About: I always lead with patience and care. Animals are clear communicators and we just need to listen. I am medically trained (for humans primarily), but I know those skills and knowledge are highly transferable. I work primarily in a hospital. Even though my schedule is consistently changing, I have multiple days off during the week. This allows me to visit anytime throughout the days im off and leaves a lot of flexibility. Respect is key. Whether its for the pet or the home, I believe all things should be approached respectfully and mindfully. I am happy to follow whatever house rules or pet routines you may have.

“Michael was absolutely amazing with our sweet big boy for 10 days while we were out of town. Our guy has newly started having seizures and while we hoped he wouldn’t have one while we were gone he ended up having 4. Michael was not experienced beforehand with sitting with dogs who have seizures but made sure to ask all the questions before hand to make sure he knew what to do. And thankfully he did. He even ended up giving our guy a rectal suppository after the regular medications were not working sufficiently and stayed with him until we were home to ensure a safe handoff. About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, and will care for yours like one of my own. I understand dogs needs and wants, and can accommodate any special circumstances. I’ve cared for coworkers and external family pets. My two Australian shepherds love the company and are extremely easy going. I am a hybrid worker that is very flexible. My work is 10 minutes away from home, and I have no extracurricular activities that occupy my time outside of work. I love to take my family and pets on outside walks and runs during my spare time. I follow strict times when it comes to feeding, potty breaks, and sleep. I have a fenced yard that has shade covering for outdoor lounging. Behind my patio there is a grassed field that I always let my pets run around in. Your pet will always stay by my side and be watched with 100% attention. There are 3 floors inside with plenty of space to do indoor activities. Neighborhood is very peaceful and quiet, with tons of tracks to walk through.
