Hi! I’m Kaitlin — the person who can’t walk past a dog without smiling, waving, and saying, “Aww, look at that pup!” I’ve always had a deep love for animals, especially dogs (though cats have my heart too), and caring for them genuinely makes me happy. I have experience dog-sitting and house-sitting for friends and family, including caring for rescue dogs with high anxiety and reactivity. I’m especially comfortable working with pups who need extra patience, calm energy, and consistency. I pay close attention to body language and stress signals, keep routines predictable, and always move at the dog’s pace so they feel safe and understood. Anxious dogs tend to do well with me because I stay steady, gentle, and reassuring — even in stressful situations like walks or new environments. I grew up with a beloved basset hound named Dudley, who sadly passed during the pandemic and taught me just how special the bond with a dog can be. If you trust me with your pet, I promise to care for them as if they were my own — with love, attentiveness, and respect for their unique personality and needs. I’m so excited to be part of the Rover community and can’t wait to meet your furry family members!

Because I offer house sitting, dog walks, and drop-in visits, I focus on keeping pets comfortable in their own familiar environment. I follow your pet’s daily routine closely—whether that’s mealtime, walks, playtime, or cuddle time—so they feel safe and secure while you’re away. On walks, I always use secure leashes/harnesses and keep a close eye on surroundings to make sure your pet is safe. During drop-in visits, I make sure they have fresh water, a potty break, and plenty of attention before I leave. For house sitting, I provide consistent companionship, regular updates, and a respectful presence in your home so both you and your pet feel at ease. Communication is very important to me, so I’ll share photos and updates so you can see your pet is happy, safe, and cared for while you’re away.

We love her so much and only use her to watch both our pups. She is so sweet and considerate. Our pups have separation issues and we never have to worry going on week long trips when she’s watching them. Life saver. (And I love that she cleans up before she leaves - such a nice touch)

Schedule
I am currently in between jobs and am doing Rover as a full-time job so I will be able to fully focus on caring for your furry family members. Growing up, I’ve had dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, and bunnies as pets. I am up for any challenge and would be thrilled to take on the opportunity of loving and caring for your furry friend when you’re in need.
