“Hailey truly went above and beyond watching my pup while we were away at the beach! Initial introduction was warm and could trust she'd be attentive and affectionate towards him. Updated me with photos and comments during our trip, and when I came back the place was as tidy as when we left it! She even made a handwritten note and Polaroid photo of my doggo which I will cherish. Very kind lady who will treat your pet great, highly recommend”

About: *One client at a time. *20+ years of experience taking care of fur babies and providing basic grooming needs. *Home all day and can provide constant attention. *Daily updates and pictures will be provided. (taking pictures of babies and fur babies is a hobby of mine) *Walks multiple times per day (weather permitting). *can provide basic grooming such as brushing, teeth cleaning. I am currently a stay at home mom and my human baby is at school full time now. I have a small havanese 11lbs names Ellie who keeps me company. My little family loves having and fostering fur babies. Having your fur baby to dote on would be a treat for us. I love taking morning nature walks with fur babies, but I also have a small fenced backyard to play in. Though my family has a very social and friendly havanese we have gates that we can secure to keep her separated if your fur baby prefers its own space. If I need to leave the house for school pick up etc they will be separated on different floors of the house. Their safety is my top priority. Other wise they will be free to roam and explore the house with me. Please feel free to share any special instructions that will make your fur baby more comfortable and feel safe away from home.
“Keirsten and Zeeke hit it off immediately and it was refreshing to see them both have an amazing time while she house sat and took care of our elderly statesman. She provided constant updates, pictures, videos, and made sure to ask all the important questions to take care of our pup. Would definitely recommend.”

“Finding someone who wants to pet sit two Great Danes is no easy task, but Elizabeth is an absolute natural! From the moment she came over for the initial meet-and-greet, she was so wonderful with them that they were genuinely upset when she left. She did an incredible job house-sitting and taking care of my giant pups in their own environment. She even went above and beyond by tolerating both of them crowding her on the bed—anyone with Danes knows they are world-class bed hogs! I could tell they were safe, loved, and thoroughly spoiled the entire time. I highly recommend Elizabeth to anyone looking for a top-tier pet sitter. In fact, I’m pretty sure my dogs are secretly hoping I travel again just so they can spend more time with her! 😊”

Musu was able to board our two cats for a few weeks even though we asked for it last minute. She was very flexible and considerate with our situation (we had to extend the stay last minute too). I have received updates daily with pictures and the communication was great. My cats were well taken care of. Would book again!

Keira was an absolutely phenomenal sitter for our cranky old lady Bug! A ton of great communication and pictures, we never had to worry about how Bug was doing. Even though Bug was extremely difficulty taking her pills, Keira displayed a ton of patience with our pup. I could not recommend her enough!!

Gabbys great! I was kinda a nervous wreck leaving my 3 large dogs with all the things they've been through lately and pills. But the second I met her and saw her interact with them I was at ease. She knew how to deal with them, how to be confident with big dogs, and is extremely knowledgeable with animals and care. Thanks Gabby for taking care of the boys and making me feel calm and enjoy a few days away!

Hailey truly went above and beyond watching my pup while we were away at the beach! Initial introduction was warm and could trust she'd be attentive and affectionate towards him. Updated me with photos and comments during our trip, and when I came back the place was as tidy as when we left it! She even made a handwritten note and Polaroid photo of my doggo which I will cherish. Very kind lady who will treat your pet great, highly recommend

Rachel was great. She had a personal situation come up, and she communicated that with me and she was still able to be sure that my dog got his medications on time. She sent pictures and updates and took great care of my house and pets. I definitely hope to work with her again and would highly recommend her!
We had a wonderful experience with Samantha as our dog sitter! She took great care of our dogs and gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Samantha kept the house clean and tidy, sent us regular pictures and updates, and it was clear our dogs were happy and well cared for. We really appreciated her communication and attention to detail. Highly recommend Samantha to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter!

Mo was awesome. He showed up on time, was friendly, left our home as it was when we left, and most importantly, our pets didn't act as if they missed us when we returned. He has his own transportation and has a flexible schedule that could potentially make him more accessible to you and your pet's needs. We booked pretty last-minute, and Mo was very accommodating. We will hire him again.

Claire did a GREAT job taking care of our two little terriers. She followed all our instructions perfectly and kept us updated with pictures all day long. She was on time and left our house just as she found it. The dogs were not stressed at all when we got home, so we knew they were happy being in Claire’s care. We would highly recommend her to anyone needing a caring dog sitter. We will definitely be using her again.
Anastasia took fantastic care of my dog over four days. She was reliable, communicative, and clearly attentive to my dog’s well-being—going the extra mile with careful meal prep and regular walks (as well as bringing some packages that arrived while I was away). I especially appreciated the updates and photos, which gave me real peace of mind while I was away. I highly recommend Anastasia to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter!

Elizabeth is terrific!!!!! She is hands down best sitter we’ve ever had. She house sat and dog sat for us for two weeks and sent multiple pictures and communications per day. My dog is very well taken care of, and house left clean. She followed all our instructions for care of the dog and clearly loved our dog. Highly recommend her. We will be using her services again for our next vacation.

What an incredible pet sitter! I got multiple photos and updates, and she even brushed my dog! Both he and my home looked great when I returned. Elisabeth asked great questions when I met her and wanted to keep his routine consistent while I was gone. I look forward to working with her again real soon.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Loch Lomond walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Loch Lomond maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Loch Lomond choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
