“Michael was absolutely amazing with our sweet big boy for 10 days while we were out of town. Our guy has newly started having seizures and while we hoped he wouldn’t have one while we were gone he ended up having 4. Michael was not experienced beforehand with sitting with dogs who have seizures but made sure to ask all the questions before hand to make sure he knew what to do. And thankfully he did. He even ended up giving our guy a rectal suppository after the regular medications were not working sufficiently and stayed with him until we were home to ensure a safe handoff. To top it off he also checked in with us later to see how Moko was doing. We could not recommend him more. Thank you again Michael!”

About: Growing up, I always begged for a pet every chance I got. I have so much love, appreciation, and passion for not only pets but for animals as a whole, and this hasn't changed since I was a kid. In my free time I enjoy playing with my pets and watching animal documentaries. In terms of experience, I am PetTech certified, I am working with a local pet sitting business for over a year now, where I do drop-in visits for dogs and cats, as well as walks and house sitting too! I also previously volunteered with a local animal shelter where I worked with mainly cats and kittens, and dogs on occasion. As a volunteer, my responsibilities mostly included transport, playing with the shelter animals, weighing, and checking in/watching. I currently have 2 cats, 1 male and 1 female, that I got as kittens. I have had these cats for about 2 years. In the past, I had a dog for 3 years. My responsibilities with these pets include/included feeding, bathing, playing, walking, cleaning up after, etc. I am not currently working and have reliable transportation. I have a flexible schedule and lots of time to take care of and spend time with your furry friends! I have experience pet sitting in clients' homes before. Melika was a fantastic sitter for our very opinionated elder beagle. She played age appropriate games with him, carried him up the stairs and kept him company on the couch. She was also very communicative which helped soothe my nerves about leaving our doggo for several days. She also took care of our house, which was cleaner than we left it. 100% would recommend her.
