She responded to my request quickly and made the entire process easy and stress-free. I appreciate her professionalism and dependability, and I always feel confident that my dog is in good hands.”

About: I have three dogs of my own, and plenty of experience walking and taking care of them! I’ve also pet sat/walked for others and am comfortable with all breeds and sizes as well as other animal types. Two of my pups are senior citizens, so I have experience with that as well! I’m currently an online college student, so most weekdays and weekdays work for me! I’m also available during most times of the day. While I don’t board pets in my own home, I do go to the clients home to check in on the animals! I’ve always made sure to be respectful of their space, make sure the pets are well taken care of, and lock up behind me.

“Neha took amazing care of my 3 kitties while we were on vacation. I am very particular about who cares for my fur babies and I instantly felt at ease with Neha and knew that she would take great care in ensuring that my cats were safe and well looked after. She provided multiple photos daily and enabled me to be able to relax knowing that my kitties were safe and happy.”

About: I rescued Romeo three years ago and since then have been taking care of friends and family members dogs. I will provide a fun and safe environment for dogs to play and rest. I believe it is important to pay close attention to dogs behavior and nonverbal communication cues. They can tell you a lot about the way they’re feeling without even saying a word (or bark!). The daycare rate posted is for 8+ hours. I will adjust the rate for Under four hours to $30, for 4 hours to 6 hours $40 and for 6-8 hours $50. I work from home 100% of the time so I can be pretty flexible on drop off and pick up times. We Have a temperature controlled sunroom at the end of the driveway, So it would be easy for you to drop off your dog. I have a large fence in backyard and fun loving pitbull mix, Romeo. Romeo generally gets along with other dogs, but I would suggest meet and greet to make sure Your pup and my dog vibe.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and have nearly 7 years of dog sitting experience starting in middle school. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities and I pride myself on being extremely attentive, reliable, and detail oriented with every pet. I have experience handling multiple dogs at once including caring for up to five dogs for 7+ days, so I’m very comfortable with both longer stays in higher-energy households. I treat every dog like my own and always make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I also provide consistent updates so you can feel confident and not ease while you’re away. I’m a student at Virginia Tech with a flexible schedule, typically having at most two classes a day. Outside of class, I spent most of my time at home, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention, supervision, and care throughout the day. My routine makes it easy for me to incorporate walks, feeding, playtime, and check-in consistently. I’m able to adapt to each pets needs and schedule, whether that means early mornings, midday visits, or evening care. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I live in a pet friendly apartment with a fence dog area, so dogs have a safe place to get outside and play. I’m very attentive and make sure pets are always supervised and cared for based on their specific needs and routines. I also keep owners updated regularly so you always know how your pet is doing.
“11/10. This was our third time booking Argelia to take care of our beloved Bear, and she nailed it as always. Her updates about Bear's sassiness had me lmao (and were totally on brand for my cat). I had a really relaxing Christmas with my family since I could trust that my kitty was well cared for.”

About: I’ve been a lifelong animal lover and have hands-on experience caring for pets every day through my own dog, Milo, and my two cats, Lola and Jerry, who I’ve had since I was little. Caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life, and I genuinely love making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I’m experienced with feeding routines, walks, playtime, cleanup, litter box care, and giving pets the patience, attention, and affection they need. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, and I’m always happy to adapt to what makes them feel most at ease. I’m flexible and happy to work with your pet’s routine and needs. Because I care for my own dog, Milo, and my cats, Lola and Jerry, pet care is already a regular part of my daily life. I can provide dependable care, playtime, feeding, walks, check-ins, and lots of attention to make sure your pet feels comfortable and well cared for. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are my top priorities. I have a big backyard perfect for dogs to run around and lots of inside space for cats to comfortably roam. I always make sure pets are supervised, secure, and cared for in a calm, loving environment. I’m attentive to feeding instructions, routines, and any specific care needs, and I understand how important trust is when someone is caring for a beloved pet. About: I have 3 dogs of my own, big breeds, and I have trained all 3 by myself. I adore all sizes of pets! I’d love to meet yours! I care for them as much as I do my own! 😊 I currently work an 8-5, but I do have time in the evenings to walk, play, and train. The weekends I am completely free. Love to send pictures and videos to the customers pets also!
About: I grew up in a pet loving home, where at any given time we had at least two cats and one dog living under our roof. As young as 12 years old, I was entrusted by neighbors to pet sit, and I took part in caring for and training my own family pets. I now have 4 cats and a dog of my own, and I promise to love and care for your fur babies as I would for my own. I’m currently working part time as a dog groomer, however my schedule is very unstructured, so it changes from week to week. Usually however, I’m only working 2-3 days a week, which leaves my schedule wide open to spend my days with your fur babies! I am unable to care for any additional animals in my own home, however I would be more than happy to watch your babies in your home! I would ensure your home was treated with respect and would do my part in keeping it clean. I’d be able to crate your pups if desired, as well as clean litter boxes, as well as any other care-taking tasks required.
About: What sets me apart is my hands-on experience with puppies, senior dogs, and large breeds. I own a Rottweiler, so I’m very comfortable handling strong, high-energy dogs and understand the importance of structure, consistency, and calm leadership. I’m patient and attentive with puppies who are still learning routines and boundaries, and I take a gentle, observant approach with senior dogs who may need extra care, slower pacing, or medication monitoring. I pay close attention to body language and stress signals, prioritize safety, and treat every dog as if they were my own. Pet care is a regular part of my daily routine. I plan my day around walks, feeding, playtime, and rest, and I’m able to provide consistent attention and supervision. I provide a safe, clean, and loving environment for every pet in my care. I follow each pet’s routines, dietary needs, and medical instructions carefully, whether in my home or the client’s. I ensure their space is secure, give plenty of attention and exercise, and communicate regularly with owners to build trust and peace of mind.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Manassas Park
I had a great experience with Lisa and highly recommend her! From the start, she was communicative, professional, and clearly passionate about caring for animals. I gave her a long list of info about my pups and she welcomed the details. Her confident attitude and understanding, gave me total peace of mind while I was away. She provided pics and all went well! It’s not easy to trust someone with your fur babies, but she made the whole experience stress-free and positive. I will absolutely be booking with her again in the future!

Our dog immediately felt comfortable with David. He was very patient and thorough with her, and even tidied up her food and surrounding area. His communication was perfect and very proactive. He is the only person we will consider in the future. Thanks David!!

We've used Alyssia several times now and will absolutely continue requesting her! She stopped by for a drop-in visit to let our pups out for a quick potty break, feed them dinner, and give them their medications, and she handled everything perfectly. She even went the extra mile by washing their dishes and rinsing out the canned food container so I could just toss it straight into the recycling bin. That kind of thoughtfulness really means a lot! It gave us such peace of mind knowing our dogs were in such caring and capable hands while we were out. Alyssia is reliable, attentive, and clearly cares about the pets she looks after. We’re so grateful to have found her and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wonderful pet sitter!

Caroline was super friendly had excellent communication and made great efforts to get to know my dog and everything that he liked. By the end of the meet and greet, he was obsessed with her. She was friendly and responsible and made sure that all of my requests were filled and I had a lot of of them 😊 I will definitely be booking her again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
