“Jasper is someone who truly has a way with animals! It was my first time leaving my recently rehomed cat alone and I was super nervous since she can be a little picky and has some abandonment issues. Jasper took great care of her! He was super responsive and sent amazingly detailed daily reports that not only showed she was well taken care of but showed that both of them had bonded a little bit over the 10 days! Jasper also went above and beyond to restock her on litter and despite having a long commute over was super communicative if his commute was running long. Will definitely be working with Jasper again and I highly recommend him as he is truly committed to animals and is also a lovely person!”

“Mariah took great care of our cats and was happy to accommodate giving one of our cats medication. We will definitely plan on booking her again the next time we are away”
“Dominick is a great dog sitter. Great communication, very polite and took great care of my dog. I would recommend over and over. I will be booking him for my next out of town.”

“Samantha is fantastic! We have enlisted her help a few times now and she’s wonderful. I highly recommend reaching out to her to help you watch your pet! She has come by our home a few times and can be trusted!”

“Leigh took wonderful care of our cats while we were out of town. Communication was great. When we came home it was easy to see that our cats were well taken care of. I would not hesitate to book Leigh again.”

“Having a 19 year old cat, we did not want to leave her with just anyone while we were anyway. Daniel was willing to come by for a meet and greet to make sure he was a good match. He was excellent to work with for set up and came by on schedule and spent time feeding and providing company in our absence. Daniel provided pictures for each visit which was comforting. If you are looking for someone who is dependable and friendly with your pet, he is your person.”

About: I’ve been working at Dogtopia of Manassas for about a year, gaining daily hands-on experience with dogs of all kinds. I also have three fur babies of my own—two cats and one dog—so caring for animals is a big part of my everyday life and something I truly love. I currently work at Dogtopia of Manassas, but I make sure to schedule my time so I can still give pets plenty of attention and care. Whether it’s before or after my shifts or on my days off, I’m dedicated to being reliable and making sure your pets feel loved, comfortable, and well taken care of. I am very attentive when it comes to pet care and always prioritize safety, comfort, and overall well-being. I follow routines carefully, provide a safe and clean environment, and make sure each pet gets the right balance of exercise, attention, and rest. I also stay alert to any changes in behavior to ensure they remain happy and healthy while in my care.
“Nicole is amazing! With the government shutdown and all the issues with flights, our flight got canceled so we’re had to stay away for another night. Panicking I reached out to Nicole and she quickly reached back. She was able to stop by the house and check in on our parrot to make sure she has food and water for tomorrow. Thank you so much Nicole!!!!”

“Nadia was the absolute greatest! Went above and beyond for our cat (Chino)! She took care of her and showed her so much love for a whole week and also cleaned for us as well! Nadia provides lots of details and kept my wife and I updated on everything as well. Definitely recommend Nadia!!”

“Maddy was great!! She gave updates and pics of my cat Lily and she enjoyed her company too. Super nice and brought in my packages! Will def. book Maddy again to give me that peace of mind while I’m away.”

About: I grew up in a pet loving home, where at any given time we had at least two cats and one dog living under our roof. As young as 12 years old, I was entrusted by neighbors to pet sit, and I took part in caring for and training my own family pets. I now have 4 cats and a dog of my own, and I promise to love and care for your fur babies as I would for my own. I’m currently working part time as a dog groomer, however my schedule is very unstructured, so it changes from week to week. Usually however, I’m only working 2-3 days a week, which leaves my schedule wide open to spend my days with your fur babies! I am unable to care for any additional animals in my own home, however I would be more than happy to watch your babies in your home! I would ensure your home was treated with respect and would do my part in keeping it clean. I’d be able to crate your pups if desired, as well as clean litter boxes, as well as any other care-taking tasks required.
“Shaye is lovely and gets on the floor with our baby gurl Luna who is a very affectionate labradoodle. Shaye is incredibly responsible and says what she’ll do and does what she says. We have asked Shaye to look after Luna while we are travelling and she’ll be our go to person for Luna! Call her for sure :) Ta! Dev”

“Outstanding care! From the detailed updates (those photos are amazing!) to the spotless litter area and playful energy, you treated my home and Spirit with such respect. Appreciate for your help!”

“Alex took such great care of Nellie, sending updates & photos and going above and beyond snuggling with her and taking her on good walks. So glad I found him!! Nellie has a new best friend”

I’ve been taking care of all types of pets working at the clinic like dogs, cats, bunnies, guinea pigs, even pigs! I adore animals so much! From small to big, I love them all. I do have my own dog her name is Luna and i’ve been her main caregiver since she was 6 months old! Shes now 5!! I hope you'll give me the opportunity to care for your animals! :) I’m currently working part time and i’m wanting to make a little bit of extra money! I also want more experience with handling animals since i’m planning on going to school to become a veterinary technician. I will take very good care of your animals! They will get all the food, water, and play time! I’m sure they’ll have a blast with me. :)
About: Hello! My name is Sandrine and I've always grown up around animals. We have a three-year-old dog named Piper who LOVES playing with other dogs. She is an active dog so we are always going on long walks, dog parks, or hikes. I am a very nurturing, caring, and responsible dog owner and I would treat your dog just like it would be my own. I work from home, so I am home pretty much all day. I always take Piper on a hike long hike or we go on multiple long walks around the neighborhood. Piper is very good with all types of dogs and we have seen her bring shy dogs out of their shells! I have a fenced-in backyard where dogs can safely play, run around, or just sunbathe if that’s more their style. Inside, pets are welcome to make themselves at home — whether that’s curling up on the couch, lounging with a toy, or enjoying a cozy nap spot

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all sizes and personalities. I grew up with a giant breed dog and three cats, currently have two cats of my own, and I am an animal shelter volunteer! I’m comfortable with dogs of any size and temperament (both laid-back cuddle bugs and high-energy dogs that need extra exercise and attention). Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, or just having someone nearby to keep them company, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I treat every pet like family and always aim to make their time with me stress-free and fun! I just graduated college and my full time job doesn’t start until mid July, so other than the occasional hanging out with friends, I have a wide open schedule! I am extremely flexible and will follow the owner’s usual routine as much as possible. I am comfortable with leashed walks as well as supervising dogs in fenced yards — I will not walk dogs off-leash or leave unsupervised in yards. I am happy to take dogs on adventures or just chill, but for the most part I am happy to do whatever the owner prefers!
About: Everyone knows me as the animal person. One time, a coworker found an abandoned guinea pig on the way to work and brought it to me, knowing I would drop everything to give her care. I've volunteered as a foster for countless kittens and several puppies. As I find myself currently between pets, I have found a lot of joy in providing pet care services for friends and family! I am currently a full-time engineering student working from home. My daily and weekly schedules are extremely flexible, allowing me to prioritize your pet's needs and stick with their familiar routines in your absence. I take time to learn each pet’s routine, preferences, and needs, and provide attentive care including feeding, walks, playtime, companionship, and medication as directed. I prioritize gentle, patient handling and aim to keep daily life as normal and comfortable as possible while their owners are away, with thoughtful updates provided along the way.

I had an excellent experience! Emily was incredibly kind, communicative, and took wonderful care of my cats. I came home to happy, well-cared-for animals, and the flowers she left as a thank-you were such a thoughtful and unexpected touch. I would absolutely book with Emily again and highly recommend her to anyone on Rover.
