her from the beginning, she really seemed determined to make our shy dog Molly comfortable. She gave updates so I knew how Molly was doing and even sat with her when she was feeling scared. She did such a great job that we decided to put her into Emily's doggy daycare on a regular basis. Highly recommended.”

“Alexander is amazing! He really loves dogs and shows so much love and care for our pup, Benji. We are so happy with his service! He gives us detailed updates each time and we are so thankful and relieved to know Benji is in great hands. :)”

“Hailey is great. Super quick to respond, asks questions (doesn't assume), sweet with the dogs, provides detailed feedback. Looking forward to her watching our dogs for a long weekend.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Loch Lomond
We had a wonderful meet-and-greet and neighborhood walk today, and this walker is absolutely lovely! They naturally they handled commands with my high energy pup. If you need someone who is both highly capable and genuinely caring to look after your pup, I cannot recommend them enough!

My family was very happh with Ji Ung and Hyunjoo taking care of our dog Toast :) They were very nice from the moment we met them and we werr able to explain both on the website as well as inperson any comments or extra details about what Toast might need. They would even send us a couple of videos here and there of him eating or playing which reassured us how well he was taken care of. Thank you both again for taking care of him so well!

She was so kind and such a joy to meet! We feel really good about trusting her with our dog and home! Right away she connected with our doberman and you can tell she has a lot of knowledge and experience! We are looking forward to working with her for walks and out of town stays!

This was our second booking with Kasey. She was easy to work with and great with our 3 dogs. She was quick to recognize their preferences and skilled at meeting individual needs. Our dogs clearly enjoyed their time with her and they napped/slept well after her visits.

This was my first time having Hayleigh walk my dog, and it was a great experience. My dog liked her right away, which is always a good sign. She was kind, responsive, and very responsible. I’m really glad I found her and will definitely use her again when I’m traveling for work. Thanks, Hayleigh ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
