I’m Kaitlin — the person who can’t walk past a dog without smiling, waving, and saying, “Aww, look at that pup!” I’ve always had a deep love for animals, especially dogs (though cats have my heart too), and caring for them genuinely makes me happy. I have experience dog-sitting and house-sitting for friends and family, including caring for rescue dogs with high anxiety and reactivity. I’m especially comfortable working with pups who need extra patience, calm energy, and consistency. I pay close attention to body language and stress signals, keep routines predictable, and always move at the dog’s pace so they feel safe and understood. Anxious dogs tend to do well with me because I stay steady, gentle, and reassuring — even in stressful situations like walks or new environments. I grew up with a beloved basset hound named Dudley, who sadly passed during the pandemic and taught me just how special the bond with a dog can be.
