“Maddy watched our two dogs and cat for us while we were out of town, and she was wonderful. Our pets loved her and she gave them lots of attention. She provided great feedback after each visit. We’d love to have her watch our crew again!”

“We had a fantastic experience with Hannah! She was incredibly responsive and always quick to reply to any questions or updates. When we decided to extend our trip by an extra night, she was more than willing to go above and beyond to accommodate the change, which gave us great peace of mind. Super punctual and reliable, we knew our dog was in great hands. Highly recommend!”

“Thank you so much Mallory!! She did a great job giving my cat and bunnies love and care while we were away! She was friendly and patient with us (the owners, lol) We love the pictures and notes she sent. I would love to have Mallory back to help us out 🙏🏻”

“Thank you so much for loving on my old cat while I was away! Couldn’t be happier and made all the difference having a good trip knowing the old fuzzball was getting lots of attention and was great to get check ins to see how he was doing.”

About: I’ve had pets my entire life and have over 10 years of experience caring for both dogs and cats. Friends and family have trusted me to feed, walk, play with, and look after their pets. I’m also comfortable caring for and helping train puppies, including basic commands, routines, and house training. I have had multiple elderly dogs which I have administered medications of all sorts to. I currently work part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility to care for pets throughout the week. I’m available for house sitting and will make sure each pet receives consistent attention, walks, playtime, and care around my work schedule. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure they stay comfortable in their familiar environment. I carefully follow all feeding, medication, walking, and household instructions, keep doors and gates secure, and provide regular updates so owners know their pets are safe and happy.
“Andrea did a great job with our two chihuahua mixes! She understands their needs and they felt comfortable with her right away. She was also great at communicating and keeping us up to date.”

About: I’ve taken care of multiple dogs during my life time and know how to keep them happy and safe. And this won’t just be me but also my two kids. I also just last year took care of our neighbors hyper dog for a few days. I’m currently not working I’m retired and have free time on my hands and it seemed like an easy side hustle that I can do with my family and so that my youngest daughter learns responsibility. I have a lot of experience with dogs and me and family currently have a dog(Jack Russel Terrier) of 5 years. And with my same experience I will take of your Pet very well and keep them happy. Because pets are more than just companions they are family.
“Manrong went above and beyond in caring for and feeding Moonbeam our cat while we were out of town for a few days. She was very thorough in cleaning out dishes, refilling fresh water, mealtimes, playtime, and did her utmost to open/close shades and maintain a great home environment every time she stopped by to take care of MB. She also gained MB’s trust each day. She was punctual, communicative, and asked questions/ shared updates frequently. She gave us so much of peace of mind! I would recommend her as one of the best petsitter’s we have come across!”

“My kitty loves seeing Leigh. She is always on time and I love getting the pictures she sends everyday. Have used her services many times before and will continue to use. Thank you.”

“Gabriella did a great job dropping in to care for our two cats for a week. She sent lots of pictures and videos, and she was very responsive. We will use her services again!”

About: I have worked with all kinds of dogs and cats over the years, and I pride myself on being compassionate, adaptable, and attentive. Whether I’m working with energetic puppies, tranquil senior dogs, or even dogs recovering from surgery, I’ve got the experience and patience to meet the individual needs of your pets. I’m comfortable administering medications, and working with dogs who might not get along as well with other dogs. Whether pets are big or small, shy or playful, I know how to handle their needs and make them feel loved and comfortable. I also offer routine drop-ins and house sitting, keeping your pets happy while making sure your home stays the way you left it. I have plenty of time on my hands, so I can divest as much as needed to take care of your pets. Whether it’s week days, weekends, or holidays, I am at your service. I have two Golden Retrievers: Winston is 2 while Jake is 14. They both have different needs as Winston is significantly more energetic. He needs a lot more playtime so I take him outside to play throughout the day. Jake is a rugged senior who lives a life of tranquility (although Winston won’t always give that to him) and mostly lays around all day. I walk them both 2 miles every day and let them out throughout the day to use the bathroom. At nights and mornings Jake needs a little assistance getting up and down the stairs and he also requires medication in the morning and night which I put in a chunk of banana. Winston gets a piece of banana too but that’s because he’s spoiled. As for other people’s pets, I use the same amount of care as if they were my own pets. Of course their needs may differ than my two dogs, but I care for everyone’s pets like they are my pets.
“Emily was the kindest cat sitter we could have asked for. I felt 100% comfortable leaving her access to my home and my beloved cat for the time we were away on vacation. I will definitely call her the next time we travel without our cat.”

“Sheila is great with our dogs (especially the one who is skittish and particularly unhappy when we go away) and came for an additional visit when we were delayed coming back due to bad weather)!”

About: I love dogs but not enough to steal yours because I have high morals. Does your dog have a lot of energy? Do they need to be outside and exercise? I will take them for a run, to play fetch, tug of war! Or if it’s an older dog than maybe an easy stroll around the neighborhood and back home for a nap. Each dog is different and will be treated as the best good boy (or girl). I have dog sit for friends and family in the past with no issues. So just know if you go with me your lovely pup will be cared for. I am seeking dogs to bring some joy into my life and hope that you will choose me!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
