About: I’ve grown up in a home with multiple pets and have extensive experience caring for animals. Over the years, neighbors and friends have trusted me to care for their pets while they were away. I’m also a four-time foster parent with the Rockingham-Harrisonburg SPCA, where I’ve cared for animals in need and helped prepare them for adoption. I currently work full-time during the week, but I’m fully available on weekends to give your furry family my complete attention and care! I’m available anytime after 5:00 PM on Fridays through Sundays. I’m a true animal lover and will care for your furry family members as if they were my own. About: I've taken care of dogs since I helped my mom with her dog boarding business in 2020 and since then have taken care of a multitude of both young and old dogs. I will NOT take last minute requests without a meet & greet. I'm used to picking up after those without potty training or those with stomach issues and sympathizing over those sweet pups. Our dog was so excited to meet Alex for the first time that he quivered all over! We knew it was a match. Since Bear is 100+ lbs, we needed someone who is strong and can command respect. Alex is that person, and he does his job with love. He sent us daily communications and photos about walks, grooming, feeding, etc. Bear was in good hands. We came home to a happy dog and a clean home. Actually, I think Bear is missing Alex today. We will definitely call on him again!
Andrea was an amazing sitter for our dog, Remi! She came to our house for a meet & greet before house sitting, so Remi could meet her and feel more comfortable with her from the start (he suffers from separation anxiety). We hadn't originally planned on needing her to manage a special diet and medication, but when it came up, she was more than willing and adapted right away. She sent multiple updates a day with photos of how he was doing, was incredibly responsive throughout, and left the house clean and tidy. Having someone well-versed in anxious dogs and that we trusted from the start made a real difference. We'd be thrilled to have her watch Remi again and would highly recommend her to anyone in the area!

From the start, she was incredibly thorough, thoughtful, and attentive to detail. She didn’t just follow instructions — she truly cared about our dogs and their experience. She made sure to check them for ticks, kept us updated, and was very proactive in making sure they were safe and happy. What impressed us the most was her flexibility and dedication. When she realized that the dogs needed a few extra visits, she adjusted her schedule without hesitation. That level of attentiveness and willingness to adapt gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. But the biggest sign of how amazing she is? When we came home, Ren and Quin were happy, relaxed… and honestly didn’t even seem that excited to see us because they had such a great time with her! 😂 That says everything. Jen is someone who genuinely loves animals and treats them like her own, and it shows in every interaction. We feel incredibly lucky to have her as our neighbor and our dog sitter. We would 100% trust her again and recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional care.
Ellie was amazing with our pets! Due to a family death we had to adjust out pet sitting schedule and Ellie was flexible, which we greatly appreciated. The absolute best! So sweet, kind, and genuinely caring, my kittens were so happy and comfortable with her. This was my very first time ever using a house sitter, and also our first time having kittens, so we truly didn’t know what to expect, especially since both kittens had just been spayed and neutered. Melianna went above and beyond. Even on Easter, she was there for us, consistently checking in and sending updates, which gave me so much peace of mind. She handled everything with such professionalism, kindness, and a warm, sweethearted approach. I am incredibly grateful for her and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Will was a joy to have in our home taking care of our 110lb Great Pyrenees named Bear! At our initial interview, we knew he would be a good match. He asked good questions. He won us over with his confidence and skill dealing with a very large dog. Bear had a blast in our absence. Will walked him a least 3 times a day, played with him in our fenced yard, and kept Bear on a schedule. Will also took time to work on some of Bear's training exercises and adminstered his monthly meds. I really liked that Will worked from our home, so he spent most of the day with Bear, which is what Bear is accustomed to. We came home to a happy dog and a clean home. We would happily hire Will again.
Evan is a wonderful pet sitter. My dog and cats were happy and calm when I arrived home after a week. The house was more organized than when I left. She even indulged my sphinx kitten with one of “her” sweaters that she drags out of my closet after Evan texted me about the matter that I’d failed to describe in the care instructions.
