“Emaan is a dependable sitter. I have used her for drop by visits and she is always on time and is very caring with my elderly and blind cockapoo. Emaan has been flexible with last minute changes I needed to make. I will call her again.”

“Megan was wonderful! I’m a helicopter Mama and she made me feel as ease. Megan sent me pics and updates to reassure they were ok. I will definitely book Megan again! :)”

About: I love making connections with new paw-bearing friends! My family and I have been raising cats and dogs my whole life, so I've spent years nurturing my family dogs and cats. I'm happy to follow preset instructions or work with you to make a new plan for whatever your fur-babies need. Allow me to make your daily routine, or special occasion, a little simpler by ensuring your pet gets the care they need. Hmu! Most of my time during the week is for pet care, however I do work a part time job at Crumbl. With a little planning/preparation, it won't be a burden, pinky promise! Prioritizing any kind of instruction, keeping space between your pet and others, allowing them plenty of time to explore on walks and giving your pet plenty of lovins', are the most important to me to upkeep safety during any job.

“Did such a good job with my high maintenance boys! Also maintained really great communication and updates! Came home to very happy and well cared for fellas!”

“Brigette did an amazing job caring for our fur babies while we were away. She’s very attentive and responsive; sends wonderful pix and videos through the stay. Definitely book her if you’re looking for an awesome and responsible pet sitter!”

About: Growing up, I’ve been surrounded by a variety of pets in our home – hamsters, turtles, guinea pigs, and our family dog. I was primarily responsible for our pets and also have experience with other dogs entrusted to me by close family friends. You can be assured that I will provide your pet with attentive, reliable care while you enjoy your time away. As of now, my schedule is quite flexible since I am back home for the summer months. This allows me to have plenty of time to shower your dog with lots of love! We live in a townhouse with a small, enclosed yard. Our home is pet friendly and there are small parks nearby where your dog could enjoy.
About: Taking care of dogs has always been a love of mine. I grew up with a chocolate lab who passed away earlier this year (March 2026), and have been wanting to be around dogs since. I fed, cared for, and played with my lab until the day he couldn't anymore, and I would love to have the opportunity to take care of someone else's pet. I'm a college student from JMU home for the summer, looking to stay busy! I love pets and would love to take care of others, as my chocolate lab passed away earlier this year. I have a fenced-in yard from when I had my dog and a huge area for them to play and run around at any point in time.

About: I have a passion for all animals and 3 years of experience. I have an older dog myself and I am very comfortable working with animals of all ages. I am currently home from college on summer break with a very flexible schedule that can be tailored to any and all needs a pet may have. I'm all about making your pets day. It's already hard enough on them not having their favorite people home so anything I can do to bring them enjoyment and pass the time brings me so much pleasure.
“Nicole was wonderful! For several days she stopped by to check on my cat, who warmed up to her so quickly. She sent me updates and made sure he was well cared for and got many pets. 10/10 recommend her for your pets needs.”

“Manrong was an excellent cat sitter even during the recent snow and ice storms! She braved our unplowed driveway with no complaints and sent friendly, thorough updates while we were out of town.”

About: Eating, medicine, play time will follow your normal routine. Will send pictures/videos as often as you would like, I want you to be happy and comfortable knowing your pet is having a wonderful time Tzu, Pugs, Portuguese Water Dogs, Goldens. I work for Fairfax County Public Schools in the Administration office and am home every day by 3pm during the week. Please provide their normal schedule for feeding time and exercise so I can maintain this while you are away. I offer overnight stays aimed for those that work night shifts that would need to be dropped off in the afternoon/evening and picked up by 4am the next morning. I offer to come pick up your pet and take you to the airport and you can leave your car at your home. They will have free run of the house and will be taken on frequent walks. Bull Run Park is near the property that has miles of trails and a creek nearby and if they like to swim. I will follow your instructions, walking times, feeding time, medication etc. I don't have cameras in my home but I will take pictures and videos of your pet every day and send them to you so that you know they are happy and healthy. It's important that they are not aggressive, and are cat/dog/people friendly. The safety and welfare of your pet is my #1 priority. I do insist on a meet and greet prior to drop off to see if they are ok with this environment. This will help them get comfortable being here with you and I find this reduces their stress during drop off.
“Kaitlin, thank you for taking care of Bagheera again! I appreciate the photos and updates. Thanks also for suggesting a great alternate sitter for the day you couldn’t care for her!”

“Teju was very caring and responding when she took care of Sola. She made a pre-visit to make herself familiar to my dog and communicated so closely. Thank you, Teju, for your kind care!”

About: I’ve grown up around animals my whole life, so caring for pets has always come naturally to me. I have 4 years of hands-on experience working at a dog daycare, where I cared for dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments—from energetic puppies to senior dogs. I’m very comfortable maintaining routines and making pets feel safe and happy while their owners are away. I treat every pet like my own and always aim to provide a reliable, loving, and stress-free experience for both you and your dog. I’m currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time to give your pups lots of attention, playtime, and care! On days that I work, I’m typically available after 2 PM, and on my days off I have a much more flexible schedule. I always try to keep pets on their normal routine and make sure they get plenty of exercise, attention, and affection throughout the day. I prioritize creating a safe, comfortable, and stress-free environment for every pet in my care. After working at a dog daycare for 4 years, I’m experienced handling dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments, and I’m comfortable adjusting my approach based on each dog’s personality and needs. I also have a fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor time and play. I do have a small senior dog at home, but he can easily be separated if needed to ensure everyone stays comfortable and safe during their stay.
About: Hi my name is Catherine! I am a compassionate and attentive pet caregiver with hands-on experience caring for my 1-year-old Shih Tzu–Bichon mix, Willow. Through daily care, I’ve developed strong skills in feeding routines, grooming maintenance, potty training reinforcement, exercise, and providing a structured, loving environment for young dogs. In addition to personal pet care, I have professional experience working as a Veterinary Assistant, where I assisted with animal handling, basic medical care, administering medications, monitoring pet behavior, and supporting veterinarians during examinations and treatments. This background has strengthened my ability to recognize signs of stress, illness, or discomfort in pets and respond appropriately. Friends, family, and clients often call me the “dog whisperer” because of my natural ability to connect with dogs, earn their trust quickly, and keep them calm and comfortable. I pride myself on patience, gentle handling, and understanding each pet’s unique personality and needs. My goal is to provide safe, loving, and reliable care so every pet feels secure and happy while their owners are away. Pet care is a consistent and meaningful part of my daily routine. As the owner of a 1-year-old Shih Tzu–Bichon mix named Willow, my day naturally revolves around feeding schedules, walks, playtime, grooming, and reinforcing positive behaviors. My previous experience as a Veterinary Assistant has also shaped how I approach pet care week to week. I’m attentive to health, behavior changes, and overall well-being, making pet care feel second nature to me. Caring for animals isn’t just a task in my schedule — it’s something I genuinely enjoy and prioritize every day. Whether pets stay in my home or I care for them in theirs, I focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. In my home, pets get plenty of attention, walks, playtime, and a structured routine alongside my dog, Willow. I keep the environment clean, supervised, and stress-free. In a client’s home, I stick closely to the pet’s normal schedule so they feel secure. I follow feeding routines, walk schedules, medication needs, and provide companionship while keeping owners updated. With my Veterinary Assistant background, I’m also attentive to health and behavior, which helps me provide an extra level of care.

Yiyi came to meet the pets before the sit. She was super diligent with the details of where everything was and making sure she did everything right. Her communication was fabulous. I appreciate confirmations and communication so this was a plus for me. She came when I requested and all the dogs were happy.

I highly recommend Fernanda as a dog walker. She is reliable, always on time, and communicates exceptionally well. She responded to my request quickly and made the entire process easy and stress-free. I appreciate her professionalism and dependability, and I always feel confident that my dog is in good hands.

Cassie did an incredible job taking care of our three kitties. They absolutely loved her and loved hanging out with her, even though they are usually pretty shy around new people. She made sure that every evening they had their dinner, water, clean litter boxes and lots of love. We felt much more comfortable being away from them for a week knowing that Cassie was taking such good care of them. We came home to some pretty happy kitties, thanks to Cassie. We will definitely use her, again, next time we need someone to care for our fur babies.

Jen took care of our pup and guinea pigs for a second time, and just like the first, she did an incredible job. Her attention to detail is impressive and she truly cares about each and every animal she takes care of. She remembers their funny little quirks and routines and puts us at ease every time! Will book again and again!

Our dog immediately felt comfortable with David. He was very patient and thorough with her, and even tidied up her food and surrounding area. His communication was perfect and very proactive. He is the only person we will consider in the future. Thanks David!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
