About: I grew up in a pet loving home, where at any given time we had at least two cats and one dog living under our roof. As young as 12 years old, I was entrusted by neighbors to pet sit, and I took part in caring for and training my own family pets. I now have 4 cats and a dog of my own, and I promise to love and care for your fur babies as I would for my own. I’m currently working part time as a dog groomer, however my schedule is very unstructured, so it changes from week to week. Usually however, I’m only working 2-3 days a week, which leaves my schedule wide open to spend my days with your fur babies! I am unable to care for any additional animals in my own home, however I would be more than happy to watch your babies in your home! I would ensure your home was treated with respect and would do my part in keeping it clean. I’d be able to crate your pups if desired, as well as clean litter boxes, as well as any other care-taking tasks required.
“Nicole did an amazing job watching our pets over Memorial weekend. She was always on time, gave periodic updates and our dog and cat seemed happy and content after she left.”

“Sarahí took care so well of our little Ramon! She was very attentive in her drop-in visits always keeping us posted of our puppies progress as he is very young. Ramon got used to her very quickly and my husband feel extremely comfortable and happy with her disposition! Thank you for your outstanding care Sarahi ?”

About: We are a mother daughter duo that will ensure your pet is always taken care of. We have been taking care of dogs all our lives and have had dogs of all kinds that were loved and cared for like our own children. We have tended to puppies up to senior dogs that require medication and special care. Rover is our full time job, with both of us able to help in a pinch the flexibility we can provide weekly or daily is something we are proud to provide. I have a fenced in yard, space to crate a dog and also can put gates if needed to keep dog in certain areas. I am also able to administer any medication if needed.
“Melissa did a drop-in for our dog. She was very friendly, communicative and asked questions to make sure everything went smoothly. She sent a ton of pics and updates! We will definitely use her again and for overnight stays as well.”
“Katie is such a wonderful pet care specialist. She did so much more than asked for her drop-ins visits. I re-booked for 2nd week and would highly recommend this individual for your perfect pet care needs!”

“Hayleigh came out to meet our dogs before a house sitting booking and spent time becoming familiar with them and their routines. Hayleigh has a calming presence and I know our dogs will enjoy their time together.”

“Last minute request due to sister coming into town to run the Marine Corps Marathon. So appreciative of Samantha being available! Great communicator and Winnie seems very comfortable with her. Will continue to use.”

About: I’ve taken care of multiple dogs during my life time and know how to keep them happy and safe. And this won’t just be me but also my two kids. I also just last year took care of our neighbors hyper dog for a few days. I’m currently not working I’m retired and have free time on my hands and it seemed like an easy side hustle that I can do with my family and so that my youngest daughter learns responsibility. I have a lot of experience with dogs and me and family currently have a dog(Jack Russel Terrier) of 5 years. And with my same experience I will take of your Pet very well and keep them happy. Because pets are more than just companions they are family.

About: I’ve never been without pets in my life. I have been taking care of (feeding, walking, etc.) them since I was a little kid! I’ve helped with cats, dogs, and bunnies. All of our pets were raised from babies and cared for until they passed away. I’ve given sick pets pills and other medications. I know how important it is for pets to get exercise and enrichment! I currently work part-time and have a flexible schedule! I have my own transportation with a reliable vehicle and can swing by for a quick visit or plan a longer stay to care for your pet! I can adjust to your environment! I am a traveler and have moved around so I understand apartment living and family-style homes and how that can affect pet care. I can feed, walk, and play with your pet no matter what that looks like.
About: I’ve been around pets all my life. I was dog/housesitting for my aunt and people from around the neighborhood had noticed how well I had taken care of their dog and walked him consistently. I had multiple neighbors ask me to pet/house sit. I would like to extend that service to you! I like taking long walks and making sure your pets are entertained and comfortable. I work remotely, so I have the freedom to walk and take care of your pets throughout the day with ease. Expect occasional outings for appointments or shorts tasks, but they never last long and I let you know in advance. I prefer visiting or staying in the owners home, especially since I have two dogs of my own at home. My services include giving medications and light house cleaning beyond just walking and feeding.

About: What sets me apart is my genuine love for animals and my experience caring for my own pets. I currently have three dogs, one cat, and a rabbit, so I understand the responsibility, patience, and attention that pets need every day. Being around animals has always been a big part of my life, and I enjoy making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I know that every pet has their own personality and routine, and I do my best to follow their schedule so they feel at ease while their owners are away. Whether it’s going for walks, playtime, feeding, or simply giving them extra attention and cuddles, I make sure they get the care they deserve. I also understand how important it is for pet owners to know their pets are doing well, so I’m happy to provide updates and photos. My goal is to treat every pet like family and give them a caring, stress-free experience while you’re away. Pet care fits well into my weekly routine. I am available Monday through Thursday and have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets the time and attention they need. On Mondays and Wednesdays, I am available from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I am available from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. I enjoy spending time with animals and can make time for walks, feeding, playtime, and check-ins throughout the day. I am committed to providing reliable and loving care for every pet I look after. When caring for pets, my priority is making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. In a client’s home, I follow their pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions. I make sure pets always have fresh water, attention, and a clean environment. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets. I treat every pet with kindness and patience and care for them as if they were my own. I also provide updates and photos so owners can feel confident that their pets are happy and doing well while they are away.
About: My Fiance and I have 3 dogs of our own and work from home. We have a 0.5 acre fenced in yard, take them for walks and go to the dog park, and wouldn't mind giving the extra care any owner would want. We have a 1 Story Rancher with a fenced in yard and multiple rooms for pups to play! We both work from home and spend most of our time at home now. We have no issue with boarding for weekends and during the week as well. I live with my dogs and gf and we take the dogs for walks morning, afternoon, night, and also open the backyard for play time! Our schedule also has meals twice a day, but can accommodate as well. All dogs are welcome, that welcome other dogs to them. If needed we have several rooms for separation, and feed separately as well. The backyard is also fenced in for all dogs to be in.

About: I’ve been trusted to housesit for small-medium dogs for 3 years including feeding, bathroom breaks, long walks, and play time. I am training to be a licensed counselor, and I am a calming presence to be around. I love to play with pets and help them feel relaxed! I’m currently in online graduate school, so my schedule is flexible to your needs! I am available to care for your pet in the mornings, an afternoon break, or evening walk and playtime. I care for pets by adhering to directions for care and ensuring their needs are met. I am looking forward to caring for your pet!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Manassas
Christine did a fantastic job with our two dogs. She is very reliable, she always came on time and did everything I asked for. And I could tell she really cared for our dogs, she even gave them the extra TLC they needed during thunderstorms since they get so terribly afraid. I highly recommend her and will certainly book her again!
Evelyn is an exceptional pet sitter! She is responsible, dependable, and clearly cared deeply for our pets while we were away. She kept us updated, followed all instructions carefully, and made sure our pets were happy, comfortable, and well cared for. It gave us real peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. One of our pets is a 9week old puppy. I would absolutely recommend Evelyn to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter.

I had a great experience with Lisa and highly recommend her! From the start, she was communicative, professional, and clearly passionate about caring for animals. I gave her a long list of info about my pups and she welcomed the details. Her confident attitude and understanding, gave me total peace of mind while I was away. She provided pics and all went well! It’s not easy to trust someone with your fur babies, but she made the whole experience stress-free and positive. I will absolutely be booking with her again in the future!

We've used Alyssia several times now and will absolutely continue requesting her! She stopped by for a drop-in visit to let our pups out for a quick potty break, feed them dinner, and give them their medications, and she handled everything perfectly. She even went the extra mile by washing their dishes and rinsing out the canned food container so I could just toss it straight into the recycling bin. That kind of thoughtfulness really means a lot! It gave us such peace of mind knowing our dogs were in such caring and capable hands while we were out. Alyssia is reliable, attentive, and clearly cares about the pets she looks after. We’re so grateful to have found her and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wonderful pet sitter!

Frannie was amazing with my 2 dogs! One is very boisterous, the other is very cautious of people. Frannie was very calm, patient, and soft spoken with my cautious one. In minutes, Frannie won her over and she was asking for pets from her. Frannie also stayed the entire time that I booked her, she did everything that was asked of her and more. Will be booking with her again

First time using Rover and I was very happy with the services provided by Siria. She was flexible, prompt and super loving to my two 7mth old Labrador brothers. They are a handful at 70lbs each and she was great. I will definitely seek her help when I need a sitter again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
